In this paper, EVMS procedure for KHP program is presented. Research and development of a defense system as a long lead program has a high probability of cost growth due to the uncertainty and risk. Therefore, meeting schedule, technical performance and preventing excessive cost overrun are the main concerning point to successful research and development program. EVMS(Earned Value Management System) is a program management system using earned value to control cost, schedule and technical performance. In order to control cost and schedule and to meet technical performance requirements of the KHP research and development program, it is necessary for us to adapt EVMS to the program.

It was few to the integrated information classification system In domestic construction. Furthermore, it became considerable obstacles to hamper the increase of national competitiveness as well the hoarding of information and overlapped investment. The standardization of information classification is also necessary prior to the Computer-Integrated Construction, CALS(Continuous Acquisition & Life-cycle Support/Electronic Commerce) in construction, EVMS(Earned Value Management System) and the various projects which manipulate construction information. Therefore, this report suggests the development direction and application proposal of Integrated Construction Information Classification.

Naval ships are complex weapon systems which play the integrated performance by system integration of many kinds of weapon systems and their leading ships are usually not disposed after test and evaluation but militarised. Then, strict project management is required for naval ship building projects by identifying problems early and by taking prefer measures in time against unexpected situations encountered in the process of the projects. EVMS is a project management system which can manage the schedule and the budget of a project concurrently and estimate the project's time duration and the cost at project completion. In this paper, the applicability and usefulness of WMS is studied for a assumed navai ship building project, in the environment of monetary fluctuations such as price index, wage increase rate and exchange rate.

Cost, schedule, and quality are the three major performance indicators for any construction project. Under the globalized competition in the nuclear industry, researchers and practitioners have also explored a systemized and integrated management system for cost, schedule, and quality. In order to address this issue, the concept of earned value management system (EVMS) has been often utilized. However, implementing EVMS for a mega-project of nuclear power plant (NPP) construction requires extensive overhead efforts. Though previous studies proposed structures and methods for effective NPP EVMS, there has been no legitimate study for data collection strategy for practical implementation. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to develop an effective data collection strategy for NPP EVMS. Firstly, the barriers to practical NPP EVMS were identified based on literature review and expert interviews. Strategies for data collection were then developed based on different phases of project life cycle. This study focuses on the 'life-cycle integrated progress management system' for NPP construction from an owner's perspective Therefore, results of this study can be used as a guide for preparing request for proposals (RFP) of an NPP owner organization.

The EAC(Estimate at Completion) among existing methods, which estimate cost and time effectively, help managers anticipate changeable several results at the point of $15{\sim}30%$ in the project progress. However, this method may cause such some problems as not to consider the periodically changing circumstances caused by construction risks or uncertainties which can affect the cost and time in the project, and to regard collected and accumulated data only as a single value when predicting the results on the progress. Accordingly, it is very difficult to accept the even small range of variability based on the anticipation of EAC. Consequently, the study focuses on the possibility methodology to anticipate time and cost accurately on the way to utilize EVMS(Earned Value Management System), and also suggest the way to perform the right estimation of EAC as considering various risks and uncertainties in construction projects.

A study on the probabilistic methodology for the estimation of the remaining life of Pressurized pipelines containing active corrosion defects is presented. This reliability assessment is earned out using extream value distribution of the corroded defects instead of already published failure perssure moded like NG18 or ASME B31G. The failure probability of pipelines depends on the number of corroded defects. and it could be calculated directly as the area exceeded a defined L V(Limited Value of corrosion depth). The remaining life of pressurized pipelines can also be estimated by the PDF of extream value distribution as calculating the exceeded area with a defined failure probability.

In the construction industry, IT has been an alternative for the enhancement of productivity and technical advances through a paradigm shift. While it has been recognized that the IT system will have a substantial influence on the industry, a quantitative valuation has been very limited. This paper has chosen EVMS (Earned Value Management System), which supports the integrated management of cost and schedule by utilizing IT tools, and which is the largest trend in the construction IT industry in Korea, in order to suggest an analysis model for the valuation of IT. The CVM (Contingent Valuation Method) is used to quantitatively measure intangible value of IT application. Then, a valuation and analysis model were suggested for the quantitative valuation of the effect of IT adoption. In terms of willingness to pay for EVMS, the expected benefits from the adoption of EVMS were US$ 584.52 per man annually. This research should be helpful for construction companies evaluating their investment to Project Management Information System.
