  • Liposomes have been widely employed as biomembrane-mimetic system and drug-delivery system. In these applications, the low stability of liposomes has been the most serious problem. They have relatively short half-lives and easily lysed through interactions with biological components. This study was performed to investigate the effects of godulbaegi extracts on the fludity of phospholipid liposomes. We used dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine(DPPC) liposomes which make most stable liposomes among the other phosphatidylcholines. The thermograms of the DPPC liposomal bilayers incorporated with the hexane extract of godulbaegi(Ixeris sonchifolia H.) were obtained, and the enthalpy changes and the sizes of cooperative unit of the transition were calculated. The incorporation of the Ixeris sonchifolia H. into the liposomal bilayers effectively reduced the transition temperature at which the transition from gel state to liquid-crystalline state occurs, broadened the thermogram peaks, and reduced the ratio of van't Hoff to calorimetric enthalpies. These results indicate indicate that the godulbaegi extracts (Ixeris sonchifolia H.) have significant effects on the fluidity of biological membrance.

  • In this study, the carbonation characteristic of highly flowable HVFAC with silica fume content was reported. As results, it appeared that when the silica fume content was $10{\sim}20kg/m^3$, the fludity and dynamic stability were highly improved. And the carbonation coefficient increases exponentially with increasing silica fume content.

  • It is necessary for manufacturing the high flowing to use the fly-ash as binder of concrete, therefore, Quality of fly-ash is very important to the fluidity of high flowing concrete. In this study, it is comparing and investigating the fludity of high flowing concrete used some fly-ash which it's Ignition loss is 2.44, 4.90, 7.10%. As a result of this experimental study, Ignition loss of fly-ash effects the properties of high flowing concrete, such as air content, flowability, passability etc. but even if valve of ignition loss is upper the specification, properties of high flowing concrete such as setting and hardening time, compressive strength etc.

  • In the mixing proportion of high flowing concrete we have to use quantity of power such as cement and superplasticizer, and increase the proportion of fine aggregate more than that of plain concrete to increase flowability and segregation resistance. Therefore, the fresh state of high flowing concrete is largely affected by superplasticizer and change of grade the percentage of surface water. This study aims at development of self-filling up high flowing concrete without compaction, in case of using the fine aggregate of standard grade range, by examination on the influence of fresh state of high flowing concrete, and by understanding influence on various fluidity such as flowability, reinforcement passibility, fillingability, segregation resistance.

  • Microstructure of hypereutectic Al-17wt.% Si alloy, fabricated by mechanical stirring and by reheating at semi-solid state, was investigated by optical microscope. Flow behavior semi-solid metal also was investigated at diffentent mould temperatures 280$^{\circ}C$, 290$^{\circ}C$ and 300$^{\circ}C$. Size of silicon particles were increased over 100$\mu\textrm{m}$ during solidification as a result of stirring. It is considered as microstructural coarsening by bonding between neighbouring primary silion particles during stirring of slurry. In case of reheating at semi-solid state, however, primary silicon particle was not increased at size of 40$\mu\textrm{m}$ and nearly spherical aluminum solde particle also could be obtained uniformly in distribution. The fludity of Al-17wt.% Si alloys at semi-solid state was improved when solid fraction was 0.7 at mould temperature of 300$^{\circ}C$ than other conditions.

  • From the test results of the adsorption characteristics of AE admixture, it was shown that the adsorption of AE admixture on fly ash was mearly completed in 30 minutes and the higher was ignition loss, the larger the quantity of saturation adsorption. Because most of the ignition loss of the fly ash was due to the unburned carbon, it could be said that the unburned carbon is the main reason of reduction of air content in AE concrete. On the other hand, in the case of superplasticizer, the amount of saturation adsorption in fly ash was lower than in cement and the same result was obtained in the dispersive effect. But, when using superplasticizer in fly ash substituting concrete, the fludity in the concrete was not decreased.
