수증기 유량제어에 따른 피치계 활성탄소섬유 비표면적 특성에 대한 연구 (Study on the Manufacture and Characteristics of Pitch-Based Activated Carbon Fibers Using Steam Activation)

  • To produce activated carbon fibers, the process is carried out through either physical activation method or chemical activation method. In this study, we present the results regarding the characteristics of activated carbon fibers manufactured under various conditions through the quantitative control of steam. The yield after activation indicates a decreasing trend with the increase in steam quantity and activation time. Additionally, specific surface area characteristics exhibit variations based on activation time and steam flow rate. The SEM analysis results reveal that higher steam flow rates lead to the presence of both mesopores and macropores on the surface of activated carbon fibers (ACF).

휴리스틱에 의하여 개선된 반딧불이 알고리즘의 설계와 분석 (A Design and Analysis of Improved Firefly Algorithm Based on the Heuristic)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 Xin-She Yang에 의해 소개된 반딧불이 알고리즘(FA)에 휴리스틱을 적용하여 개선하는 방안을 제안한다. 또한 이를 위하여 기존의 FA를 이와 유사한 문제영역의 알고리즘인 Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)와 정확도 측면, 수렴 시간 측면, 각 입자의 움직임 측면에서 비교 분석한다. 비교 실험 결과, FA의 정확도는 PSO보다 나쁘지 않았지만, 수렴 속도는 느린 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문은 이에 대한 직관적인 원인을 고찰하고, 이를 극복하기 위해, 기존의 FA에 부분 돌연변이 휴리스틱을 적용하여 개선된 FA(Improved FA)를 제안한다. 벤치마크 함수들을 최적화 하는 비교 실험 결과, 개선된 FA가 PSO와 기존의 FA보다 정확도와 수렴속도 측면에서 우수함을 보이고자 한다.

딥러닝 알고리즘 기반의 초미세먼지(PM2.5) 예측 성능 비교 분석 (Comparison and analysis of prediction performance of fine particulate matter(PM2.5) based on deep learning algorithm)

  • 본 연구는 딥러닝(Deep Learning) 알고리즘 GAN 모델을 기반으로 초미세먼지(PM2.5) 인공지능 예측시스템을 개발한다. 실험 데이터는 시계열 축으로 생성된 온도, 습도, 풍속, 기압의 기상변화와 SO2, CO, O3, NO2, PM10와 같은 대기오염물질 농도와 밀접한 관련이 있다. 데이터 특성상, 현재시간 농도가 이전시간 농도에 영향을 받기 때문에 반복지도학습(Recursive Supervised Learning) 예측 모델을 적용하였다. 기존 모델인 CNN, LSTM의 정확도(Accuracy)를 비교분석을 위해 관측값(Observation Value)과 예측값(Prediction Value)간의 차이를 분석하고 시각화했다. 성능분석 결과 제안하는 GAN이 LSTM 대비 평가항목 RMSE, MAPE, IOA에서 각각 15.8%, 10.9%, 5.5%로 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

RH 공정 조건이 다른 TMCP강의 개재물 및 기계적 특성 (Inclusions and Mechanical Properties of TMCP Steel under Different RH Process Conditions)

  • TMCP(Thermo Mechanical Control Process) steel was continuously cast (CC) by varying the argon gas flow rate and vacuum time in the Ruhrstahl Heraeus (RH) refining process. Using the CC specimens, the distribution of the inclusions and the mechanical properties were evaluated. A lot of oxides and Al-O type inclusions were observed. The average Vickers hardness did not show a constant, but showed dispersion in a certain range. The shape and scale parameters of the CC specimen with an argon gas flow rate of 160Nm3 and a vacuum time of 12 minutes was the best. Mechanical properties (tensile strength, yield strength and elongation) were consistent with the Weibull probability distribution analysis results. The impact resistance was the best for CC specimens with an argon flow rate of 140 Nm3 and a vacuum time of 12 minutes. Although the inclusions and mechanical properties of the CC specimens were evaluated according to the argon gas flow rate and vacuum time, these values were no significant difference.

LOW REGULARITY SOLUTIONS TO HIGHER-ORDER HARTREE-FOCK EQUATIONS WITH UNIFORM BOUNDS

  • In this paper, we consider the higher-order HartreeFock equations. The higher-order linear Schrödinger equation was introduced in [5] as the formal finite Taylor expansion of the pseudorelativistic linear Schrödinger equation. In [13], the authors established global-in-time Strichartz estimates for the linear higher-order equations which hold uniformly in the speed of light c ≥ 1 and as their applications they proved the convergence of higher-order Hartree-Fock equations to the corresponding pseudo-relativistic equation on arbitrary time interval as c goes to infinity when the Taylor expansion order is odd. To achieve this, they not only showed the existence of solutions in L2 space but also proved that the solutions stay bounded uniformly in c. We address the remaining question on the convergence of higherorder Hartree-Fock equations when the Taylor expansion order is even. The distinguished feature from the odd case is that the group velocity of phase function would be vanishing when the size of frequency is comparable to c. Owing to this property, the kinetic energy of solutions is not coercive and only weaker Strichartz estimates compared to the odd case were obtained in [13]. Thus, we only manage to establish the existence of local solutions in Hs space for s > $\frac{1}{3}$ on a finite time interval [-T, T], however, the time interval does not depend on c and the solutions are bounded uniformly in c. In addition, we provide the convergence result of higher-order Hartree-Fock equations to the pseudo-relativistic equation with the same convergence rate as the odd case, which holds on [-T, T].

주파수영역LMS 2차 적수Volterra 필터와 그 분석 (The Frequency-Domain LMS Second-order Adaptive Volterra Filter and Its Analysis)

  • The adaptive algorithm for the Volterra filter is considered. Owing to its simplicity, the LMS algorithm for adaptive Volterra filter(AVF) is widely used as in linear adaptive filters. However, the convergence speed is unsatisfactory. For improving the convergence speed, the frequency domain LMS second order adaptive Volterra filter(FLMS-AVF) is proposed and analyzed. We show that the time and frequency domain LMS AVF's have the same steady state performance under approprate conditons. Moreover, it can be shown that this algorithm can improve the convergence speed significantly by applying self-orthogonalizing method.

  • The convergence acceleration methods for the compressible Wavier-Stokes equations are studied ,which are multigrid method and implicit preconditioned multistage time stepping method. In this paper, the performance of implicit preconditioning methods are studied for the full-coarsening multigrid methods on the high Reynolds number compressible flow computations. The effect of numerical flux on the convergence are investigated for the inviscid and viscous calculations.

데이터 재활용 LMS equalizer의 수렴성능 분석 (Convergence analysis of data-recycling LMS equalizer)

  • The convergence characteristics of an LMS type Equalizer whose coefficient are multiple adapted in a symbol time period by recycling the received data are analyzed. The theoretical analysis shows that the data-recycling LMS technique can increase convergence speed by (B+1) times, where B is the number of recycled data. The results of the computer simulation demonstrate that the simulation results are in accordence with the theoretical analysis and the superiority of the equalizer algorithm.

The effect of the new stopping criterion on the genetic algorithm performance

  • In this study, a new stopping criterion, called "backward controlled stopping criterion" (BCSC), was proposed to be used in Genetic Algorithms. In the study, the available stopping citeria; adaptive stopping citerion, evolution time, fitness threshold, fitness convergence, population convergence, gene convergence, and developed stopping criterion were applied to the following four comparison problems; high strength concrete mix design, pre-stressed precast concrete beam, travelling salesman and reinforced concrete deep beam problems. When completed the analysis, the developed stopping criterion was found to be more accomplished than available criteria, and was able to research a much larger area in the space design supplying higher fitness values.
