In this study, two types of thrust stand modeling were proposed for the design of a thrust stand using flexure. Type A model generate combined load for tangential (thrust) and axial compressive load (self weight). And type B generate combined load for tangential and axial tensile load. The research was done by comparing the influence of the load between the models through a 1D calculation and computational analysis. The 1D calculated value and the computational analysis value were compared for a total of 10 sections and the results were confirmed to be very similar. In order to prove the validity of the analysis results, the equivalent stress was confirmed from the computational analysis of the flexure, and the production of the Type B model was selected from the evaluation of the yield condition (Von-Mises Yield Criterion).

As mobile forensics has emerged as an essential technique, the demand for technology development, education and training is increasing, wherein images are used. Academic societies in South Korea and national institutions in the US and the UK are leading the Mobile Forensic Image development. However, compared with disks, images developed in a mobile environment are few cases and have less active research, causing a waste of time, money, and manpower. Mobile Forensic Images are also difficult to trust owing to insufficient verification processes. Additionally, in South Korea, there are legal issues involving the Telecommunications Business Act and the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information. Therefore, in this study, we requested a review of a standard model for the development of Mobile Forensic Image from experts and designed an 11-step development model. The steps of the model are as follows: a. setting of design directions, b. scenario design, c. selection of analysis techniques, d. review of legal issues, e. creation of virtual information, f. configuring system settings, g. performing imaging as per scenarios, h. Developing a checklist, i. internal verification, j. external verification, and k. confirmation of validity. Finally, we identified the differences between the mobile and disk environments and discussed the institutional efforts of South Korea. This study will also provide a guideline for the development of professional quality verification and proficiency tests as well as technology and talent-nurturing tools. We propose a method that can be used as a guide to secure pan-national trust in forensic examiners and tools. We expect this study to strengthen the mobile forensics capabilities of forensic examiners and researchers. This research will be used for the verification and evaluation of individuals and institutions, contributing to national security, eventually.

The robustness of a supply chain (i.e., the ability to cope with external and internal disruptions and disturbances) becomes more critical in ensuring the success of a construction project because the supply chain of today's construction project includes more and diverse suppliers. Previous studies indicate that topological features of the supply chain critically affect its robustness, but there is still a great challenge in characterizing and quantifying the impact of network topological features on its robustness. In this context, this study aims to identify network measures that characterize topological features of the supply chain and evaluate their impact on the robustness of the supply chain. Network centrality measures that are commonly used in assessing topological features in social network analysis are identified. Their validity in capturing the impact on the robustness of the supply chain was evaluated through an experiment using randomly generated networks and their simulations. Among those network centrality measures, the PageRank centrality and its standard deviation are found to have the strongest association with the robustness of the network, with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.6 at the node level and 0.74 at the network level. The findings in this study allows for the evaluation of the supply chain network's robustness based only on its topological design, thereby enabling practitioners to better design a robust supply chain and easily identify vulnerable links in their supply chains.

In this study, the radiation dose rates for the design basis fuel of 360 assemblies CANDU spent nuclear fuel transportation cask were evaluated, by measuring radiation source terms for the design basis fuel of a pressurized heavy water reactor. Additionally, radiological safety evaluation was carried out and the validity of the results was determined by radiological technical standards. To select the design basis fuel, which was the radiation source term for the spent fuel transportation cask, the design basis fuels from two spent fuel storage facilities were stored in a spent fuel transportation cask operating in Wolsung NPP. The design basis fuel for each transportation and storage system was based on the burnup of spent fuel, minimum cooling period, and time of transportation to the intermediate storage facility. A burnup of 7,800 MWD/MTU and a minimum cooling period of 6 years were set as the design basis fuel. The radiation source terms of the design basis fuel were evaluated using the ORIGEN-ARP computer module of SCALE computer code. The radiation shielding of the cask was evaluated using the MCNP6 computer code. In addition, the evaluation of the radiation dose rate outside the transport cask required by the technical standard was classified into normal and accident conditions. Thus, the maximum radiation dose rates calculated at the surface of the cask and at a point 2 m from the surface of the cask under normal transportation conditions were respectively 0.330 mSv·h-1 and 0.065 mSv·h-1. The maximum radiation dose rate 1 m from the surface of the cask under accident conditions was calculated as 0.321 mSv·h-1. Thus, it was confirmed that the spent fuel cask of the large capacity heavy water reactor had secured the radiation safety.
Internet GIS sites are currently being emersed as one of important places to acquire spatial information in stead of traditional paper map. This paper is intended to identify critical factors in evaluating internet GIS site quality. While there should be a considerable number and variety of factors associated with internet GIS site quality, this paper focuses on the site characteristics that generate visitor satisfaction. After carefully reviewing the previous literature of general website evaluation, four criteria that are critical to internet GIS site quality were identified: (1) contents (2) design (3) navigation (4) spatial analysis. An empirical study for a case study site has been conducted to confirm the validity for the four evaluation factors. A site diagnosis by the criteria provided many valuable information for Web site quality. For example, it was found that many symbols in the site made the visitors confusing and navigation interface was not very user-friendly to track required positional information due to inconsistency in terms of cartographic concept. The results indicate that the evaluation criteria may be used not only as a tool to evaluate internet GIS sites, but also as a checklist to improve the quality of a web site that is under development and requires remodelling. As a result, the research findings have established the new concept of ‘the quality assurance of the internet GIS site’, proposed as an initial aim of this paper Many of the issues unresolved in this project could be improved, based on the understanding of the four criteria suggested in this paper.
This paper proposes a design formulae that evaluates the design strength of T-joints made of cold-formed square hollow steel sections with longitudinal branch plate. The T-joints had a configuration that a branch member used to longitudinal plate to the main chord in the plane. This study focused on the branch plate T-joints governed by the main chord flange failure mode among the experimental results. Based on the test results of the longitudinal branch plate T-joint in the square hollow sections, the ultimate strength on the T-joints was defined as 1.5 times the load at 1% B the strength of joints that governed the serviceability in control for $16.7{\leq}2\gamma(B/T){\leq}31.3$ and $0.20{\leq}{\beta}(b1/B){\leq}0.75$. Existing yield line models for normal T-joints were investigated to be the main chord flange failure for the branch plate T-joint, and this proposal design formula was based on the theory of the yield line model. Finally, the value of the finite element method compared with the value of the test and theory for the T-joints verified the validity of the design formulae.

The purpose of this study is to develop and implement cooperative consumption education programs using design thinking in middle school home economics education classes to understand the impact on students' cooperative problem solving competency. Accordingly, a cooperative consumption education program based on design thinking was developed according to the ADDIE model, and the evaluation was conducted on a total of 25 students. The results of the study were as follows. First, based on prior research, we developed a consumption education program based on D. school's design thinking process under the theme of 'Creating a Shared School' for the practice of cooperative consumption. As a result of expert validity verification of the teaching/learning course plan and workbook for the eight sessions, the average question was 4.72 (out of 5 points) and the average CVI was 0.93, indicating that the content validity and field suitability were excellent. Second, to summarize the results achieved from the implementation of the cooperative consumption education program, the pre-/post-test using the revised and supplemented cooperative problem-solving competency tool, and the open-ended survey, It was confirmed that the developed program had a significant effect on improving not only the students' knowledge and perceived necessity for cooperative consumption along with the awareness of practice, but also the cooperative problem-solving competency. As a follow-up study, we propose to expand the research to a wider audience, and to further conduct research and develop programs applied with design thinking in home economics curriculum and in consumer competency development. This study confirmed that cooperative consumption education programs using design thinking are effective in improving youth's cooperative problem-solving competency and is meaningful in that they developed consumption education programs under the theme of 'cooperative consumption' in response to changing consumer education needs.

This study aims to select evaluation items that can be used in planning park creation to evaluate the proposal to solve the environmental and social problems in promoting private-initiated park development projects. To this end, evaluation items that can consider various aspects of the development project were selected, and the indicators' validity and appropriateness were carried out through an expert Focus Group Interview (FGI). Firstly, an expert FGI was performed for six major categories and 50 evaluation items derived from literature reviews and brainstorming. As a result, five major and 27 middle category items were selected. Based on the derived major and middle classification items, 95 detailed items were selected. Secondly, 55 sub-items were derived through a suitability questionnaire. As a result of the suitability survey, the average scores of the subcategories for the major categories of natural environment, function of parks, and use of land were relatively high. The average scores for environmental index items such as ecology/vegetation, topography and slope, landscape, park service, wildlife, wide-area ecosystem, and park items were high in the middle classification. The average score of indicators in the natural environment was relatively high, and the average score in the function of parks also soared. In the environmental impact assessment, the occurrence of plan change issues, including the reappraisal of the location, led to unclear detailed evaluation factors for the faithfulness of the plan and the appropriateness of the plan direction. This study is significant in that it is a study on the selection of evaluation items that can minimize the problem of plan alteration and achieve objective evaluation when promoting development projects. This study could be used to forward development projects in the future and evaluate long-term unexecuted urban parks.

A new indexing methodology so called KTH-index was developed to quantitatively evaluate a potential level for tunnel collapse hazard, which has been successfully applied to tunnel construction sites to date. In this study, an attempt is made to apply this methodology for validating an outcome of tunnel design by checking the variation of KTH-index along longitudinal tunnel section. In this KTH-index simulation, it is the most important to determine the input factors reasonably. The design factor and construction condition are set up based on the designed outcome. Uncertain ground conditions are arranged based on borehole test and electro-resistivity survey data. Two scenarios for ground conditions, best and worst scenarios, are set up. From this simulation, it is shown that this methodology could be successfully applied for providing quantitative validity of a tunnel design and also potential hazard factors which should be carefully monitored in construction stage. The hazard factors would affect sensitively the hazard level of the tunnel site under consideration.

This study proposed an estimation method of allowable wave height for loading and unloading of the ship and evaluation of effective working days considering moored ship motion that is affected by sip sizes, mooring conditions, wave periods and directions. The method was examined validity by comparison with wave field data at pier $8^{th}$ in Pohang New Harbor. The wave field data obtained with wave height of 0.10~0.75 m and wave period of 7~13 s in ship sizes of 800~35,000 ton when a downtimes have occurred. On the other hand, the results of allowable wave height for loading and unloading of the ship in this method have obtained with wave heights of 0.19~0.50 m and wave periods of 8~12 s for ship sizes of 5,000, 10,000 and 30,000 ton. Thus this method well reproduced the field data respond to various a ship sizes and wave periods. And the results of this in Korea are didn't respond to various the ship sizes and wave periods, and we h method tended to decrease in 16~62 percent when have considered long wave, and it is decreased in 0~46 percent when didn't consider long wave than design standards in case of the ship sizes of 5,000~30,000 ton, wave period of 12 s and wave angle of $75^{\circ}$. The allowable wave heights for loading and unloading of the ship proposed by design standards in Korea have found that overestimated on smaller than 10,000 ton. On the other hand, the rate of effective working days considering ship motion at pier $8^{th}$ in Pohang New Harbor reduced in 6.5 percent when compare with the results without considering ship motion.
