This paper presents an efficient reengineering technique for the logistics process innovation which is the foundation of supply-chain management. Based on consulting experience on the domestic manufacturing firms, this paper provides promotion step for logistics innovation and six reengineering points including check system for customer's credit limit, check system of real-time inventory information, automatic system for sequential production plan, automatic order-release system, automatic packing system, and happy-call system for order-forward information. For each reengineering point, application cases in domestic industry are also presented.

Recently, the demand regarding reliability and safety of the railroad are increased as built to Driverless LRT system. Therefore, PM and SE technique is applied for efficient management of a construction business. In case of SE(System Engineering) in domestic, most foreign companies are doing to lead but we are under effort for the environment that a domestic company can lead. In this study, We emphasize to SE importance of pre-business for operation to be effective of Driveless LRT system, and propose about activities in the SE at requirements definitions and requirements analysis steps of a highest level. To achieve this, We propose SE Application Methods of Pre-Business regarding assistance process of project planning, evaluation and control, and risk management.

Introduction of PLM in domestic shipyards is being retarded as ship PLM has yet to firm up return of investment and process integration. To implement a ship PLM system, it is required to share ship CAD model data in various design and manufacturing environments. Lightweight CAD models provide a promising solution for sharing CAD models in the product life cycle, which can expedite implementation of ship PLM in domestic shipyards in the near future. Compared to proprietary CAD models, it is easy for lightweight CAD models to be interfaced with various application systems and be connected to manufacturing information. In this paper, the reason why lightweight CAD models are necessary to implement a ship PLM system is addressed and current implementation results are introduced.

The purposes of this study were to compare and analyze application cases of POP(Point of Purchase) in each ISM(In Store Merchandising) for domestic and imported cosmetics. to present basic data for setting up effective marketing strategies according to types of ISM. The results were as follows : 1. In the Department Stores, counselling comers for customers were located at all domestic and imported cosmetics. A small quantify of new release cosmetic items were displayed in order to elevate those added value in most cosmetics floors excepts Estee Lauder. 2. In the Discount Stores, most cosmetic items were displayed in category or in color for customers to choose those easily. 3. In the Cosmetics Specialties. display for show case couldn't be accessible by customers and cosmetic items were disordered because too many itmes from various companies were displayed

The objective of this study is to propose effective application of PMIS through analysis of barriers at the development of PMIS. To achieve these objectives, this study 1)analyzes the prior theory about PMIS, 2)performs a case study to embody the problems and barriers of the PMIS in the domestic construction industry, and 3)proposes improvement plans for supporting PMIS by analyzing the results of case study and interviewing experts. And the expectancies of this study are that it can be used as efficient data for improvement of system to systematize contents of PMIS in the domestic construction industry.

Toyota Production System (TPS) has been known a new production paradigm applicable to every type of manufacturing industry, not restricted to automobile assembly system. The basic framework of TPS has been studied and presented actively; many enterprises from all over the world including some of large domestic companies, have adopted and applied. This study analyzed the cases for TPS introduction and application process of LG Electronics and SAMSUNG Electronics, Semiconductor Division. On a different areas of business items, different strategic approaches are developed and implemented on a two comparable domestic companies. Key success factors for two companies are analysed, and some issues are also discussed.

In this study, potential Communication Satellite Application Services (CSASs) that are suitable for our communication environment have been identified through a detailed analysis of the CSASs offered in advanced countries. The existing demand forecast based on the defined CSAS category has been improved, and the transponder assignment policy has also been recommended. Managerial problems rather than technical ones for KOREASAT project have mainly been addressed and tackled in this study. For the successful implementation of the domestic communication satellite system, these two problems should be solved simultaneously. Therefore, future research that includes technical as well as managerial issues is expected to come out soon.
