이 연구의 목적은 실행공동체(Community of Practice)의 관점에서 과학교실문화를 분석하기 위한 조사도구를 개발하고 이를 적용하여 그 활용가능성을 확인하는 데 있다. 문헌연구를 통하여 실행공동체의 구조적 요인을 설정하고 요인에 따른 예비문항을 개발하였다. 초등학교 4학년, 6학년, 중학교 2학년 총 219명의 학생들에게 예비조사를 실시하여 문항 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통하여 수정된 도구는 '학습 책임감'(responsibility for learning), '공동의 관심사'(common interest), '호혜적 인간관계'(mutual relationships), '개방적 참여'(open participation), '실행'(practice)의 총 5개 요인 27개 문항으로 구성되었다. 개발된 조사도구를 사용하여 초등학교 4학년과 6학년 학생 총 706명을 대상으로 본 조사를 실시하고 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 조사도구가 타당한 도구임을 확인하였으며, 초등학교 과학교실 공동체의 특성을 구조적 요인별, 학년별, 성별, 교사 특성별로 비교하여 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 개발된 조사 도구는 공동체적 관점에서 과학교실을 분석하는데 활용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 바람직한 과학교실의 공동체를 위한 시사점을 제안할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구는 국내·외의 문헌들을 분석하고 국외 전문가 실천공동체 사례를 조사함으로써 실천공동체 참여를 통해 연구자들이 얻을 수 있는 이점이 무엇인지 분석하였다. 또한 해당 실천공동체의 구축 방법 및 실천공동체 내의 데이터 공유 방법과 연구데이터 공유 및 활용을 위한 국내의 전문가 실천공동체의 구축 방법에 대한 논의를 진행하였다. 전문가 실천공동체에 참여함으로써 구성원들은 해당 분야의 전문가 네트워크를 구축할 수 있고, 다양한 전문가를 만날 수 있는 기회를 갖는다. 뿐만 아니라, 실천공동체에 참여함으로써 해당 공동체 내에서 전문 지식과 정보를 습득 및 공유할 수 있고, 다른 전문가로부터 도움을 받을 수 있는 기회를 얻을 수 있으며, 전문 지식에 관한 학습 및 전문적인 경험의 기회를 제공받을 수 있다는 이점을 갖는다. 또한 본 연구는 연구데이터 공유 및 활용을 위하여 국내의 전문가 실천공동체는 어떻게 구축되어야 하는지에 대한 논의를 운영 방법 및 관리 체계, 가입 조건 및 구성원의 수, 활동 목표 및 방법, 데이터 및 리포지토리 관리의 4가지 요인에 초점을 맞추어 진행하였다. 본 연구는 국내의 전문가 실천공동체 구축을 위한 지식 기반을 제공한다.

CoP(Community of Practices)란 구성원간 새로운 정보 및 지식의 상호학습 및 문제해결방안을 모색하기 위해 활동하는 공동체를 지칭하는 것으로, 통상 학습공동체 또는 실천공동체 등으로 지칭된다. 연구개발조직은 통상 내부 구성원간의 상호학습은 물론 외부 전문가와의 정보교류 및 상호학습을 촉진하는 CoP 활성화를 토대로 구성원의 역량개발은 물론 해당 조직의 연구개발 성과를 향상시키려고 노력한다. 본 연구는 대전에 소재한 4개 국가연구개발조직의 151명 연구원을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 응답자들이 참여한 CoP 운영특성과 해당 CoP 창출 성과와의 관계를 실증적으로 연구하고 있다. 실증연구 결과, 신규멤버 증대, 외부연계, 도전적 풍토, 다양성지향, 자율적 풍토와 같은 실질적인 CoP 운영특성이 CoP 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 비해 참가자수나 모임횟수와 같은 외형적 운영특성의 영향력은 유의성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이 조사결과는 참여한 구성원의 역량개발은 물론 해당 조직의 성과 향상에 기여하는 CoP를 활성화하기 위해 CoP의 수, 참가자 규모, 운영횟수와 같은 외형적 특성에만 치중하기보다, CoP의 운영내실화를 기하고, 창의적 조직풍토를 강화하는 노력이 보다 효과적일 수 있음을 시사한다.

As a community of practice (CoP) is known to facilitate team learning, it is increasingly important to understand the mechanisms of CoP, thereby enabling organizations to fully utilize it and optimize its benefits. To explain how CoP improves organizational performance, we focus on its effects on social capital and knowledge management activities, and propose a research model suggesting that shared goals and trust in CoP improve its performance through knowledge integration. Our analysis uses structural equation modeling, with field data collected from 372 members of 46 CoPs in three companies; the analysis validates our research model. Our findings also suggest that CoP diversity can strengthen the link between knowledge integration and CoP performance.

본 연구는 '실행공동체로서의 과학교실(SCaCoP)'이 가지는 구조적 요인 간의 관계를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 초등과학 실험수업의 모둠활동을 5가지의 구조적 요인인, 학습책임감, 공동의 관심사, 개방적 참여, 호혜적 인간관계, 그리고 실행을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 자료 수집은 초등학교 과학교실의 5개의 모둠을 대상으로 5번의 수업관찰과 면담을 통해 이루어졌으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 호혜적 인간관계는 개방적 참여의 필요조건으로 작용하고 있었다. 둘째, 학생들의 공동의 관심사 요인에는 '구성원들의 흥미'와 '수업의 주제'의 두 가지 차원이 나타났으며, 두 차원은 각각 개방적 참여 요인과 학습책임감 요인의 영향을 주고받았다. 셋째, 실행요인은 다른 요인들과 역동적인 관계를 맺으며 다른 요인들의 특징을 강화시켜주었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 실행공동체로서의 과학교실이 가지는 구조적 요인 간의 관계를 제안하였으며, 이를 통해 학생들의 과학학습을 공동체에 참여로 보는 관점에서 가질 수 있는 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

기업들이 지식경영을 표방하면서 비공식적으로 운영되던 CoP가 공식화되면서 CoP에 대한 관심이 높아지게 되었다. 이와 함께 2000년도 초반부터 CoP에 대한 연구들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. CoP에 대한 연구가 10년 정도 이루어진 이 시점에서 CoP에 대한 연구의 동향과 핵심 연구 주제 및 성공 요인에 대해서 성찰해 보는 것도 매우 의미 있는 일이라고 판단된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 CoP에 대한 연구 동향에 대해서 분석하였고, 선행연구들이 제시하는 성공요인을 분석하였다. 자료 수집 대상은 학술재단 등재지에 한에서 수집하였다. 그 결과 CoP에 대한 연구는 2000년도에 시작되어서 2012년까지 총 37편의 연구가 수행되었고, 연구의 유형으로는 사례연구 15건, CoP를 종속변인으로 사용한 연구 11건, CoP를 독립변인으로 사용한 연구 4건, 이론적인 담론을 다룬 연구 2건, CoP와 관련된 프로그램 개발 연구 4건이다. 사례 연구 가운데 CoP 성공요인을 제시한 연구는 7건이며, 이 연구들이 제시한 성공요인은 14가지이며, CoP의 성과에 가장 많은 영향을 주는 요인은 공동체 외부에서 주어지는 지원이었다. CoP에 영향을 미치는 변인을 탐색한 연구는 모두 11건이었으며, 이 연구들이 제시한 성공요인은 13가지 이었다. 그리고 CoP의 성공에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 팀효과성이었다.

There is no doubt Six Sigma is an excellent concept to improve quality of product or service. However, limitations to Six Sigma's implementation process have been discovered that are related to Six Sigma's foundation in statistical methods. The limitations of Six Sigma are overcome by the advantages of a strategic CoP (Community of Practice). Therefore, this research tries to build a strategic CoP for implementing Six Sigma. The method for building a strategic CoP is suggested, and then a case study of a real company is presented.

The importance of communities of practice(CoP) as an organizational informal unit for fostering knowledge transfer and sharing gains a lot of attention from KM researchers and practitioners. Since most of CoPs are formulated online these days, the credibility or trustworthiness of knowledge contents circulated within a certain CoP should be considered thoroughly for them to be fully utilized safely. Here comes the need for an appropriate trust measuring methodology to determine the true value of knowledge given by unknown people through an online channel. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method is proposed using new trust variables such as level of degrees derived from the relationships among community users. In addition, activeness, relevance, and usefulness of the knowledge contents themselves, which are calculated automatically using a text categorization technique, are also used for trust measurement. The proposed framework incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which are used to measure the level of trust involved in specific knowledge artifacts concerned.

All are organizations embedded, here in after, Em-organizaion that confronts the ever-growing complexity. It is important to know Em-organization through Individual Mastery. The complexity must be decreased, and clarified in order to derive to get our ontology from the influence of others. The opportunity to learn in practice is embedded in processes that the community developed. Driving strategic innovation is achieving breakthrough performance throughout the value chain. We used to express complex unit on matrix which includes only the federal statutes because the role of information technology should be a source of competitive advantages each other. Therefore, we got the idea that integrated both kinds of knowledge to create differentiation by ourselves. This practice is situated the learning of Strategic CoP in e-class seminar of our graduate school. We suggest theoretically two things. One is matrix-based decision. Another is creating new context through systems thinking.

Prior studies on knowledge sharing have concentrated primarily on either organizational or individual characteristics. However, by focusing on the interaction between members in On-line communities of practice (CoPs), we seek to identify and analyze factors that affect knowledge sharing by members in CoPs. Therefore, we examine if the independent variables such as interactivity, followership, and trust have positive impacts on the dependent variables such as commitment to CoPs and intention to share knowledge. In addition, this study also investigates the relationship between commitment to CoP and intention to share knowledge. The empirical results show that interactivity has a positive impact on commitment, but an insignificant impact on intention to share knowledge. Besides, trust between members is significantly associated with intention to share knowledge, whereas it does not have a significant effect on commitment. Moreover, followership is significantly related to both commitment and intention to share knowledge. These empirical findings show that the relationship between members in CoPs play a significant, positive role in intention to share knowledge. In conclusion, this research contributes to shedding a light into both interactions between members in and commitment to CoPs that are critical to facilitate knowledge sharing.
