신장 이식 환자의 자기효능감, 대처 행동, 치료지시 이행에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-efficacy, Coping, and Compliance in Patients with Kidney Transplantation)

  • Purpose: The purpose was to examine the self-efficacy, coping, and compliance in patients with kidney transplantation. Methods: Participants consisted of 300 outpatients who underwent kidney transplantation and regularly visited hospital for health check-up. A tool developed by Ahn (2000) was used for measuring self-efficacy. A modified version of the Jalowiec Coping Scale (Jalowiec, 1987) by Hwang (2004) was used for measuring coping, and a tool developed by Ryu, Kim, and Kang (2003) was used for compliance. Data were analyzed using SPSS program version 21.0 ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Scheff$\acute{e}$'s test for post-hoc test. Results: Coping shows significant differences according to marital status and education. Coping was used more often among patients with ABO incompatible transplantation than those with ABO compatible. Differences in compliance were significant according to donor type, ABO incompatible, period after transplantation, and admission after the transplantation. The management of life style, stress, nutrition, and exercise in self-efficacy and compliance had lower scores than the others. Conclusion: There are significant correlations between self-efficacy, coping, and compliance in patients with kidney transplant which might be helpful for health care professionals in taking care of these population.

초등학생의 시험불안에 대한 학업적 자기효능감과 시험불안 대처방식의 상호작용효과 (The Interaction Effects on Test Anxiety of Elementary School Students by Academic Self-Efficacy and Test Anxiety Coping Styles)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the interaction effects of children's academic self-efficacy and to test their anxiety coping style in terms of their test anxiety. We conducted a questionnaire survey with 193 sixth-graders in an elementary school. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the children were more worried about emotionality to test anxiety, and used problem-focused coping significantly more frequently than emotion-focused coping. In addition, female children demonstrated more emotionality and worry about test anxiety and used emotion-focused coping for test anxiety more frequently. Second, emotionality was higher when emotion-focused coping was used. In the case where the level of problem-focused coping was high, emotionality was higher when academic self-efficacy was high. Children's worry was lower when the level of problem-focused coping was high and when the level of emotion-focused coping was low. In female children, however, worry increased when the level of problem-focused coping was low and the level of emotion-focused coping was high.

어린이집 교사의 창의적 인성이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향에서 스트레스 대처전략의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Stress-coping Strategies of Childcare Teachers' Creative Personality on Teacher Efficacy)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of stress-coping strategies of childcare teachers' creative personality on teacher efficacy. Methods: Study subjects were 204 childcare teachers working at nursery schools located in S city of Gyeonggi province, and this study collected materials from childcare teachers through a self-report survey. For materials collected, this study conducted frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using spss 21.0, and verified the mediating effect through the Sobel Test. Results of this study are as follows. Results: First, there was a positive correlation among creative personality, teacher efficacy and stress-coping strategies. Second, results show that stress-coping strategies mediate the effect of childcare teachers' creative personality on teacher efficacy. Lastly, problem-focused coping strategies turned out to be full mediation, whereas coping strategies seeking social support was partial mediation. Conclusion: Based on the results, this study suggested the necessity to prepare a practical plan for enabling childcare teachers to use stress-coping strategies in a successful way.

Gender Differences in Stress Levels and Coping Strategies in South Korea While Using Mobile Phones

  • This article examines gender differences in stress levels and coping strategies while using mobile phones. We constructed an e-mail survey to collect data from 1,000 adults in South Korea, and used latent means comparison and multi-group structural regression in structural equation modeling. It was determined that as compared to men, women were more vulnerable to stress. Regarding coping, women used all three coping strategies more equally than men, including active coping, expressive support seeking, and avoidance, whereas men mainly chose active coping; however, there were no significant gender differences in coping outcomes, and both women and men coped effectively by choosing their own personal strategies. We suggested how to reduce stress levels for women through enhancing their self-efficacy, as self-efficacy was shown to reduce stress levels specifically for women. Additionally, based on our findings, we proposed how both men and women could cope more effectively.

임상간호사의 소진에 직무스트레스, 대처, 자기효능감이 미치는 영향 (Influences of Job Stress, Coping, Self-efficacy on Burnout of Clinical Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the clinical nurses' burnout, job stress, coping, self-efficacy and to identify the factors that influence on burnout. A quantitative, descriptive design was used to study 140 clinical nurses in B and U city, recruited from June to July, 2012. The data were analyzed SPSS 20.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. The mean score for burnout was 2.28 points(range: 1-4). Burnout was significantly correlated with job stress, coping and self-efficacy. These variables accounted for 37.4% of burnout. Based on the results, the sorts of strategies to reduce the burnout are required by offering job stress, coping and self-efficacy management.

대학생의 성격요인과 스트레스 대처방식과의 관계에 대한 자기효능감의 매개효과 -신경증과 성실성을 중심으로- (The Mediation effect of Self-Efficacy on the Relationship between Personality Factors and Stress Coping Strategies in college students -Focus on Neuroticism and Conscientiousness-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 성격 5요인 중 신경증과 성실성, 스트레스 대처방식과의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 설정된 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성격요인과 스트레스 대처방식, 자기효능감의 관계는 어떠한지 분석하였다. 둘째, 성격 5요인 가운데 그 자체가 대학생의 정신건강을 의미하는 변인으로, 임상적 의미가 매우 높은 신경증과 성실성을 선정하여 신경증 및 성실성과 스트레스 대처방식과의 관계에서 자기효능감이 매개역할을 하는지 알아보았다. 이러한 연구문제를 검증하기 위하여 충청지역 D대학 1학년 462명을 대상으로 성격 5요인 척도, 스트레스 대처방식 척도, 자기효능감 척도를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 성격요인 중 신경증, 성실성과 자기효능감과의 상관 분석 결과 신경증과 자기효능감은 부적 상관을 나타내고, 성실성은 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 그리고 성격 5요인과 스트레스 대처방식을 살펴보면 성실성은 스트레스 대처방식 가운데 회피중심과 부적상관을 보였고, 신경증은 스트레스 대처방식 중 사회적지지, 문제해결중심과 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 성격요인 중 신경증, 성실성과 스트레스대처방식과의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석한 결과 자기효능감은 신경증 요인과 회피중심 간에 관계에서만 부분 매개효과가 있음을 나타냈다. 이러한 결과는 대학생의 스트레스 대처를 예측하기 위해 성격요인이 유용한 심리적 구인이라는 점과 특히 대학생의 정신건강의 예언변수인 신경증 요인과 스트레스 대처방식 가운데 회피성향을 갖고 있는 경우 정신적 스트레스를 줄이기 위해 자기효능감에 대한 교육적 중재의 필요성을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

암환아 부모의 질병에 대한 불확실성, 자기효능감 및 대처정도 (Uncertainty, Self-Efficacy & Coping in Parents′ of Children with Cancer)

  • Improvements in therapy have resulted in increasing numbers of children being successfully treated for cancer. However the agrressiveness of therapy & uncertainty about prognosis are associated with many adverse effects, psychological as well as physical for both the child & family. The purpose of this study were to measure the degree of perceived uncertainty, self-efficacy & coping, and then to examine the relationship between the perceived uncertainty, self-efficacy & coping in parents of children cancer patients. The subjects of this study consist of 140 parents with pediatric cancer, registered at pediatric cancer ward & Out Patient Department. Data was collected from July 1st to August 15th 1998. The tools used in this study were Mishel's the Parents' Perception of Uncertainty Scale (28 item, 4 likert scale), Shere's Self-Efficacy Scale (17 item, 5 likert scale) & Folkman & Lazarus Ways of Coping Checklist(34 items, 4 likert scale). Data was analyzed by t-test, Anova, Pearson Correlation coefficient. Results of this study are summerized as follows 1. Parents perceived their uncertainty to be slightly high(Mn 2.41). The degree of perceived uncertainty by the four components were followed as lack of clarity (2.60), unpredictability(2.59), ambiguity(2.51) & lack of information(1.90). The degree of perceived uncertainty of parents with pediatric cancer revealed to be influenced significantly by the family outcome, reliability about health care provider & perceived severity of illness. 2. The range of parents' self-efficacy was measured iron 35 to 85 point, so revealed slightly high. The degree of self-efficacy related to be Influenced signiicantly by the sequency of child birth, family religion & degree of perceived support. 3. The degree of parents' coping was measured slightly high (Mn 2.78). The degree of coping related to be influnced significantly by the sequency of child birth, number of sible & degree of perceived support. 4. parents' uncertainty was related inversely to the parents' self-efficacy(r=-.38, p<.001) & coping(r=-.26, p<.001). And also parents' self-efficacy was positively related to coping(r=.56, p<.001) From the above results, it can be concluded that predicting & controlling parents' uncertainty with children cancer are necessary to improve positive coping strategies. This information may be used as a foundation for developing nursing interventions to decrease perceived uncertainty & to foster self-efficacy & coping for parents with children cancer.

가정전문간호사의 의사소통 유형에 따른 주돌봄자의 자기효능감과 스트레스 대처방식 (Primary Caregivers' Self-Efficacy and Stress Coping Strategy According to Home Care Nurses' Communication Styles)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the difference between primary caregivers' self-efficacy and coping strategy according to the communication styles of home care nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 123 primary caregivers of patients who were registered at a home care nursing center in D city and who had been receiving home care for more than 3 months from January 1 to February 27, 2018. The questionnaire included items on communication style, self-efficacy, and stress coping strategy. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA. Results: Regarding primary caregivers' self-efficacy in terms of communication style, the caregivers showed higher efficacy in providing informative and friendly communication (F=14.07, p=.001). Regarding home care nurses' communication style and the stress coping strategy of the primary caregivers, the informative-friendly communication style was adopted the most for the problem-solving coping strategy (F=7.17, p=.001). Regarding the social support-seeking coping, home care nurses' friendly communication style was the most adopted (F=4.40, p=.014). Conclusion: This study suggests that home care nurses will plan to provide informative and friendly communication-oriented nursing care, and to improve self-efficacy and positively influence the coping method by using the communication styles appropriate to the state of the primary caregiver.

중학생의 부모 양육태도와 스트레스, 스트레스 대처 및 자아효능감의 관계 (Relationship Between Perceived Parental Rearing Attitudes, Stress, Stress-coping and Self-efficacy of Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to survey and examine the relationship of perceived parental rearing attitude, stress, stress-coping, and self-efficacy in middle school students. Methods: Data were collected 262 middle school students in the study. Descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficients were used to analyze the data. Results: The mean score for parenting attitude was 3.40 (5 scale), stress 2.36 (5 scale), stress-coping 2.12 (4 scale) and self-efficacy 2.46 (4 scale). There were a positive correlations between rearing attitude and self-efficacy (r=.141). There were a negative correlations between rearing attitude and stress (r=-.284). Conclusion: In order to promote self-efficacy and to decrease stress in middle school students, it is necessary to develop supporting intervention to develop parental rearing attitude.

실직자의 대처행동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Coping Behavior of the Unemployed)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine what sort of causes have the effect on the coping behavior of the unemployed against their job loss. For the purpose of the study, following independent variables have been selected, locus of control, self-efficacy and autotelic personality. As dependent variables, two types of coping behaviors of individual have been used, problem-focused coping strategies and symptom-focused coping strategies. To test the hypotheses, structural equation modeling was employed. The model showed adequate fit to the data. The results of structural equation modeling exhibit that internal locus of control, self-efficacy and autotelic personality were positively related problem-focused coping strategies. And self-efficacy was negatively related to symptom-focused coping strategies. Implications are discussed and future research directions are outlined.
