  • This article described relations between knowledge contents for culture contents. Knowledge contents include academic article, research report, digital replica for old books and digital cultural heritages with a high level of abstraction and complexity. The process of digitalization sets up the clearinghouse for information and knowledge of humanities which can be a critical resource for cultural contents development. Knowledge contents are deliverable of knowledge-information hierarchies. The knowledgeinformation resource management plan doing by Korean Studies Advancement Center shows the most of the hierarchies. As a result, this paper shows that the process of knowledge-information development and the process of cultural contents development are in a series of continuous process. With the help of information technology.

  • Digital watermarking is a technique to insert a visually imperceptible information into an image so that the information can be extracted for the purposes of ownership verification or authentication. And watermarking techniques can be classified as either fragile or robust. Robust watermarks are useful for copyright and ownership assertion purposes. They cannot be easily removed and should resist common image manipulation procedures such as rotation, scaling, cropping, etc. On the other hand, fragile watermarks are easily corrupted by any image processing procedure, it can detect any change to an image as well as localizing the areas that have been changed. In this paper, we propose a fragile watermarking algorithm using a special hierarchical structure for integrity verification of image and detection of manipulated location. In the proposed method, the image to be watermarked is divided into blocks in a multi-level hierarchy and calculating block digital signatures in this hierarchy. The proposed method thwarts the cut-and-paste attack and the experimental results to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • This study aims to review previous research on the key elements of an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) and establish their priorities in order to help relevant stakeholders build and invigorate an ecosystem that integrates blockchain technology with the digital content industry. To achieve this goal, we first structured the key elements identified from previous studies into a hierarchy model. We then assigned weighted values to each element using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology. Among the main elements, the priorities were identified as follows, from most important to least: Business (0.422) > Technology (0.172) > Contents (0.144) > Human Resources (0.104) > Institutions (0.099) > Token (0.059). With regard to the sub-elements, the weighted values were found to be as follows, in descending order: Probability (0.162) > Laws and Regulations (0.071) > Estimated Growth (0.063). The implications of the results are also described within the present study. The findings of this study will be of great value to ICO founders as well as investors and provide a much-needed academic basis for the burgeoning blockchain-integrated ecosystems and businesses.

  • The goal of this study is to generate a landslide potential map using GIS(Geographic Information System) based method. A simple and efficient algorithm is proposed to generate a landslide potentialities map from DEM(Digital Elevation Model) and existing maps. The categories of controlling factors for landslides, aspect of slope, soil, vegetation are defined. The weight value for landslide potentialities is calculated from AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. Slope and Slope-direction is extracted from DEM, and soil information is extracted from digital soil map. Also, vegetation information is extracted from digital vegetation map. Finally, as overlaying, landslide potentialities map is made out, and it is compared with landslide place.

  • , Korea's popular television comedy program cast the strategy of making fun by word game interweaving meaning and nonmeaning and started to making fun by narrative game. So called Digital Narrative strategy seems to reflect the changes of social trends. Getting verisimilitude by detail description, parody realism, hierarchy of word body naked, anxiety for influence or star cameo seems to be principal strategy. With a minute realism strategy, new method of making meaning appropriate to digital era seems to appear.

  • Local culture is a cultural heritage that has come down from generation to generation in the natural environment of a region. It includes history, tradition, natural features, art, and historic relics. The Academy of Korean Studies has complied "The Encyclopedia of Korean Local Culture" using those local culture contents. Local culture content shave the features of documentary, such as authenticating the source, and managing hierarchy structure. Thus, to deal with local culture contents, a "circular knowledge information management system" is sought for that helps basic, fragmentary, and high-level information to circulate to create new knowledge information within the system. A user of this circular knowledge information management system is able not only to collect data directly in it, but also to fetch data from other database. Besides, processing the collected data helps to create new knowledge information. But, it's very difficult to sustain the features of the original hierarchy bearing meaning contained in the various kinds of local culture contents when building a new database. Moreover, this kind of work needs many times of correction over a long period of time. Therefore, a system in which compilation, correction, and service can be done simultaneously is needed. Therefore, in this study, focusing on the case of "The Encyclopedia of Korean Local Culture", I propose a XML-based digital compilation management system that can express hierarchy information and sustain the semantic features of the local culture contents containing lots of ancient documents, and introduce the expanded functions developed to manage contents in the system.

  • The rapid growth of information and communication technologies prompted the need for developing the strategic implementation framework of IT/ICT programs in universities. Here, we propose a strategic framework for the development of the IT/ICT programs in the universities of the province of Mazandaran in Iran. We use the SWOT analysis to assist the formulation of the strategy, where the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to weigh the SWOT factors and the fuzzy TOPSIS is used to evaluate the strategic plans. Based on Iran and Mazandaran Digital Indices (DI) and considering the SWOT matrix, four strategies are identified. Finally, an analytical concept, namely the strategy shooting, is considered to show the role of SWOT factors and strategic plans on the performance of the system.

  • For frame synchronization in synchronous multiplexer based on SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy), pointer justification mechanism (opinter adjustment) to compensate small frequency differences between the received uline clock and local clock is sed. But these pointer adjustment will introduce jitter onto tributary signal. This paper presents the bit leaking method to reduce those jitter to a level compatible with existing specification, where the simulation shows that this method reduces pointer adjustment jitter.

  • With an increasing awareness of information security, the market demand for better information security goods and services causes shortage in well trained information security manpower. This study analyzes the priorities of the options available to the qualitative information security manpower training policy. The analysis is conducted through four hierarchies: goals, criteria, sub-criteria and alternatives for each of which priorities are developed through the rating approach of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). 3 criteria and 8 sub-criteria are involved in the four hierarchies. The analysis result indicates that the fundamental information security technology is the most desirable.

  • 인터넷의 폭발적인 성장으로 인하여 MAN(Metropolitan Area Network)은 기존 음성 트래픽 전송 중심의 SONET/SDH(Synchronous Optical NETwork/Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) 환경에서 데이터 트래픽을 수용 할 수 있는 MSPP(MultiService Provisioning Platform) 환경으로 변해가고 있다. 이러한 네트워크 환경에서 이종 망간의 스위칭 역할을 수행하는 NG-SDH장비는 각 망간의 OAM을 제공하기 위해 OAM(Operation/Administration/Maintenance)신호에 대한 IWF(InterWorking Function) 기능을 필요로 하게 된다.
