The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of Home Economics learning on the recognition and attitude of middle school boy’s home life and to suggest the basic materials for the development of the Home Economics education through students’opinion of Home Economics. For this purpose, a survey was conducted in Cheong-ju area using questionaire. The subjects were 487 boys who studied Home Economics (HE group)and 480 boys who studied Technique (T group) in middle school. The statistics used for data analysis were t-test and x$^2$-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The recognition and attitude to home life on the general characteristics of home life; In urban area, the interests in bealth and the role of the consumers were higher than those of rural areas-on the bases of the standard of life, the middle class students had a higher interest in nutrition and food habits, the students whose father were engaged in special job had a higher interest in health and nutrition. 2. The difference of the recognition and attitude between HE & groups; In the field of food life, HE’s knowledge about the six nutrients and the basic food groups and attitude toward buying food were higher than T’s. In the field of family life and resources, HE and T accepted the importance of family life and the role of home as important, hoped to get psychological relax from home and to take the right sexual education. In the field of clothes life, HE and T had the general tendency to have their clothes in proper manner and to select their clothes for themselves, but HE took a higher interest in clothes mending and the role of clothes. 3. The opinions on Home Economics; HE answered that Home Economics was useful to them (more than 90% of HE) and that 57.1% of HE were interested in Home Economics. The order of interest among three fields were as follows: food life, clothes life, family life and resources. 71.9% of T hoped to take Home Economics course.

The purposes of this study are, by referring to various previous studies on problem posing, to re-construct problem posing steps and a variety of problem posing learning materials with a problem posing teaching-learning model, which are practically useful in math class; then, by applying them to 4-Ga step math teaming, to examine whether this problem posing teaching-learning model has positive effects on the students' problem solving ability and mathematical attitude. The experimental process consisted of the newly designed problem posing teaching-learning curriculum taught to the experimental group, and a general teaching-learning curriculum taught to the comparative group. The study results of this experiment are as follows: First, compared to the comparative group, the experimental group in which the teaching-teaming activity with problem posing was taught showed a significant improvement in problem solving ability. Second, the experimental group in which the teaching-learning activity with problem posing was taught showed a positive change in mathematical attitude.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of teaching science ethical issues relevant to the middle school science curriculum. The experimental subjects were 132 second grade middle school students in Seoul, who were divided into two groups without any statistical differences. The results of this study indicated that teaching ethical issues in science had a positive influence on students' attitudes toward science and fostered a positive impression of science education. Also, the students showed a positive attitude in dealing with ethical problems in science and technology. Regardless, the results of this study suggest that ethical education in science classes is effective in increasing positive attitude toward science and the ability of the students in addressing and resolving ethical problems in science and technology. As such, we strongly recommend that the science curriculum for middle school students be changed to integrate ethical issues in the science class.
This study aims at not only suggesting some ideas useful in planning and doing the sexual education in the primary schools in the near future putting into test the sexual education program which has been developed by researchers in accordance with the national education courses but also improve sexual health of the children through taking right sexual knowledge and sound sexual attitude. For this study 21 students are selected from all class of the fourth grade of the 'D' primary school at H district in KangWon-Do and have been taught the sexual education program during 6weeks, 12times. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. After the sexual education program, the sexual knowledge of the primary school children show to be significantly different from that they had before(t=-6.661, p=.000). So, this finding indicating that the sexual education program helps the children have and expand the correct sexual knowledge accordingly. 2. In order to look into any change of the sexaul attitudes of the primary school children after the sexual education program, there were significant difference(t=-3.808, p=.001). It is discovered that children come to have more affirmative and sound sexual attitude after sexual education program. As the findings of the study indicate, it may be concluded as follows: Since the sexual education program can affirmative influence on the sexual knowledge and sexual attitudes of the children, it is recommendable to start the sexual education program as early as possible in their childhood so that they can establish a sound sexual mortality for themselves. Additionally, to perform the sexual education program suitable for every stage of children should be developed, qualified teachers and the educational materials should be reinforced and added enough and institutional device should be made to execute the sexual education program systematically.
The purpose of this study analyzed the overall attitude and perception of course evaluation of nursing students, and suggested improvement direction of course evaluation. The sample consist of 428 A-university students in J province. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 program using ANOVA, t-test, and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test. As a result, it was confirmed that nursing students participated in course evaluation with a careful and correct response attitude, and course evaluation result was reliable. The instructor should share the process of improving the class by reflecting the evaluation results so that the students can recognize the purpose and importance of course evaluation. In addition, it suggested that it is necessary to develop items of a course evaluation reflecting the characteristic of nursing such as clinical practice courses and to revise the evaluation system.

This study aims to identify the effects of instruction methods on the students' knowledge and attitudes to persue an effective instruction for information literacy. For this purpose, a copyright class as a quasi-experiment is provided to students in a high school in different ways including the teacher-centered lecture and the student-centered Jigsaw cooperative learning program. As a result, Group D (Jjgsaw method) showed the highest educational effectiveness among the four groups in terms of the knowledge of copyright. the group also showed higher instructional effectiveness compared to other groups in the practical attitude, which was one of the three types of attitude to copyright.
The purposes of this study are to grasp industry vocational subject student-teachers' instruction area, compare cognitive level of cooperating teacher and student-teachers for the importance of instruction area and secure base data required to develop educational practical area of professional teachers in specialized high school. To achieve this, instruction area of instruction teacher in charge of industry vocational subject pre-teacher education was developed by document consideration and expert verification and differences of importance cognition for the area was compared between educational practice insturction teacher and student-teacher. The results are as the following. First, for the instruction areas that educational practice instruction teachers should teach student-teacher, there are 7 categories, 17 mid-fields and 85 subsections. Especially expert group suggested an opinion that areas of teacher's values and personality formation should be added to pre-teachers. And, they judged that category of school business showed low validity for educational practice instruction teacher's instruction area. Second, educational practice instruction teacher importantly cognized 'class activity', 'student instruction and class management' and 'development of desirable view of education attitude'. On the other hand, they cognized 'development and management of curriculum', 'support on educational activity', 'industrial-educational cooperation and tie with local community' and 'specialty improvement' less importantly. Student-teachers cognized 'class activity', 'student instruction and class management', 'specialty improvement', 'development of desirable view of education attitude' importantly. They cognized 'development and management of curriculum', 'support on educational activity' and 'industrial-educational cooperation and tie with local community' relatively less importantly. Third, both educational practice instruction teachers and student-teachers importantly cognized 'class activity', 'student instruction and class management' and 'development of desirable view of education attitude'. However, student-teachers importantly cognized, but educational practice instruction teachers didn't importantly cognized 'specialty improvement'. Both two group cognized 'development and management of curriculum', 'support on educational activity' and 'industrial-educational cooperation and tie with local community' less importantly.

This study investigated the analysis of examples that gifted students' realizing the learning objectives through teaching method of the teacher's questions and advice. 6 gifted students were selected to be examined with 'magic square' in class. The teacher emphasized the learning objectives without directly proposing. Whereas, the teacher proposed the learning objectives by questioning and giving advice to students. After the class, the 6 gifted students were surveyed to answer about realizing the learning objectives of mathematics (about contents, process, and attitude in mathematics learning objectives). Mathematical gifted students thought about the process that consists of deductive thinking, analogic thinking, extensive thinking, creative thinking, and critical thinking. But, they underestimated the deductive thinking. So the teacher should develop the questions and advice to teach the mathematical gifted students according to the level of them. The high level of mathematical gifted students were able to realize the value and the importance of the mathematical attitude, while the low level of mathematical gifted students were able to realize them little. For this reason, the teacher should apprehend the level of the students, and propose materials and contents of the learning. The teacher should also make the gifted students realize value, will, and personality of mathematics by questions and advice. Lastly, like it is needed in general classes, there should be a constant researches and improvements about questions of the teacher that are appropriate to each student's learning abilities and cognition ability.
The purpose of the study was to investigate how the use of graphing calculators influence on forming students' mathematical concept of algebra, students' mathematical connection, and attitude toward mathematics. First, graphing calculators give instant feedback to students as they make students compare their written answers with the results, which helps students learn equations and linear inequalities for themselves. In respect of quadratic inequalities they help students to correct wrong concepts and understand fundamental concepts, and with regard to functions students can draw graphs more easily using graphing calculators, which means that the difficulty of drawing graphs can not be hindrance to student's learning functions. Moreover students could understand functions intuitively by using graphing calculators and explored math problems volunteerly. As a result, students were able to perceive faster the concepts of functions that they considered difficult and remain the concepts in their mind for a long time. Second, most of students could not think of connection among equations, equalities and functions. However, they could understand the connection among equations, equalities and functions more easily. Additionally students could focus on changing the real life into the algebraic expression by modeling without the fear of calculating, which made students relieve the burden of calculating and realize the usefulness of mathematics through the experience of solving the real-life problems. Third, we identified the change of six students' attitude through preliminary and an ex post facto attitude test. Five of six students came to have positive attitude toward mathematics, but only one student came to have negative attitude. However, all of the students showed positive attitude toward using graphing calculators in math class. That's because they could have more interest in mathematics by the strengthened and visualization of graphing calculators which helped them understand difficult algebraic concepts, which gave them a sense of achievement. Also, students could relieve the burden of calculating and have confidence. In a conclusion, using graphing calculators in algebra and function class has many advantages : formulating mathematics concepts, mathematical connection, and enhancing positive attitude toward mathematics. Therefore we need more research of the effect of using calculators, practical classroom materials, instruction models and assessment tools for graphing calculators. Lastly We need to make the classroom environment more adequate for using graphing calculators in math classes.
This study examines the acceptability of nuclear facilities using the latent class analysis. Even though, nuclear power is useful in terms of economic and energy security aspects, it is very difficult to expand the existing nuclear power plants or build a new one. Many studies analysed the cause of unacceptability of nuclear facilities but it has not been focused how large portion of people are divided pro and con. It is very important to know the distribution of people by the attitude toward nuclear facilities in order to meet the long term National Energy Plan. Through the latent class analysis with 1,025 respondents, people are classified into three groups(favor-class, support-class, opposition-class). The favor-class is the largest group which has moderate good attitudes toward the nuclear facilities in terms of economy, cleanness. and necessity but concerns a little about safety. The second largest group is the support-class which comprises 1/4 portion of people. The people in the class show the aggressive support for the nuclear facilities. 15% of the respondents belong to the opposition-class which show the negative attitudes to expansion of neclear facilities. In order to increase the acceptability of nuclear faculties, the most urgent work for the government to do is to less people's concern about nuclear safety.
