  • This study was conducted to confirm the meaning and essence of the interpersonal caring experience of nursing students who participated in an enneagram-based care intervention program. The subjects of the study were nine second-year students in the Department of Nursing at a university located in the region, and data were collected from April 25 to August 26, 2022, through interview records, statements, and reflection journals. The collected data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results, It appeared in three categories and 10 topic groups 'Recognition through sharing and listening', 'Acceptance through comfort and forgiveness', 'Praise and giving hope through participation and companionship in daily life', While writing a person care reflection journal, you can realize the meaning of care through critical reflection, understand the essence of the person care experience, and confirm the vivid person care experience, and develop the ability to care for people through in-depth reflection on personal experiences, feelings, and deep understanding. As this improved and internalized care, confidence in one's own ability to care increased. Therefore, it is believed that the experience of caring for people based on the Enneagram can be confirmed, the results can be used for learning, and it will be used as educational material to perform people care, contributing to the development of people care education.

  • This study is to understand the psychosocial experience in 'Cheonan Warship Incident Survivors'. The study question was how psychosocial experience in The Union of Family Bereaved by Cheonan Warship had been progressed. To answer this question 4 representers ofthe group and 2 reporters had been interviewed using a qualitative research method based on Phenomenology method. From this study the group's experience in had been revealed that they first crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. Second, they gathered their opinion together and assigned the roles to the members, and then, requested what they want responding reasonably. The families' love, the representers' quick judgements and decisions, and the embarrassment of the military and media for the dead, who had been abandoned for long and decayed under the cold ocean, made the national support and respectful treatment possible for the dead and the family. The results of study will be applicable for individuals and groups, who need social work service as an empowerment intervention approach and crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. The social worker's ability to anticipate, understand, and give therapeutic direction to the crisis reaction and the concerns of family members helps to bring around a successful crisis resolution. It is clear to us that wars, suicides, homicides in school settings, disaster and other events are providing unique challenges to social workers who are interested in learning more about the effects such events have on victims of traumatic events.

  • The study in this paper considers how high school students' attitudes toward and interest in mathematics could be promoted by conjoining the learning of ma thematics with the learning of social science topics. Survey instrument was dev eloped to measure student attitudes toward mathematics and social science subje cts and to evaluate student beliefs on learning mathematics embedded in social science topics. Data were collected from high school students in Korea by admi nistering pre- and post-tests: students were intervened with examples of math problems embedded in certain social contexts. The findings indicate that high sc hool students' experience of solving mathematics problems embedded in social c ontexts positively affects the promotion of their attitudes toward and beliefs on both mathematics and social science subjects.

  • e-Training focusing on the experience and practice accelerates actual-active learning and enforces the learning effects against the existing theory based education. The most typical hans-on training system is augmented reality. Especially, in the training field installed augmented reality system, the automobile maintenance trainee experiences effective training with the immediate information, which is indicating the location of parts and the procedure of repairing. The tracking is the core technology of the augmented reality system. The performance of augmented reality system depends on the tracking technology. Therefore, this paper suggests the tracking technology which is proper to the e-Training augmented reality service technology for the car mechanics.

  • PBL is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of problem solving. Marine engineer is the expert which supports the safe navigation and solves the problems could happen in independent situation as a ship. This study executed the fundamental study on the maritime training education for marine engineers using PBL. In this study, we conducted the survey on 56 students for 6 months using PBL in H university. The result showed the improvement on ability to solve the problems, interpersonal relationship, communication skill, synthetic thinking faculty and practical use of data but some students answered the complaint of the insufficient information and unacquainted learning method of PBL. This suggested the development and improvement plans for the maritime training education using PBL based on this fundamental study.

  • The purpose of this study is to categorize and analyze the communication competency of engineering undergraduates and to develop educational content in order to improve that. In this study, communication competency of engineering undergraduates was categorized into three areas: critical thinking, scientific communication, and media literacy. As a means to improve communication competency, the experience with and perception of writing were investigated. The communication competency of undergraduates needs to be improved overall. There is a high need for writing programs that enhance critical thinking oriented around practice. It suggests flipped learning based on smart education, E-community, problem-solving programs based on action learning, cooperative learning programs, reflection journals & portfolio, and collaborative writing programs as educational content. The results of this study can be used as basic data to design competency-based communication curriculum and practical applications for engineering undergraduates.

  • This study analyzes the competency model of the Learning Factory at TU Darmstadt, Germany, aiming to derive implications for developing competency-based curricula in South Korean universities. It proposes an integrated model that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, allowing for the transformation of existing knowledge into necessary competencies for task execution. Additionally, it advocates for a learner-centered approach that enhances active engagement in the learning process, empowering students to take charge of their education. By implementing this integrated and learner-centered model, students can develop the transformative competencies required for future societal demands. This approach is expected to act as a catalyst for advancing competency-based education within South Korea's higher education system, ultimately fostering a more effective and responsive educational environment.

  • The mainstream approaches to understand the characteristics of North Korean mathematics education focus on the comparative studies between South and North Korean mathematics curriculum and textbooks through literature analysis. These approaches make it possible to understand what is taught in mathematics class of North Korean school. But it is hard to find any information on how teachers teach mathematics and how students learn it. This study searches North Korean class environment, preparation for class, teaching and learning methods to understand mathematics class in North Korea as they really are. It is extremely difficult to make first-hand observations on North Korean class. Instead, this paper adopted interviews with teachers who have experience of teaching in North Korean school and now live in South Korea. By doing this, it is possible to get some understanding, although somewhat limited, the real aspects of North Korean mathematics class. As a result, there are distinct differences in the characteristics of North Korean mathematics class environment, preparation for class, teaching and learning methods, compared with South Korean.

  • In order to apply AI (Artificial Intelligence) in various industries, interest in algorithm selection is increasing. Algorithm selection is largely determined by the experience of a data scientist. However, in the case of an inexperienced data scientist, an algorithm is selected through meta-learning based on dataset characteristics. However, since the selection process is a black box, it was not possible to know on what basis the existing algorithm recommendation was derived. Accordingly, this study uses k-means cluster analysis to classify types according to data set characteristics, and to explore suitable classification algorithms and methods for resolving class imbalance. As a result of this study, four types were derived, and an appropriate class imbalance resolution method and classification algorithm were recommended according to the data set type.

  • The purpose of the study was to provide an educational environment for designing and producing virtual reality practice contents that can be used in semiconductor production lines and clean rooms. Through this process, the user can acquire practical knowledge through experiences close to reality, such as experiencing the main semiconductor solar cell manufacturing facilities as well as procedural knowledge before and after entering the clean room.. In particular, it provides users with an immersion experience close to reality by creating an environment for experiential content necessary for semiconductor and solar cell manufacturing processes and clean room entrance procedure experiential content, which is expected to improve education immersion, realism, cost, efficiency, and education satisfaction. Depending on the characteristics of Dangerous, Impossible, Counter-productive etc, immersive content makes learners immersed in the learning content, induces proactive/active learning, and embodies the learning content, resulting in positive results in the field of improving educational effectiveness.
