차동 임피던스 분석을 사용한 SATA 커넥터의 신호 전달 특성 개선 (Signal Transmission Properties Improvement of Serial Advanced Technology Attachment Connector Using Analysis of Differential Impedance)

  • 본 논문에서는 SATA(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) 커넥터의 차동 임피던스 계산 방법을 적용하여 설계 변경 방법을 제안하고 신호 전달 특성을 개선하였다. 3차원 FEM(Finite Elements Method) 전자기장(Electromagnetic Field) 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 SATA 커넥터의 차동 모드 S-파라미터를 계산하고, 신호 전달 특성을 분석한다. 차동 임피던스는 Odd mode 임피던스를 이용하여 계산되므로 인덕턴스, 커패시턴스, 상호 인덕턴스, 상호 커패시턴스 값이 필요하다. 따라서 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 SATA 커넥터의 각각의 값을 추출하여 차동 임피던스를 계산하였고, 이 값은 $107.3{\Omega}$으로 설계 사양을 만족하지 못하였다. 신호 전달 특성 개선을 위해서 SATA 커넥터의 핀을 $d_x$, $d_y$ 방향으로 설계 변경하고, 각 경우의 신호 전달특성과 차동 임피던스를 분석하였다. $d_y=0.1mm$의 경우에서 신호 전달 특성이 가장 우수하게 나타났고, 차동 임피던스가 $98.7{\Omega}$으로 정합되었다. 이때, 반사손실은 1.5 GHz에서 15 dB 개선되었다.

  • The multiresolution analysis for Legendre multiwavelets are given, anti-derivatives of Legendre multiwavelets are used for the numerical solution of differential equations, a special form of multilevel augmentation method algorithm is proposed to solve the disrete linear system efficiently, convergence rate of the Galerkin methods is given and numerical examples are presented.

  • In this paper, a novel noncoherent multiuser detector with diversity reception for a differentially encoded DS/CDMA signal in a frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel is proposed. The proposed receiver employs multipath decorrelator and decision feedback differential detector (DFDD) with diversity reception. DFDD performs differential encoding and diversity combining. The performance is obtained by analysis and simulation and it is sown that the proposed receiver outperforms conventional differential receiver with slight increase of complexity.

  • We show that selfadjoint operator extensions of minimal second order difference operators have only discrete spectrum when the odd order coefficient is unbounded but grows or decays according to specific conditions. Selfadjoint operator extensions of minimal differential operator under similar growth and decay conditions on the coefficients have a absolutely continuous spectrum of multiplicity one.

  • In allelic model X = ($\chi_1\chi$_2ㆍㆍㆍ, \chi_d$), M_f(t) = f(p(t)) - ${{\int^t}_0}\;Lf(p(t))ds$ is a P-martingale for diffusion operator L under the certain conditions. In this note, we can show existence and uniqueness of solution for stochastic differential equation and martingale problem associated with mean vector. Also, we examine that if the operator related to this martingale problem is connected with Markov processes under certain circumstance, then this operator must satisfy the maximum principle.

  • By strengthening dichotomy condition and weakening decay conditions, we show that a four term 2n-th order differential operator with unbounded coefficients is nonlimit-point. Using stringent conditions we show that the deficiency index of this operator is determined by the behaviour of the coefficients themselves. Similarly, we prove the absence of singular continuous spectrum and that the absolutely continuous spectrum has multiplicity two.

  • In this paper we present the differential geometric approach for the analysis and design of sliding modes in nonlinear variable structure feedback systems. We also design the robust controller for the nonlinear system using variable structure control theory on the basis of differential geometric methods and feedback linearization applying Min-Max control based on the Lyapunov second method. The robustness against parameter uncertainties for robot manipulators with flexible joint is considered. Simulation results are presented and show the advantage of the proposed nonlinear control method.

  • This paper reports the application study of the ground reinforement under a buried pipeline subjected to differential settlement via a finite element modelling. The Soil-reinforrement interaction helps to mimimize the differential settlement between the adjoining pipe segments. The settlement pattern and deformation slope of a pipeline have been evaluated for a boundary condition at the joint between a rigid structure and apipeline. The analysis results are compared for both non-reinforied and reinforced cases to measure the effectiveness of the soil reinforcement for restraining the settlement of the pipeline.

  • In this paper, we study the oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of a class of second order nonlinear differential inequality with perturbation and establish several theorems by using classification and analysis, which develop and generalize some known results.
