In this paper, We investigate the search patterns that are applied to the character based word search and make the search algorithm. We used to various hangout coded set that are KS X 1001 hangeul coded set and unicode 3.0 for the character based word search algorithm. In each case, We study of efficiency of algorithms that are related to hangeul coded set.

This paper presents an algorithm to separate vowels from consonants in Korean characters captured in noisy environment andto recognize them. The algorithm has been originally developed for recognition of the usage code (which is represented by a single Korean character) in the license plates of Korean vehicles. It, however, could be easily adopted to other applications with minor changes, in which character recognition is needed and the environment is noisy. The key ideas of the algorithm are to localize the vowels utilizing Hough transformation and to separate the vowels from consonants utilizing mathematical morphology. We observed that the presented algorithm effectively separates vowels even if the vowels and consonants are joined together after thresholding. We also observed that our algorithm outperforms some conventional algorithms especially when the input images are noisy. The details of the comparison study are presented in the paper.

In this paper, we proposed an economical coding method to be applied for Hangeul character, the Korean letter, by utilizing three state transition graph. With this method, only about 3.5 biys are required in expressing a Hangeul character, which is more than 1 bit shorter than conventional codes so far introduced in order to realze extensive code compression. Hence this method will improve the rapidity and exanctitude and economy in processing Hangeul letter.

The findings from this study are summarized as follows : 1. It is questionable to define the term "Hanja" as "the Chinese Character used independently or used along with Hangul. 2. It is found to be a problem that the validity and objectivity in the selection of Hanja are lacking. 3. It is also a problem that there is neither principles nor consistency in styling of characters. 4. The system of arrangement has problems, too. The adoption of arrangement of Hanja by its Korean pronunciation results in lots of errors and mistakes. Besides, mistaken strokes and radicals produced considerable errors in the arrangement of Hanja. 5. The omission of the abbreviated Hanja in the Code can be considered to neglect the current trend of increased use of them. 6. The issue concerned with the Japanese-origin Hanja is that several number of Hanja deemed unnecessary are included.y are included.

The purpose of this study is to find the method about the design factors considering the remodeling of apartment housing. Domestic remodeling operations has been developed incessantly. Recently, instead of redevelopment and reconstruction, remodeling operations is being generalization. Therefore by considering the related building code, this study seeks the revisions and try to understand the architectural character of apartment housing and find the design factors throughout the remodeling case of apartment housing. For instance, it is to make use of the flexible partition in unit plan or consider a various house plan etc. So by analyzing these remodeling design factor, we will be able to live the residential environment more extensive than previously.

본 논문에서는 보다 실용적인 온라인 한자인식기 개발을 위하여 한자 검정 능력 1급 쓰기 수준을 모두 포함하는 한자 필기 데이터로부터 16방향의 체인코드열과 부분획의 구조를 반영하는 구조코드열을 만들어 성능평가를 하였다. 인식 방법으로는 DP 매칭 방법과 HMM을 사용하여 2,362 종류의 한자에 대해 인식 실험을 하였다. 그 결과 체인코드열을 사용한 DP 매칭 방법에 의한 결과가 96.54%로 가장 높은 인식률을 보였으며, 구조코드열을 사용하여 HMM에 의한 인식실험 결과가 95.65%로 그 뒤를 이었다. 인식 속도면에서는 체인코드 보다 코드열의 길이가 짧은 구조코드열을 사용한 방법이 상대적으로 유리했고, 클래스 당 1개의 모델을 사용한 HMM에 의한 방법이 클래스 당 복수개의 모델을 사용한 DP 매칭 방법에 비해 모델의 개수가 훨씬 적기 때문에 속도 면에서 월등히 유리해 더 효율적인 인식 성능을 보인다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다.

The character species of Abies koreana community in Mt. Halla national park, Korea, and it s nomenclature was reviewed. According to the code of phytosociological nomenclature (Barkman et al., 1986), the association name was corrected from Saso-Abietetum koreanae Yim et al. 1990 nov. in the Korean J. Ecol. 13(2): 101-130 (1990) to Saso quelpaertensi-Abietetum koreanae (Song et Nakanishi) corr. Yim et Kim 1990.

Code and object reuse is big concern for fast and efficient Virtual Reality (VR) system development. Many VR packages offer reasonably nice abstractions for various functionalities. That is, software reuse at the functional level is well practiced. Many geometry models are rarely used for main \"characters\" but mostly for incidental and decorative objects. This is because the main \"character\" objects usually exhibit certain behavior incompatible with the way the geometric model is organized. 본 연구에서는 문자 인식의 응용으로서 인쇄된 우편봉투의 주소를 인식한다. 스캐너로 입력된 우편봉투 영상으로부터 주소영역과 우편번호 영역을 분리한다. 분리된 각각의 영역에서 문자를 추출하고, 전처리로써 정규화, 특징추출 단계를 거쳐 우편번호와 주소를 각각 인식하였다. 이때, 우편번호 인식에 의하여 알 수 있는 주소와 실제로 인식한 주소의 신뢰도를 계산하여, 주소 인식 결과를 보정하는 과정을 거쳐 우편봉투의 인식을 실행하였다.

By virtue of the development of mass media, the cinema, the composite space art taking the visual and auditory elements together, exhibits the actual life of the realities, thereby having a mutually close relationship to social, cultural and economic fields and continuing to generate the fashion code as well as reflecting the image of the times. Especially, fashion style in movies delivers their image and atmosphere and becomes the means for containing the personality, spiritual world and inner thinking of the characters in the movie and inducing its plot. Therefore, this study was intended to make clear that fashion fuses and shares with a diversity of genres such as movies and the like, becomes the cultural model that proceeds to create a new culture in relation to daily life and induces and presents the trend of contemporary fashion. For this purpose, this study attempted to analyze fashion style in the movie. Lolita is the fiction published by the Russian?American writer Vladimir Nabokov($1899{\sim}1977$) in 1954. It is the fiction that portrays the unethical love between Humbert, a middleaged man, and Lolita, a girl in her 10s. It was cinematized by the director Stanley Kubrick for the first time in 1962 and revived by the movie director Adrian Lyne in 1997. The character of Lolita has a younger look like a girl and looks immature in the movie directed by the movie director Stanley Kubrick and the movie director Adrian Lyne. But the character of Lolita has the commonality that she showed an incomplete female image of having a sexually freewheeling thinking. Thereby, this study sought to prove that the created fashion style of the character in the film not only became the clue to enable us to know the time and space background in the film but also helped the film develop effectively by performing a role of portraying the character in the movie. And it attempted to present that it becomes both the foundation for leading the fashion trend shown in contemporary fashion and the code of mass culture. Fashion style of Lolita in the movie appears to be reflected diversely in mass culture as well as fashion style in the contemporary times.
