The purpose of this study was to find out the relationships between emotional labour and depressive symptoms among nurses in university hospitals. Subjects were 514 nurses working at three university hospitals in Daejeon City, and the survey was a structured self- administered questionnaire based from April 1 until May 31 2012. As a results, the level of depressive symptoms by the subjects emotional labour level was significantly higher in the group with higher total average points of the emotional labour than the lower group, As for the correlation between the level of depressive symptoms and emotional labour factors, the depressive symptoms points showed significant positive correlation with the total points of the emotional labour. As a result of hierarchical multiple regression, age, leisure time, coffee consumption, subjective health status, physical burden of work, sense of satisfaction at work, fit to the job and emotional labour were selected as significant variables and related variables effecting the level of depressive symptoms. These variables' descriptive power was 39.4%, especially, it can be seen that 11.0% descriptive power increased by putting the emotional labor variables. The results above imply that there is significant relation between emotional labor and depressive symptoms and various variables such as socio-demographic characteristics, health-related behavior factors and job-related factors. Also, it can be seen that the emotional labour and depressive symptoms showed significant positive correlation. Therefore, the development and implementation of a program to control emotional labor appropriately should be required for lowering the level of depressive symptoms.
The study, was conducted to become conscious of the impact of emotional labour on dental hygienists' self-esteem with job stress. Participants were 205 dental hygienist's in the dental clinic. Data were gathered from Jan 3 to Jan 30, 2016, using structured questionnaires. The analysis shows that there was a negative correlation with self-esteem in emotional labour, however, positive correlation was presented in employment stress. It also appears to have no relationship between self-esteem and job stress. Therefore, emotional labour has a direct effect on increasing job stress and lowers self-esteem. The lowered self-esteem simultaneously has an indirect effect on increasing job stress. The measures to counter the problems of emotional labour of dental hygienist and education considering dental hygenist's self-esteem should be accomplished place to maintain the level of emotional labour and the clinic's determination to rectify the issues are essential.
Most of employees in service area frequently and strongly experience job-stress caused by emotional labour than in general. This job-stress is supposed to incur employees' burn-out, which burn-out brings a lower service quality in various aspects of physical and spiritual hospitality. The purpose of this study is to identify the impacts of burn-out on emotional labour of hair designer, with 155 primary data from a sample of 200 employees of hair shop in Seoul and Gyeongnam area. The reliability and validity of the collected data were checked through the calculation of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and factor analysis. The empirical research made by regression analysis confirms that emotional labour significantly has a negative effect on burn-out of hair designer. Therefore, hypothesis presented to mediate the effect of burn-out on emotional labour of hair designer was supported in positive. Hopefully, this study contributes to hair business shops for setting up a management strategy on effective job-satisfaction of hair designer.

As a result, the emotional labour, depressive symptoms and presenteeism experienced by the research subjects had a deep relation to many variables like socio-demographic characteristics, health-related factors and job-related factors. Especially, presenteeism showed a meaningful positive correlation with depressive symptoms and emotional labour factors. According to the result of a hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the meaningful variables related to presenteeism were age, the amount of a physical burden, the level of depressive symptoms, the surface action of an emotional labour. Therefore, to lower down the counselors' presenteeism, the development and implement of a mental healthcare program to control not only depressive symptoms and the level of an emotional labour is urgently needed.
This study aims to confirm whether both the emotional labour and job stress contribute to the turnover intention of infant teacher. The correlation analysis and parametric analysis were sequentially performed for our study. Analyzed results showed that the emotional labour was related to the job stress and turnover. Also, a statistical significance between the job stress and turnover intention was observed. Besides, the job stress partially mediated the relation between the emotional labour and turnover intention. Nsidering that the emotional labor of teacher caring or lived with infants occurred inevitably, our study proposed three approaches to reduce the job stress that partially mediated relation between the emotional labour and turnover intention. Generally, the infant teacher with excellent qualification produced the good education. Therefore, we suggested that the it was necessary that a work environment had been improved and working motivation was ameliorated to employ the infant teacher with excellent qualification.

The number of subjects consisted of 82 postpartum women who had delivered within 12 hours and for whom there were no complications either for the mothers or for the newborns. Data collection was done with a structured questionnaire which was analyzed using frequencies and percentiles. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Most of subjects (90.2%) wanted their family to participate in the labour process. Husband were chosen as the primary participant(79.3%). The number of subjects who wanted their family to support them through the whole labour process (35.4%) was the highest, followed by, during labour(32.9%), as contrasted to, during delivery (1.2%). 2. Support from husband during pregnancy ranged from 55.6%-87.6% for all items. Primary support was from husband during the pregnancy. 3. The subjects wanted support from their families in labour by way of encouraging(84.1%), consolidating(81.7%), changing position(43.9%), maintaining relaxation(35.4%) and helping with respiration control (29.3%). The results showed higher support on the emotional level than the physical and informational level (26.8%). 4. The subjects answered that they expected that participation by their family during the labour process would have the effect of increasing security for the women in labour(79.3%), providing a better relationship between the family and the women in labour (57.3%) and the newborns(34.1%), and making for an easier labour courses (23.2%). 5. The priority of family members that the subjects wanted support from was, the husband, mother and mother-in-law in that order. It can be concluded that nurses help to maintain a management policy in the maternity setting which ignores the needs of the women in labour. If consideration is to be given to these subjects, future programs should include participation by the family in the labour process.
