간호대학생의 폭력경험, 대처양식 및 회복탄력성이 정서반응과 임상실습스트레스에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Verbal Abuse Experience, Coping Style and Resilience on Emotional Response and Stress During Clinical Practicum among Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 시 폭력경험, 대처양식 및 회복탄력성이 정서반응과 임상실습스트레스에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 대상자는 간호대학생 261명이 참여하였고 2014년 12월 1일부터 12월 20일까지 자가보고식 질문지를 사용하여 조사하였다. 상관관계 분석 결과 폭력경험은 정서중심대처, 임상실습스트레스와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 문제중심대처는 정서중심대처, 회복탄력성과 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 정서 중심대처는 정서반응, 임상실습스트레스와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 회복탄력성은 정서반응과 유의한 부적상관관계가 있었고, 정서반응은 임상실습스트레스와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 정서반응에 영향을 미치는 가장 높은 영향요인은 정서중심대처(${\beta}=.422$)였다. 임상실습스트레스에 영향을 미치는 가장 높은 영향요인은 폭력경험(${\beta}=.283$)이였다. 간호대학생의 안전한 실습환경을 위해 대인관계훈련 프로그램과 효율적인 의사소통훈련 프로그램을 개발하는 것이 필요할 것으로 제언한다.

Relationship between oxidative stress, semen characteristics, and clinical diagnosis in men undergoing infertility investigation

  • Objective: To determine whether particular semen characteristics in various clinical diagnoses of infertility are associated with high oxidative stress and whether any group of infertile men is more likely to have high seminal oxidative stress. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play an important role in sperm physiological functions, but elevated levels of ROS or oxidative stress are related to male infertility. Design: Measurement of sperm concentration, motility, morphology, seminal ROS, and total antioxidant capacity (TAC) in patients seeking infertility treatment and controls. Setting: Male infertility clinic of a tertiary care center. Patient(s): One hundred sixty-seven infertile patients and 19 controls. Intervention(s): None. Main Outcome Measure(s): Semen characteristics, seminal ROS, and TAC in samples from patients with various clinical diagnoses and controls. Result(s): Fifteen patients (9.0%) were Endtz positive and 152(91.0%) Endtz negative. Sperm concentration, motility, and morphology were significantly reduced in all groups compared with the controls (P = .02), except in varicocele associated With infection group. Mean (${\pm}$SD) ROS levels in patient groups ranged from 2.2 ${\pm}$ 0.13 to 3.2 ${\pm}$ 0.35, signilicantly higher than controls (1.3 ${\pm}$ 0.3; P<.005). Patient groups had a significantly lower mean (${\pm}$SD) TAC from 1014.75 ${\pm}$ 79.22 to 1173.05 ${\pm}$ 58.07 than controls (1653 ${\pm}$ 115.28, P<.001), except ill the vaseclony reversal group (1532.02 ${\pm}$ 74.24). Sperm concentration was negatively correlated with ROS both overall and within all groups (P${\leq}$.007), with the exception of idiopathic infertility. Conclusion(s): Irrespective of the clinical diagnosis and semen characteristics, the presence of seminal oxidative stress in infertile men suggests its role in the pathophysiology of infertility. Medical or surgical treatments for infertility in these men should include strategies to reduce oxidative stress.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional labor, emotional intelligence and social support on job stress in clinical nurses. Methods: Participants were 123 clinical nurses and data were collected from October to December, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0. Results: A positive correlation was found between job stress and emotional labor. Emotional labor showed a significant negative correlation with emotional intelligence and social support, whereas a positive correlation was found between emotional intelligence and social support. The strongest predictor of job stress was emotional labor. In addition, institution satisfaction (dissatisfaction) and the reason for selecting the job (opportunities for service) accounted for 21% of variance in job stress. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is important to manage emotional labor as well as to improve job satisfaction in order to reduce job stress in clinical nurses.

간호대학생의 임상실습 전 스트레스, 불안, 자아탄력성 (Stress in before clinical practice, anxiety, ego resilience of nursing students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 전, 스트레스, 불안 및 자아탄력성과의 관계를 분석하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 첫 임상실습을 앞둔 K대학 간호학과 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 임상실습 전 스트레스는 여학생에게서 높게 나타났으며(t=-5.51, p<.001), 불안은 여학생이 남학생보다(t=-3.30, p=.001), 주관적 건강상태가 나쁘다고 느낄수록(F=3.27, p=.041), 성격이 내성적일수록(t=-3.32, p=.001), 전공만족도가 낮을수록(F=7.25, p=.001) 높게 나타났다. 자아탄력성은 건강상태가 좋다고 느낄수록(F=3.74, p=.026), 성격이 외향적일수록(t=3.19, p=.002) 높게 나타났다. 또한 임상실습 스트레스, 불안 및 자아탄력성과의 상관관계에서 임상실습 전 스트레스와 불안과는 양의 상관관계가 있었으며(r=.211, p=.010), 자아탄력성과 불안은 음의 상관관계(r=-.313, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 간호대학생의 자아탄력성을 향상시키기 위해 실습 전, 불안을 감소시킬 수 있는 역량프로그램 개발이 필요하리라 생각된다.

간호대학생의 대인관계, 임상실습 스트레스 및 임상실습 만족도 간의 관계 (Relation of interpersonal relationship, clinical stress and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 대인관계, 임상실습 스트레스 및 임상실습 만족도를 파악하고, 제 변수의 상관관계를 조사하기 위해 시도되었다. 본 연구는 대구 경북 지역 3개 대학교 간호학과에 재학 중인 3,4학년생 261명을 대상으로 2015년 9월 7일~18까지 설문조사하였고, 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 대인관계는 평균 $3.74{\pm}0.39$점, 임상실습 스트레스는 $3.21{\pm}0.54$점, 임상실습 만족도는 $3.44{\pm}0.45$점이었다. 대인관계는 연령(F=3.12, p=.046), 간호학 전공만족도(F=15.84, p<.001), 대인관계 중요성(F=4.76, p=.001), 학업성적(F=3.80, p=.011)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 임상실습 스트레스는 연령(F=8.05, p<.001), 간호학 지원동기(F=4.55, p=.001), 간호학 전공만족도(F=2.69, p=.046)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 임상실습 만족도는 간호학 전공만족도(F=3.24, p=.022), 대인관계 중요성(F=3.01, p=.019), 학업성적(F=5.24, p=.002)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대인관계와 임상실습 만족도(r=.24, p<.001)는 유의한 순 상관관계가 있었으며, 임상실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요소는 대인관계(${\beta}=.21$, p<.001), 학업성적(${\beta}=.12$, p=.045)이었다. 결론적으로 간호대학생의 임상실습 만족도를 높이기 위해서 간호대학생의 대인관계능력을 향상시키기 위한 중재 방안이 필요하다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to figure out the association of nursing activity participation and clinical practice stress with career maturity during clinical practice among nursing college students. Methods: Participants of the study were 201 nursing college students located in nationwide regions. Data collection was performed between July 18 and August 8, 2019. Data analyses were performed through an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS WIN 25.0. Results: The results of this study were as follows. We ran multiple regression analyses to see which critical factors influenced career maturity. The general characteristics significantly associated with career maturity were preference for clinical nursing, admission to nursing college due to belief, time off, and being satisfied with clinical practice. Regarding clinical practice stress, clinic environment, interpersonal relationship conflict, inappropriate role model and conflict with patients were significantly associated with career maturity. Conclusion: This study suggested that, to improve nursing students' career maturity, nursing colleges and training fields should collaboratively make an efforts to reduce students' stress by building educational clinic environments including managing conflicts in interpersonal relationships among patients, caregivers, and medical and non-medical personnel, and improving inappropriate role models in nursing.

분만 간호에 대한 시뮬레이션 실습교육과 병원 분만실 실습교육의 효과 (Effects of Clinical Practice and Simulation-Based Practice for Obstetrical Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of clinical practice and simulation-based practice for obstetrical nursing in terms of self-efficacy, practice satisfaction, and practice stress. Methods: A non-equivalent control group post test design was used. The participants were 171 junior nursing students, 103 in the experimental group, and 68 in the control group. Simulation-based practice consisted of nursing assessment during labor, nursing assessment and intervention for normal and high risk mother, nursing education for mother and family during labor, and open lab. The experimental group participated in simulation-based practice for two days and the control group participated in clinical practice at delivery room for two weeks. Results: The experimental group showed higher level of self-efficacy (p= .043), practice satisfaction (p<.001) and practice stress (p=.003) compared to the control group. Conclusion: Simulation-based practice is an effective learning method for obstetrical nursing and can be used as the alternative for clinical practice. However, stress management strategies are needed for simulation-based practice.

학업을 병행하는 임상치과위생사의 직무만족도 영향 요인 (Factors influencing job satisfaction of clinical dental hygienists in schoolwork)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the influencing factors of job satisfaction of clinical dental hygienists in schoolwork, and use the basic data to enhance their job satisfaction. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 210 dental clinic hygienists from June 10 to August 30 of 2018. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe's post-hoc test, and Pearson correlation coefficient were reviewed, and a multiple regression analysis was conducted. Results: The scores of subjects' professional self-concept, self-esteem, job stress, and job satisfaction were 3.37, 3.80, 2.79, and 3.37, respectively. The influencing factors of job satisfaction of clinical dental hygienists in schoolwork included marital status, support in workplace, professional self-concept, and job stress, with 41.6% of the explanatory power. Conclusions: The stronger the professional self-concept, the lower the job-stress and higher the job satisfaction. The job satisfaction was also higher in the group in which the subjects were married and getting support in the workplace compared to the other group with no support in the workplace. Therefore, support systems and institutional support are required for clinical dental hygienists to be continuously educated in the workplace.

일부 치위생(학)과 학생들의 인구사회학적 특성과 대학생활 스트레스에 관한 조사 (Survey on the Socio-demographic Characteristic and Campus Life Stress of the Dental Hygiene Students)

  • Purpose. This study was conducted to provide basic data for decrease campus life stress investigated survey on the socio-demographic characteristic and campus life stress of the dental hygiene students. Methods. The research subjects are the total 220 and it was analyzed with structured questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed by IBM SPSS ver. 20.0, a statistical program (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA) for the frequency and percentage, ANOVA, Regression. The result is as following Results. The campus life stress was statistically significant differences by in case of poor family reason (${\beta}$=0.287), the fourth grader(${\beta}$=0.151), pocket money a month(${\beta}$=-0.136). Conclusions. As the results of the reasearch, it is necessary support and expansion plan with systemized cooperation between the government and school to state scholarship, living expenses and worker's scholarship for decrease the campus life stress.

노인요양병원 간호사의 섬망에 대한 지식, 섬망간호스트레스 및 섬망간호수행간의 관계 (Relationship between Knowledge, Stress, and Nursing Performance about Care for Delirium in Geriatric Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate knowledge, stress and nursing performance about care for delirium in geriatric hospital nurses. Methods. For this study, data were collected from 242 nurses employed at geriatric hospitals with the capacity of more than 100 beds which were located in A, P and Y cites. Frequency analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA were utilized to analyze the data and Scheffe test was used to conduct post-hoc tests. Results. Nurses showed significant differences in the level of Knowledge, as well as terminal care performance by marital status, nursing experience. A significant relationship was found between knowledge, stress and Delirium care performance. Conclusion. This study found nurses perform delirium care with a high level of stress but with insuffiecient understanding, and thus, showed great needs for related training. Such findings can be useful to develop educational programs to improve knowledge on delirium and plans to reduce stress from delirium for geriatric hospital nurses.
