Objectives This study aimed to investigate the effect of SJS non-resistance technique-facial palsy (SJSNRT-F) using Korean medicine treatment on facial nerve palsy through three case studies. Methods SJSNRT-F, with other Korean medicine treatments, was performed on three patients who underwent treatment at OO Korean Medicine Hospital from March 2021 to August 2021. Additionally, the House-Brackmann grading system (H-B grade) and Yanagihara's unweighted grading system (Yanagihara's score) were evaluated in these patients. Results There was a significant increase in the Yanagihara scores. Except for one patient who was discharged early, two patients showed improvement in the H-B grade. Conclusions This study suggests that Korean medicine treatment including SJSNRT-F may affect the treatment of facial nerve palsy. However, better clinical studies are needed to confirm the same.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to report a case of a woman diagnosed with post hysterectomy syndrome treated with combined Korean medical treatment. Methods A combination of treatment including chuna manual therapy, pharmacopuncture at the lumbar facet joints, acupuncture, cupping, and herbal medicine was provided for 1 month. Progress was assessed using the Numeric Rating Scale, Oswestry Disability Index, EuroQol-5Dimension, and Hot Flush Score before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the symptoms were reduced and the quality of life was enhanced, although there was no improvement in the abnormal sensation in the anterior part of the thigh. No adverse events were observed. Conclusions The findings indicate that a combination of Korean medical treatment can be a safe and effective alternative treatment in reducing LBP and hot flushes after hysterectomy.

Scoliosis is a 3-dimensional spinal deformity defined as lateral curvature of the spine in the coronal plane of more than $10^{\circ}$. This study describes a case of functional scoliosis after hip injury. In this case, the patient fell whilst inline skating (June 2015) causing severe tilting of her spine, and left hip pain. She received outpatient treatment from July 14, 2015 to December 28, 2015. For approximately 5 months, acupuncture therapy was performed to relax the tension in both hips, Chuna therapy, and foot orthosis were applied to reduce the body's imbalance. Based on X-ray images, the Cobb angle had decreased from $14.73^{\circ}$ (pretreatment) to $1.90^{\circ}$ (posttreatment). This case report suggested that Korean medicine treatment could be an effective therapeutic choice for functional scoliosis.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is finding out relation of somnipathy and Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈) Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈). Methods : 1. We reviewed medical literature about somnipathy and Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈) . Yang-yo-maek(陽?脈). 2. We studied relation of somnipathy and Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈) . Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈). Results : 1. Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈) Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈) is channel that is crossing Yin(陰) and Yang(陽). 2. The physio-pathologic phenomenons such as, 'Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈)', 'Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈)' are caused by circulatory disorder of depending qi (衛氣). 3. Sleep disoders (such as, hyposomnia, hypersomnia) are caused by the physio-pathologic phenomenon such as, 'Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈)', 'Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈)' Conclusions : 1. The period of awakening and sleeping is relative to circulation of depending qi (衛氣) and function of Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈) Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈) 2. Acupuncture therapy on Yin-gyo-maek(陰?脈) Yang-gyo-maek(陽?脈) has significant etfect to somnipathy.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to research trends In the study of osteoporosis and to establish the future direction for its study. Methods: We reviewed oriental medicine papers published in last twelve years (1990-2002). Methods : We reviewed oriental medicine papers published in last twelve years (1990-2002). Results : 1. We researched 42 papers in 12 journals and patterns of study were as follows: experimental studies were 30 (71%), reviewed studies were 8(19%), clinical studies were 2 (5%) and etc were 2 (5%). 2. The experimental studies(30) were divided into papers on efficiency testing of herbal medications (22) and herbal acupuncture (7) and etc (1). 3. The reviewed studies showed that research has been carried out in the fields of cause, pathogenesis, principles for treating disease, herbal medication, herbal acupuncture, acupuncture and moxibustion, exercise to osteoporosis. 4. The clinical studies showed that the research was carried out in the fields of follow up surveys for the herbal medication efficiency testing, the relativity of osteoporosis to other diseases. 5. In consequence of researching the case reports, there was no prescription used meaningfully. Conclusions: We need more studies of osteoporosis by reaching for specific therapy.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to report a case of one infant patient diagnosed as Sik-Gan (食癎) who was treated by Korean medical treatment. Methods We diagnosed an infant patient as Sik-Gan (食癎) and treated him with herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxa and chuna therapy while correcting his eating habit. To measure the degree of the patient's progress, the frequency and exact symptoms of seizure events, and gastrointestinal symptoms were recorded. Results Korean medical treatment reduced the patient's the frequency of seizure, and improved gastrointestinal symptoms. Conclusions A patient who has past medical history of epileptic seizures, unhealthy eating habits and gastrointestinal malfunctions is prone to have a specific form of seizure called the Sik-Gan (食癎). In this report, we have proven that variety of Korean medical treatment can considerably be effective in preventing recurring seizure events and improving the patients' gastrointestinal symptoms.

Objectives : This report intended to estimate effect taken by using Sacro-Occipital Technique on the patient with Herniation of Nucleus Pulposus(Central type). Method : From 11 May, 2005 to 30 June, 2005. The patient recived Sacro-Occipital Technique and Acupuncture therapy. Result : After being hospitalized for 50 days. the patient's Motor Grade, ODI, VAS, ROM were improved each from IV to IV+. from 26 to 20, from 10 to 2, and ROM with flexion/entension, rotation were improved each from 70'/0' to 90'/12', from 30'/40' to 45'/55'. Conclusion : We considered Sacro-Occipital Technique has an useful effect on Herniation of Nucleus Pulposus

This study was performed to report the effectiveness of oriental medical treatment on a patient with Guillain-Barre syndrome complaining both lower extremity weakness. The patient was diagnosed as Guillain-Barre syndrome and treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture, physical therapy and herbal medicine. We have evaluated the efficacy of oriental medical treatment by measuring changes of motor grade and ambulatory condition according to period of hospitalization. After treatment, motor grade and ambulatory condition were improved. These results suggest that oriental medical treatment was effective on the patient with Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the trends of acupuncture treatment on lateral epicondylitis. Methods : We investigated the recent clinical studies of acupuncture treatment for lateral epicondylitis via searching PubMed from 2007.1.1. to 2016.1.1. This study examined published years, the authors, journals, countries, types of study and classified articles by techniques of acupuncture. Results : 20 theses out of 38 were included, excluding papers duplicated or whose texts are not identified or not satisfying both acupuncture and lateral epicondylitis simultaneously. The theses were constantly published every year. Analyzed by journal, the most published journal was Zhongguo Zhen Jiu. The studies of China had the greatest number of the searched theses. The types of study were reviews, case series, and study protocol. The acupuncture technique used were Hwachim(burning acupuncture therapy), sweet bee venom pharmacopuncture, percutaneous needle electrolysis, electroacupuncture, small needle-knife, combination with local points and Tianzong(SI11), and anti-ashi-point. Conclusions : In order to develop acupuncture treatment of lateral epicondylitis, clinical studies on high level with objective evaluation scale are needed.

Objectives: The Purpose of this study is to report the effects of Korean medical treatment on patient of peroneal neuropathy caused by sitting cross-legged. Methods: The patient diagnosed as peroneal neuropathy was treated by Acupuncture, Bee Venom therapy, Herbal medicine. To evaluate the effects of Korean treatment, we used Range of Motion(ROM) of Ankle, Visual Analog Scale(VAS), Numeric Rating Scale(NRS), Ankle-Hind-foot Scale(AHS), Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging(DITI). Results: After treatment, ROM of Ankle, VAS, NRS, AHS were improved. Temperature Difference(${\Delta}T$) was decreased on DITI. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean medical treatment might be effective on sitting cross-legged patient diagnosed as Peroneal Neuropathy.
