This study is a descriptive correlation study that analyzes the correlation between health-related lifestyle and quality of life characteristics of single household. Variables were selected 1,220 surveys of single household from the Korea Health Panel 2015. The average age of single-person households in Korea was 68.19, with women accounting for 71.3% of the single-person households. One household due to each private sector accounted for 64.8%, while 42.3% responded to their subjective health status as "ordinary." Smokers accounted for 31.7% and drinkers 34.7%, with 55.3%t of the low-activity group making up the largest amount of physical activity. The quality of life score was $13.31{\pm}1.828$. There was a positive correlation between smoking, drinking, physical activity and quality of life. Based on this data, progress of physical activity improvement program in support of the diversity and social relations are needed, and individual psychological and emotional support of single household needs to be developed.
The railway accident is characterized by widespread and great(immerse) damage to our society when an accident occurred even if the probability of a railway accident is low. It is no doubt that the role of a rolling stock driver who are active in the first line of the rail safety driving is the most important to prevent an unexpected railway accident. Before new railway safety law being taken into effect, each railway operating organization had the responsibility of training a rolling stock driver by qualification criteria (the requirements or standards of competency), training period, probation period decided on their own standards. To train drivers driving same locomotive model, each railway operating organization had a variety of standards to draft and train trainees. Consequently, It was considered inefficient way to train and manage rolling stock drivers. However, after implementing the new railway safety law, a new system including training and evaluation process to issue driver's license on the condition that entire requirements are satisfied has been established. To prove the competency of the rolling stock driver objectively, training center and third-party evaluation center are divided individually and assigned by government office. Training center should design the training program to allot theatrical education time for different trainee group and to secure maximum practical training time utilizing simulator system to enhance the rolling stock driver's competency. This study analyzes certain conditions necessary to maximize the effectiveness and practical use of training for aquisition of a driver's license and the problems of the existing rail safety law and the ways to improve them.
This study analyzed plans for retirement by focusing on preferred retirement timing(PRT) measure. Current pension program show rather strong guideline about the timing of full-retirement. This study asked whether the middle age group are willing to retire correspond to the policy guidelines or not. Research sample came from 2008 KLOSA data, recruiting 1,367 workers who are residing in cities or in metropolitan area (women: 34.8%). I have analyzed one item question asking "In what age do you want to fully retire?", The results showed that, about two third of respondents declared they do not want to retire unless they have health problems, or would expect to retire no earlier than age 70. However, a third of respondents expected normal retirement coming between 60~64. Second, the determinants of timing for retirement were differ by PRT. Social determinants, such as gender, short work hours, being employed, and higher status in family income were associated with early PRT. While, good health status, positive view on the future economics were highly associated with late PRT. The results reveal that the timing of retirement is getting more diverse and obscure in the individual level.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether the gender, grade and school type of middle school students made any differences to their sexual awareness and sexual behaviors in an effort to lay the groundwork for providing more efficient sex education. The research questions were posed as follows: First, what is the sexual awareness of middle school students? Second, what are the sexual behaviors of middle school students? Third, are their gender, school year and school type related to their sexual awareness and behaviors? The subjects in this study were 976 middle school students from Gyeonggi province. After a survey was conducted with questionnaires prepared by this researcher based on earlier studies to suit the purpose of the study, the collected data were analyzed with SPSS 10.0 program. The frequency analysis, x2 test and correlational analysis were implemented, and basic statistical data were obtained. The conclusions were as follows: First, regarding their sexual awareness, the largest group of them agreed that one must report in case of being raped(4.36), and the smallest number of them thought that one might have a sexual relationship with a person other than his or her spouse after marriage(1.56). Second, as for experience of indecent materials, part of sexual behaviors, 67.4 percent had ever contacted such materials. The most common medium through which they contacted them was the Internet(56.5%). The above-mentioned findings suggested that the sexual awareness of the middle school students wasn't influenced by gender or school type. But that varied with grade, as the third graders had the best sexual consciousness. Their sexual behaviors were different according to gender. The boy students contacted more indecent materials, and their experience of such materials varied with grade, since the third graders contacted the most obscene materials. And that also varied with school type, and the non-engineering students contacted more obscene materials. As for sexual drives, their masturbation experience was different according to gender, grade and school type. The number of the boys who practiced masturbation was four-fold larger than that of the girls, and the second graders had more such experience. By school type, the non-engineering students practiced more masturbation, but there was no significant gap between their kissing, caressing and dating experiences.

The purpose of this study is to find out the Learning elements in 'Curriculum Reconstruction' of Elementary Pre-service Teachers in Connection with 'The weather and our daily life'. The pre-service teachers who participated in the study formed a research group of 29 students in 2nd grade who are attending the first semester of A university of education and taking courses in 'teaching research 1'. Participants described the learning topics and contents they would like to add to curriculum 'The weather and our daily life'. Each response was analyzed and classified based on scientific terms related to weather or climate. The results of the study were as follows. First, there were three learning topics related to weather, such as water phenomena in the atmosphere, fine dust and yellow dust phenomena, and light or electricity phenomena, and two topics related to climate such as abnormal climate and global warming. Second, interest in the problem of fine dust and yellow dust in the atmosphere was relatively high. Third, the interest in learning in the knowledge area was relatively higher than in the learning in the function or attitude area. Through these research results, it can be confirmed that it is necessary to develop a climate change or climate crisis education program.

The purpose of this research was to examine the experiences of three types of family-friendly workplace professionals (professionals here after) including consultants, certification auditors, and professional instructors, and to provide suggestions for the improvement of training programs aimed at such professionals. Ten professionals participated in focus group interviews. Two themes were identified: the competencies of the professionals and ways to improve the training system and the curriculums of training programs. Competencies are dependent on job type. Therefore, different training programs should be provided to the three types of professionals. To make training programs more comprehensive, most participants agreed that training program curriculums for the three types of professionals should link together. Participants also suggested increasing training time and differentiating training programs between new and experienced specialists. In terms of improving the training system, professional networking and the creation of a database for family-friendly programs were discussed. The findings suggest that training programs need to be restructured in line with the competencies required by the professionals and professionals' needs.
This study was conducted to identify the effects of pressure taping between tibia and fibula of High Ankle Sprain athletes on pain, Range of Motion(ROM), and strength and to provide basic data for rehabilitation programs. The subjects of the study were conducted with a total of 10 athletes except for four who gave up who were diagnosed with high ankle sprain, or who were diagnosed with ankle sprain but their physical examinations proved positive. The results showed no significant differences in pain(Visual Analog Scale, VAS). The ROM was significantly increased in inversion(IV) and eversion(EV) in both groups. The Isometric strength was significantly improved in IV(0°, 7°, 14°) and EV(0°) in Taping Group(TG). When taping was applied to athletes with injury to the High Ankle Sprain, ROM and muscle strength improved at the same pain level.

The purpose of this study is to check the trend of press articles and research trends in journal papers in the last 10 years, which dealt with the subject of 'university core competencies' with a big data analysis method. The main research methodology of this study applied the BigKinds analysis system and the semantic network analysis methodology. The results are as follows: First, the number of press articles related to university core competencies showed a keyword trend that rapidly increased in December 2014 and the second half of 2020. Related keywords were curriculum, specialization, project group, Ministry of Education, ACE, and competitiveness. Second, the semantic network value between keywords of related research papers showed 554 degree, 18,467 avg. degree, and 0.637 density. The degree of centrality of connection was analyzed in the order of university(1606), competency(1481), core(1349), and core competency(1301). Betweenness centrality was analyzed as core competencies(13.101), university students(13.101), university(13.101), and competencies(13.101). The results of this research are expected to give implications to future research and policy-making, educational program planning and operation, etc. to members of higher education institutions, experts in education policy, and educational scholars.
Background: Despite the lack of official COVID-19 statistics, various workplaces and occupations have been at the center of COVID-19 outbreaks. We aimed to compare legal measures and governance established for managing COVID-19 infection risks at workplaces in nine Asia and Pacific countries and to recommend key administrative measures. Methods: We collected information on legal measures and governance from both general citizens and workers regarding infection risks such as COVID-19 from industrial hygiene professionals in nine countries (Indonesia, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Republic of the Philippines, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand) using a structured questionnaire. Results: A governmental body overseeing public health and welfare was in charge of containing the spread and occurrence of infectious diseases under an infectious disease control and prevention act or another special act, although the name of the pertinent organizations and legislation vary among countries. Unlike in the case of other traditional hazards, there have been no specific articles or clauses describing the means of mitigating virus risk in the workplace that are legally required of employers, making it difficult to define the responsibilities of the employer. Each country maintains own legal systems regarding access to the duration, administration, and financing of paid sick leave. Many workers may not have access to paid sick leave even if it is legally guaranteed.
This study aims to analyze the changes in school/corporate authorities participation after overseas training in Germany and Switzerland. According to this study, the satisfaction with program contents and help for the operation of apprenticeship education was very high. Even though the satisfaction with each type of apprenticeship education institutes did not show differences in accordance with participants' age, there were statistically significant differences in the satisfaction in accordance with work area and position, so that it would be necessary to reflect the results of analysis on the selection of institutes to visit in the future. Regarding the changes in the perception of operation of apprenticeship school in accordance with school/corporate authorities' participation in overseas training, school authorities' perception of the whole areas was improved after training than before training like understanding, planning, practice, and evaluation of apprenticeship education while corporate authorities' perception was not. As corporate authorities also understood the necessity of overseas training for the operation of apprenticeship education, however, in order to increase the effects of overseas training in the future, it would be necessary to provide lots of information to help the understanding of apprenticeship education through preliminary training or regular council and council of each project group. Because of the huge differences in socio-cultural conditions in the practice of apprenticeship education between Korea and two countries such as Germany and Switzerland, it would be needed to operate overseas training that could draw the improvement measures within the system of Korea instead of simple comparative analysis.
