파워테일게이트의 DC모터구동회로에 적용된 EMI 저감기법에 대한 연구 (Study of EMI Suppression Method Applied on DC Motor Driver of Power Tail Gate)

  • This paper presents electromagnetic interference(EMI) suppression method applied on the direct current(DC) motor driver for power tail gate control. EMI noise is generated by the fast switching of power devices connected to electric loads. It has become a matter of concern because of the vast increase in the number and sophistication of electronic system in automotive environment. The proposed EMI reduction method is based on the principle of reducing the transient speed of power devices by changing the parameters of the driver circuit related to the power MOSFET. In this paper, power losses were calculated by loss equations and thermal simulation was used to evaluate the effect on printed circuit board. Based on these results, the DC motor driver was fabricated and tested. The proposed method can help to design a DC motor driver which allows it to obtain an acceptable compromise between power losses and EMI.

  • This paper presents a lateral driver model with neuromuscular system to evaluate the performance of electric power steering (EPS). Output of most previously developed driver models is steering angle. However, in order to evaluate EPS system, driver model which results in steering torque output is needed. The proposed lateral driver model mainly consists of 2 parts: desired steering angle calculation and conversion of steering angle into steering torque. Desired steering angle calculation part results in steering angle to track desired yaw rate for path tracking. Conversion of steering angle into torque is consideration with neuromuscular system. The proposed driver model is investigated via actual driving data. Compared to other algorithms, the proposed algorithm shows similar pattern of steering angle with human driver. The proposed driver can be utilized to efficiently evaluate EPS system in simulation level.

  • SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor)은 향후 전기자동차의 구동모터로서 주목을 받고 있다. 기존 SRM 드라이버를 AUTOSAR CDD(Complex Device Driver)로 재사용될 때, ISO 26262 간섭 배제(Freedom of Interference) 원칙을 충족해야한다. 따라서 본 연구에서 AUTOSAR CDD SRM 드라이버의 간섭 배제기법을 제시한다.

  • This paper introduces a CMOS clock driver that shows a high efficiency of electric power (lower power consumption) with the supply of lower voltage(VDD), by taking advantage of charge recycling technology. Comparing with the existing structure, this driver showed the improved maximum efficiency of electric power; 72% and 68%, with the supplied voltage of 1.8v and 1.2v, respectively. Since the output waveform shows the tri-state operating region, utilization is expected in the digital integrated circuits.

  • High speed on-off electro-magnetic valves have been used for pressure control or flow control in automotive or construction machine servomechanisms. These systems require quicker valve switching speed to improve control preciseness. The authors designed and manufactured an electric valve driver with quick response characteristics by using 3 power source type valve driver concept. In experiments by using a hydraulic system incorporating the new valve driver, the new driver shortened the switching lag time from 5 ms to 1.3 ms. And also the new driver showed excellent position tracking control performances.

Prototype의 새로운 Electric Power Steering (EPS) System의 개발 (Development of a Prototype New Electric Power Steering (EPS) System)

  • This study proposes and validates a new column type electric power steering system (EPS-TT). It is driven by a uni-directional motor and two electro-magnetic clutches. The assist motor produces assist torque in only one direction and two clutches transmit the torque to the column of steering system in either left or right direction with respect to the steering input. A full order and a reduced order models are developed to evaluate the EPS-TT. Models are also used to investigate the vehicle responses. A PID control logic is designed to control the torque of the assist motor. A driver model is applied to the system and the resulting performances are analyzed. The results show that the performances of the full order model are similar to those of reduced order model. The results also prove that the performances achieved by the EPS-TT are improved compared to those of a conventional EPS-TT across the frequency domain.

  • Blade pitch control system monitors and adjusts angle of the blades and controls rotation speed of blades. This paper shows 2MW pitch system hardware and electric part. Blade pitch system consists of pitch drive, gear box, motor and energy storage. Fieldbus is base on CANopen protocol. Fail-Safe system moves the blades to a safety position in case of any fault condition. The super capacitor energy storage provides emergency back up to the Pitch servo driver during feathering the blades. This paper studied Blade pitch servo driver and a bi-directional DC-DC converter for fail-safe system.

  • 전동공구는 동력원인 모터를 이용하여 각종 구조물을 제조 가공하는데 사용되는 공구로 전기를 동력원으로 한 모터를 사용하여 감속장치, 동력전달 및 변환장치 기능을 내장시켜 도구에 회전, 왕복, 진동 운동을 시킴으로써 사용자의 동작기술을 보조하는 역할을 하도록 한 공작용 도구이다. 우리나라의 경우 전동공구 산업은 역사가 짧아서 독일이나 미국, 일본 등 선진국에 비하여 기술수준과 시장 점유율, 인지도 등이 뒤떨어지고 있다. 또한 국내에서 사용되는 전동 Driver는 미국, 유럽 나라의 해외제품으로 국내시장 또한 100% 해외업체 것을 선호하며 다국적 기업들이 국내 시장에 많은 투자를 하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 국내 기술개발과 지속적으로 높은 시장점유율을 확보하기 위해서는 기술적인 개발이 뒤따라야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전동공구의 기본요구 성능에 맞춰 모터의 성능, 소형화, 고속도의 고출력 성능을 가지는 전동기 Driver를 설계하여 최종적으로 산업용 및 의료용에 적용할 수 있는 개발품을 연구하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

SiC MOSFET기반 200kW급 전기차 구동용 모터드라이버 개발 (Development of 200kW class electric vehicle traction motor driver based on SiC MOSFET)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 출시되어 있는 전기차의 구동모터 사양을 대부분 포괄하는 200kW급 구동용 모터드라이버를 개발하였다. 고효율ㆍ고전력밀도를 달성하기 위해 기존 전력반도체(Insulated-gate bipolar transistor, IGBT)대신에 차세대 전력반도체(Silicon carbide, SiC)를 적용하였으며 SiC를 최적사용하기 위해 하드웨어에 대한 분석을 통해, 예상되는 효율 및 방열특성을 구하여 최적 설계를 하였다. 전기차 구동모터에 대부분 활용되는 매입형 영구자석 동기모터(Interior permanent-magnet synchronous machine, IPMSM)를 위한 벡터 제어 알고리즘을 DSP를 활용하여 구현하였다. 본 논문에서는 SiC기반 전기차 구동용 모터드라이버 시작품을 설계ㆍ제작하였으며 실험을 통해 성능을 검증하였다.

  • This paper deals with the dynamic characteristic analysis of Linear Oscillatory Actuator (LOA) considering Sine Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) method with H-bridge driver. The input current shape obtained by the driver has great influence on the driving performance of LOA. Therefore, according to the various current shapes, the analysis is achieved by using the combined equation between kinetic and electric circuit equation. Moreover, the parameters in the electric circuit equation are accurately estimated by using FEM.
