  • In this paper, we study two operator-valued inequalities for quantum Wigner-Yanase-Dyson skew information related to module operators. These are extended results of the trace inequalities for Wigner-Yanase-Dyson skew information. Moreover, we study a sufficient condition to prove an uncertainty relation for operator-valued generalized quantum Wigner-Yanase-Dyson skew information related to module operators and a pair of functions (f, g). Also, we obtain several previous results of scalar-valued cases as a consequence of our main result.

  • In galactose metabolic pathway : there are three inborn metabolic disorders galactokinase deficiency (galactosemia type II), galactose-1-phosphate uridyl transferase(GALT) daficiency (galactosemia type I ), uridine diphosphate galactose-4-epimerase deficiency (galactosemia typeIII). Among these disorders GALT deficiency is the most severe and common. Infants with GALT deficiency fail to metabolize galactose-1-phosphate. As a consequence, galactose-1-phosphate and galactose are accumulated in blood in which GALS enzyme plays the role of a pathognomonic marker. (omitted)

  • In this paper, we prove some coincidence point theorems for mappings satisfying nonlinear Prešić-Ćirić type contraction in complete metric spaces as well as in ordered metric spaces. As a consequence, we deduce corresponding fixed point theorems. Further, we give some examples to substantiate the utility of our results.

  • In this paper, we will describe affine homogeneous domains in the complex plane. For this study, we deal with the Lie algebra of infinitesimal affine transformations, a structure of the hyperbolic metric involved with affine automorphisms. As a consequence, an affine homogeneous domain is affine equivalent to the complex plane, the punctured plane or the half plane.

  • Sufficient conditions for the Jensen polynomials of the derivatives of a real entire function to be hyperbolic are obtained. The conditions are given in terms of the growth rate and zero distribution of the function. As a consequence some recent results on Jensen polynomials, relevant to the Riemann hypothesis, are extended and improved.

  • In this paper, we show that a recurrent manifold with harmonic curvature tensor is locally symmetric and that an Einstein and conformally recurrent manifold is locally symmetric. As a consequence, Einstein and recurrent manifolds must be locally symmetric. On the other hand, we have obtained some results for a (conformally) recurrent manifold with parallel vector field and also investigated some results for a (conformally) recurrent manifold with concircular vector field.

  • Motivated by the previously reported results, this work attempts to provide fresh refinements to both vector and numerical radius inequalities by providing a refinement to the well known Buzano's inequality which as a consequence yielded another refinement of the Cauchy-Schwartz (CS) inequality. Utilizing the new refinements of the Buzano's and Cauchy-Schwartz inequalities, we proceed to obtain various vector and numerical radius type inequalities. Methods used in the paper are standard for the operator theory inequality topics.

  • In this study, we introduce an advanced architecture of genetically optimized Hybrid Fuzzy Neural Networks (gHFNN) and develop a comprehensive design methodology supporting their construction. A series of numeric experiments is included to illustrate the performance of the networks. The construction of gHFNN exploits fundamental technologies of Computational Intelligence (CI), namely fuzzy sets, neural networks, and genetic algorithms (GAs). The architecture of the gHFNNs results from a synergistic usage of the genetic optimization-driven hybrid system generated by combining Fuzzy Neural Networks (FNN) with Polynomial Neural Networks (PNN). In this tandem, a FNN supports the formation of the premise part of the rule-based structure of the gHFNN. The consequence part of the gHFNN is designed using PNNs. We distinguish between two types of the linear fuzzy inference rule-based FNN structures showing how this taxonomy depends upon the type of a fuzzy partition of input variables. As to the consequence part of the gHFNN, the development of the PNN dwells on two general optimization mechanisms: the structural optimization is realized via GAs whereas in case of the parametric optimization we proceed with a standard least square method-based learning. To evaluate the performance of the gHFNN, the models are experimented with a representative numerical example. A comparative analysis demonstrates that the proposed gHFNN come with higher accuracy as well as superb predictive capabilities when comparing with other neurofuzzy models.

  • Wind turbine blades are increasing in magnitude without a proportional increase of stiffness for which reason geometrical and inertial nonlinearities become increasingly important. Often these effects are analysed using a nonlinear truncated expansion in undamped fixed base mode shapes of a blade, modelling geometrical and inertial nonlinear couplings in the fundamental flap and edge direction. The purpose of this article is to examine the applicability of such a reduced-degree-of-freedom model in predicting the nonlinear response and stability of a blade by comparison to a full model based on a nonlinear co-rotating FE formulation. By use of the reduced-degree-of-freedom model it is shown that under strong resonance excitation of the fundamental flap or edge modes, significant energy is transferred to higher modes due to parametric or nonlinear coupling terms, which influence the response and stability conditions. It is demonstrated that the response predicted by such models in some cases becomes instable or chaotic. However, as a consequence of the energy flow the stability is increased and the tendency of chaotic vibrations is reduced as the number of modes are increased. The FE model representing the case of infinitely many included modes, is shown to predict stable and ordered response for all considered parameters. Further, the analysis shows that the reduced-degree-of-freedom model of relatively low order overestimates the response near resonance peaks, which is a consequence of the small number of included modes. The qualitative erratic response and stability prediction of the reduced order models take place at frequencies slightly above normal operation. However, for normal operation of the wind turbine without resonance excitation 4 modes in the reduced-degree-of-freedom model perform acceptable.
