  • This research, which was experimented by dividing tangible and intangible products, established the influence that affects recovery for consumers' complaint behavior and behavioral intention as per each different compensation program. In Experiment 1, the consumers, who experienced complaint behavior owing to company's mistake, have preferably recovered through the compensation program offered by the company. However, there was a significant difference in preference recovery between products that caused complaint behavior. According to the study result, the more clear preference recovery was shown in the case of purchasing laptop than the case of dining in family restaurant. Additionally, the consumers' emotion recovery was possible through compensation.; There was a emotion recovery disparity depending on product type between purchasing laptop case and dining in family restaurant case. The consumers, who experienced complaints, were only able to recover their preference, emotion, and behavioral intention through compensation of which recovery was greater in tangible product case than ordinary service. Meanwhile, there was no distinct difference between recovery compensation types even though the products were identical-type ones whereas it appeared that such tangible product which showed greater purchasing effort as laptop computer was more effective in stimulating emotion response. In Experiment 2, the purpose was to find out the difference between complaint behavior and its recovery process shown after purchase by Korean and Japanese college students, who have different consumer purchasing habits. The both consumers of the two countries, who experienced complaint behavior, demonstrated precise difference in preference recovery while the emotion and behavioral intention exhibited no disparity between the two consumer groups. In this experiment, it was learned that Korean college students were show-off purchase type consumers while on the other hand, the Japanese college students were famous product purchase type consumers. Thus, there was a clear difference in laptop computer purchase process and post-purchase evaluation between these two groups. In particular, the Korean college students had quicker preference recovery through compensation than the Japanese college students on account of their tendency to be consciousness of others. Nevertheless, there was no difference between the emotion recovery and re-purchase recovery and therefore, the compensation program for complaints was proven to affect the emotion and behavioral intention.

Still, it has several problems as follows; A lot of public servants and citizens lack in understandings of this program. CEOs don't have enough concern in it. Evaluation is not organically connected to performance management. The correction and compensation procedure are not well operated. To solve these problems, the government needs to set up an institutional foundation establishing a legal base, uplifting CFO' concerns, and building a department with full responsibility, and to promote employees and citizens' participation through education and PR. It's also important to enhance post management by efficient evaluation and performance management, substantial correction and compensation procedure.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the leisure constraint of a private security guard on his/her task stress and life satisfaction. The subjects of this study were chosen among the private security guards working in Seoul based private security firms in 2009, and by going through judgement sampling, 300 cases were applied in the final analysis. Collected data went through factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis by using SPSSWIN 17.0. In reference with the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's $\alpha$ was over .600. The conclusion of this study is as following. Firstly, the leisure constraint of a private security guard affects his/her task stress. In other words, when peripheral and individual constraint increase, task stress is intensified, while task stress winds down when interpersonal constraint decreases. Secondly, the leisure constraint of a private security guard affects life satisfaction. That is, when individual constraint goes down, life satisfaction is improved. Thirdly, the task stress of a private security guard affects life satisfaction. when compensation and career development increase, life satisfaction rises. On the other hand when task characteristic is weakened, life satisfaction gets lower. Fourthly, the leisure constraint of a private security guard has a causal influence on task stress and life satisfaction. Accordingly, it becomes apparent that the task stress is a significant variable which intermediates the relation between leisure constraint and life satisfaction.

  • Objectives : This study examined the stress-coping methods used by Dental Hygiene students according to their degree of self-leadership to provide basic data for students' self-leadership training programs. Methods : Dental Hygiene students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed to measure their self-leadership in six categories-self-expectation, rehearsal, goal-setting, self-compensation, self-criticism, and constructive thinking-sand, in four categories-sproblem-centered coping, social support coping, emotional coping, and wishful thinking coping-son a scale of 1 through 5. Results : The findings of the study were as follows: The overall average score of self-leadership was 3.34 and the scores for each subfactor were 3.82 for self-compensation, 3.57 for self-expectation, 3.44 for rehearsal, 3.42 for goal-setting, 3.30 for self-criticism, and 3.12 for constructive thinking. The overall average score of stress-coping was 3.29 out of 5 and the scores for active coping were 3.14 for problem-centered coping and 3.38 for social support coping and for passive coping were 3.69 for wishful thinking coping and 2.95 for emotional coping. • Backlight has a major factor in power consumption of TFT-LCDs which are most popular in portable devices. There have been a lot of attempts to achieve power savings by backlight dimming. At the same time, the researches have shown image compensation due to decreased brightness of a displayed image. However, existing image compensation methods such as histogram equalization have some limits in completely satisfying the human visual system (HVS)-awareness. This paper proposes an enhanced dimming technique to obtain both power saving and HVS-awareness by combining pixel compensation and histogram specification for TFT-LCDs. This method executes a search algorithm and an automation algorithm employing simplified calculations for fast image processing. Experimental results showed that the proposed method achieved significant improvement in visual satisfaction per power saving over existing backlight dimming.

  • To investigate farmers' satisfaction level and factors influencing on various agricultural and rural policies, an interview survey has been carried out in Jeonnam and Jeonbuk agricultural area, and collected 750 survey questionnaires from farmers. Satisfaction level was low in average ranging from 2.71 to 3.09 in five point Likert-scale on 22 agricultural-rural related policies. Ordered logit model results showed that satisfaction level decreased when farmers are older, had higher income, and had higher number of attendance in agricultural education programme. In addition, satisfaction level decreased when farms had main source of income from rice farming, dry-field farming, livestock farming, or facility horticulture. Lower satisfaction level was also related to location of farm. On the contrary, satisfaction level increased when the farmer had greater owned land. Among 22 agricultural and rural policies, practices that farmers prefer include Direct Payment for Rice Farming Income Compensation, Environment-Friendly Farming Service, Farmland Banking Services in order. Since direct payment policies that farmers prefer may not contribute in development of agriculture, policies can induce both farm income and agricultural development may increase farmer satisfaction level and finally resolve the income gap between the urban workers and farmers.
