  • As a number of new college students is gradually decreasing, each college is trying to find various solutions for gathering many students and operating a school. In specialty, information such as entrance examination and matriculation status data is very important for a college to decide a direction of admission and public relations policy, and increase welfare of the school. Therefore, it is seriously needed for a school to introduce a matriculation management system that can do the effective analysis through various entrance examination and matriculation status data and decision factors of school. In this study, I developed a matriculation management system which can analyze information of applicants, successful candidates and registrants based on national framework data. It is expected that the developed system can provide appropriate and rational information for public relations policy and operation to a college.

  • Many formats are used for recording and processing in the research of earthquake seismology and earthquake engineering. It is very difficult to program the Reading and writing algorithm for data processing because fill formats are very different from each other. It is suggested new file format of Korea Standard earthquake data (KSED) two types of ASCII and binary that are read and written easily. The Program package of basic data processing (Analyst) which has function of basic filtering spectrum analysis event gathering phase picking and location is developed In addition this program supports file transformation from another format(Mini SEED OMD K2) to KSED format.

  • 효율적인 네트워크 관리를 위해서는 먼저 관리 네트워크 상에 발생된 장애 발생 시스템의 파악을 통한 관리 대상 선별이 선행되어야 하며, 이를 통해 관리 네트워크 토폴로지 상에서 실제 관리 가능한 시스템과 관리 불가능한 시스템을 구분하여 관리할 수 있어야 한다. 이는 관리자로 하여금 네트워크 관리를 위한 불필요한 관리 트래픽의 발생을 방지하고자 하는 것이다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 관리 네트워크 상에 한 개 이상의 노드들에 의해 장애가 발생했을 때 실제 폴링 가능한 노드와 폴링 불가능한 노드를 찾아내는 알고리즘을 도출하고, 이를 통해 관리 네트워크의 토폴로지 인지 여부에 따라 전체 관리 대상에 대한 폴링 횟수와 폴링 응답 시간에 대한 효율성을 평가하였다. 또한, 이를 실제 네트워크 환경 하에서 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • In case of rectangular latticed pattern which shearing rigidity is very small, it has a concern to drop Buckling-strength considerably by external force. So, by means of system to increase buckling-strength, there is a method of construction that lattice of dome is reinforced by braced member. In a case like this, shearing rigidity of braced member increase buckling-strength of the whole of structure and can be designed economically from the viewpoint of practice. Therefore, this paper is aimed at investigating how much does rigidity of braced member united with latticed member bearing principal stress of dome increase buckling-strength of the whole of structure. the subject of study is rectangular latticed domes that are a set of 2-way lattice dome which grid is simple and number of member gathering at junction is small. Analysis method is based on FEM dealing with the geometrically nonlinear deflection problems.

Object-Oriented Field Information Management Program Developed for Precision Agriculture

  • This study was conducted to develop software which provides automatic site-specific field data acquisition, data processing, data mapping and management for precision agriculture. The developed software supports acquisition and processing of both digital and analog data streams. The architecture was object-oriented and each component in the architecture was developed as a separate class. In precision agriculture research, the laborious task of manual ground-truth data collection will be avoided using the developed software. In addition, gathering high-density data eliminates the need for interpolation of values for un-sampled areas. This software shows good potential for expansion and compatibility for variable-rate-application (VRA). The FIM (Field Information Management) computer program provides the user with an easy-to-follow process for field information management for precision agriculture.

  • The aims of this study was to identify the needs of a generation-integrated housing complex by respondents with different generations and propose the plans for this type of low-rise housing complex. Respondents were needed a housing unit with 31-40 pyung, three rooms, and two baths. Also, they wanted to live a housing complex with size of 50-100 housing units, providing community services such as green zone and rivulet, community programs and spaces, and residents gathering public spaces. The proposed plans showed three types of standard housing unit plans and three modified housing unit plans to accommodate the changing life cycle of the family.

  • With the development of web, amount of information are generated in social web. Then many researchers are focused on the extracting and analyzing social issues from various social data. The proposed approach performed gathering the science data and analyzing with LDA algorithm. It generated the clusters which represent the social topics related to 'health'. As a result, we could deduce the relationship between science data and social issues.

Locality-Sensitive Hashing for Data with Categorical and Numerical Attributes Using Dual Hashing

  • Locality-sensitive hashing techniques have been developed to efficiently handle nearest neighbor searches and similar pair identification problems for large volumes of high-dimensional data. This study proposes a locality-sensitive hashing method that can be applied to nearest neighbor search problems for data sets containing both numerical and categorical attributes. The proposed method makes use of dual hashing functions, where one function is dedicated to numerical attributes and the other to categorical attributes. The method consists of creating indexing structures for each of the dual hashing functions, gathering and combining the candidates sets, and thoroughly examining them to determine the nearest ones. The proposed method is examined for a few synthetic data sets, and results show that it improves performance in cases of large amounts of data with both numerical and categorical attributes.

Efficient Packet Transmission Mechanism for Multi-hop Wireless Sensor Networks (멀티-홉 무선 센서 네트워크에서 효율적인 패킷 전송 메커니즘)

  • In general, data packets from sensor nodes are transferred to the sink node in a wireless sensor networks. So many data packets are gathered around the sink node, resulting in significant packet collision and delay. In this paper, we propose an efficient packet transmission mechanism for multi-hop wireless sensor networks. The proposed mechanism is composed of two modes. One mode works between sink node and 1-hop nodes from sink. In this mode, data packets are transmitted in predefined time slots to reduce collisions. The other mode works between other nodes except sink node. In this mode, duplicated packets from neighbor nodes can be detected and dropped using some control signals. Our numerical analysis and simulation results show that our mechanism outperforms X-MAC and RI-MAC in terms of energy consumption and transmission delay.

  • "KoKeumDoSeoJipSeong" EuiBoo that is commonly known as 'EuiBooJeonRok' is a part of "HeumJeongKoKeumDoSeoJipSeong" which was published under Qing empire support and it has a significance in gathering all the results of eastern medicine until 18th century. It contained the best knowledge of the time and considered as the most precious book for two hundred years, but nowadays it is looked away in its value and use. We could prescribe the historical significance this classic medical book has and furthermore, embody the basic knowledge necessary for constructing database by studing compilation and editions. This is the significance the classic "DoSeoJipSeong" has and the significance of the digital EuiBooJipSeong which will be newly shown as a digital knowledge information system.
