Success in new product development is vital to most industrial firms. In recent decades, a firm's new product strategy is incresinglyrecognized as an essential component of the total corporate plan in developing countries. In this research, 81 Korean manufacturing firms are examined to identify the relationships between a firm's product innovation stratege and the performance results with special emphasis on firm size in a developing country. First, a total of 8 strategy dimensions were identified, which constitute the specific elements of firm's innovation strategies. Two independent dimensions of performance were also identified and were found to be closely linked to the strategy adopted. Then, a categorization scheme is developed to distinguish firms according to their size, and proves useful in performance results might be altered for different company size. The findings generally suggest that a well-balanced new product program emphasizing both marketing and technological effort appropriately is needed to make the program successful. The different size of the company is found to call for somewhat different strategy dimensions to enhance the performance results.

The purpose of this study was to work out the strategies for developing the east coastal community-base resort activating the community economy. The results of this study were as follows; presented village unit resort development that secure unique community activity to seashore village inhabitants and offer natural rest space and recreation space to user for the idealest development direction. And presented space composition direction so that can develop nature rest ball such as nature walk road that introduce concept of "The street" in this resort development. Also, through belt style development, proposed resources between the seashore village that must share reciprocity.

The Purpose of this paper is to suggest sustainable strategies of the project for developing large-scale environment-friendly agricultural districts (LSEAD). This study used assessment 3 indicators, efficiency, impact and sustainability of environment-friendly agricultural certification area and farmers, management situations of crop-livestock circulation center, educations for environment-friendly farming, changes of farmer's income and so on. This project has contributed to develop environment- friendly agriculture and model of LSEAD. And for sustainable development of LSEAD, it is necessary to renovate crop-livestock circulation centers, promote organic farming of resource-circulation type, converse to non-pesticide or organic farming of low pesticide one, do active marketing activities, establish a governance system of business projects and so forth.

As the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology spreads to various industrial sectors, diversity in AI utilization rapidly increases, creating rich user experience. In addition, AI is required to solve various social problems through the use of public data. The spread of AI utilization across all sectors will continue, covering such industrial and public demands. This article examines the domestic and international trends in AI utilization technologies and establishes the direction of research and development (R&D), which is highly consistent with Korea's AI policy. ETRI, which leads AI's national R&D, has used its experience to establish AI R&D implementation strategies as well as technology roadmaps for the utilization of AI to improve individual quality of life, continuous growth in society, industrial innovation, and the solutions to public societal problems. In addition, it has derived tasks and implementation strategies for developing AI utilization technologies in 10 major areas including medical services.

본 논문은 재난통신 시스템을 실제적으로 활용하기 위해 반드시 필요한 표준운영절차(SOP)를 개발하기 위한 방법론과 전략들을 제시하고자 한다. 따라서 재난안전통신망의 SOP와 연계되는 다양한 요소들을 규명하고 특성을 분석하였고, 이를 기반으로 SOP의 효과적인 개발을 위한 프로세스와 전략을 개발하여 제시하였다. 아울러 개발되는 SOP를 재난안전통신망 구현 기술인 LTE에 반영하여 무선자원 할당의 토대가 되는 우선순위와 QoS가 어떻게 운영되어야 하는지도 제시하였다.

The smart cities are evolving constantly and are responsible for the current transformation of cities and countries into a completely connected network of information and technology This interconnected network of a huge number of smart devices is capable of exchanging complex information and provides tremendous support including enhanced quality of life within urban locations. Unfortunately this set-up is vulnerable to security attacks and requires the widespread ubiquitous network to authorize access through privacy and thus offer security in order to ensure civilian participation in a country. The smart network should benefit the individuals of the country by developing potential strategies to protect the smart cities and their participating entities from the unauthorized attacks. Trustworthy data sharing strategies based on the utilization of advanced technology features via smart communication network could solve some issues of privacy and security. This paper presents the challenges and issues related to protection and highlights the important aspects of securing the smart cities and its components. It also presents the role of cloud security for building a secure smart city.

This paper reviews the most central analytical and methodological issues that arise in developing national STI strategies. First, an outline of the relationship between national innovation systems and the strategic dimension is presented. The paper shows that science, technology and innovation strategy are often used in different forms and that there is no common understanding yet of the actual meaning and coverage of these strategies. The paper develops the terminology from a discussion of different approaches towards company innovation processes analyzing their evolution in different socioeconomic environments and the role and impact of science, technology and innovation policy on company innovation processes. Based on this conceptual understanding the paper defines national science, technology, innovation, and STI strategy and explains the basic terminology. From these definitions, the strategic dimension including the impact on the stakeholders is discussed. It is shown that a major success factor for STI strategy development is the involvement of stakeholders to vary and extend their use of their portfolio of instruments. Moreover it becomes evident that stakeholders follow their own interests which aren't necessarily in the interest of the national STI strategies. The analysis shows advantages and disadvantages as well as potentials and limitations of different approaches to develop STI strategies in their ability to describe the reality of innovation processes and to allow conclusions about the relationship between innovation policy and the innovation processes implemented by companies. It is shown that knowledge of these limitations is an important factor to consider in designing consistent and coherent national STI policy which aims at supporting innovation eventually. Finally the paper concludes that the STI policy mix concept needs a more systemic development approach which is integrated in the national STI strategy development and implementation.

본 연구의 목적은 문제 해결력을 신장시키기 위해 해결 전략과 각 전략별 문제의 유형을 살펴보고, 전략 지도를 위한 구체적인 방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 전략의 지도 계열은 사용하기 쉬운 전략부터 사용하기 어려운 전략의 차례로, 또 전략 습득에 소요되는 시간이 적은 것부터 많은 것의 차례로 지도하는 것이 바람직하다. 또한, 전략의 습득 지도를 위한 문제는 그 전략의 간편함과 우수함을 알 수 있어야 하고 기존의 지식과 기능으로 해결할 수 있어야 하며, 학생들이 흥미를 느낄 수 있는 문제가 제시되어야 할 것이다. 그리고, 전략의 응용 및 심화ㆍ발전시키기 위해서는 동일한 문제를 여러 가지 전략을 이용하여 해결한 후 각 전략의 특성을 분석ㆍ비교해 보는 기회가 필요하며, 좀 더 복잡한 문제 장면으로 확대ㆍ적용해 보는 기회가 필요하다.

Purpose: This study was conducted to find out the effects of self-efficacy on job stress symptoms and coping strategies depending on perceived job stress. Method: The subjects were 447 workers employed in a manufacturing company. Demographic characteristics, self-efficacy, job stress, job stress symptoms and coping strategies were assessed by a self-administered questionnaire. Each envelope to keep the secret sealed completed questionnaires. Result: Job stress and job stress symptoms in workers with a high level of self-efficacy were lower than those of a low level of self-efficacy. Active coping strategies in workers with a high level of self-efficacy group were higher than those of a low level of self-efficacy. In multiple regression analysis, job stress symptoms were significantly higher in increasing job stress, increasing self-efficacy, office workers, manager group and increasing age. Active coping strategies were significantly higher in increasing self-efficacy, increasing career, males and decreasing job stress. Whereas passive coping strategies were significantly higher in females, increasing job stress and increasing self-efficacy. Conclusion: This study suggests that self-efficacy is a significant factor on job stress, job stress symptoms and coping strategies. Therefore, developing a job stress management program to increase self-efficacy and verifying its effects are needed.
