  • Configuration and data management system for weapon system research and development processes should assist concurrent engineering and collaboration activities for various documents, drawings, part informations and product structure informations. In this thesis we defined the system architecture using the CBD methodology and implemented the component based system development process. Most of the configuration and data management systems consist of three layered system architecture which use the general MVC models. In this thesis we defined four layered system architecture based on EJB structure under J2EE environments. Through the four layered system architecture, we break down the general model layer into two detailed business layers and the ordinary control layer into two system dependent layers. With these four layers, we proposed the methodology that detailed the characteristics of the components. Through the CBD approach and the component based development process, we can get the representation model and implement the actual system of the configuration and data management system for weapon system R&D.

A Study on the Network Architecture for KEPCO SCADA Systems (한국전력 스카다 시스템의 네트워크 구조에 대한 연구)

  • SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) System was first introduced to the Seoul Electricity Authority, which manages the transportation part among the three business fields that produce, transport and supply electric power in Korea. Has been using the data link with 1200 bps and 9600 bps in 5 protocols such as HARRIS 6000, BSC, HDLC, L & N and Toshiba by configuring 3 layers of EMS, SCADA and RTU computer equipments in 1: N radial form. This paper presents the OSI standard network packet flow, analyzing DataLink and Network Layer, and presents a KEPCO SCADA network model composed of X.25 high - speed communication network using 3 layers of network. We proposed a future SCADA communication structure that improved the current SCADA communication structure, defined the SCADA DB structure, introduced the concept of the remote SCADA gateway to the SCADA functional structure, applied the standard communication protocol, Multiplexing of surveillance and control in other local facilities and ensuring communication openness.

Adhesion Characteristics between Mold and Thermoplastic Polymer Film in Thermal Nanoimprint Lithography (열 나노임프린트 리소그래피에서의 몰드와 열가소성 폴리머 필름 사이의 응착 특성)

  • Adhesion tests were conducted to investigate the adhesion characteristics between mold and thermoplastic polymer film. Coating of anti-sticking layer (ASL), a kind of polymer material, imprint pressure, and separation velocity were considered as the process conditions. A piece of fused silica without patterns on its surface was used as a mold and the thermoplastic polymer films were made on Si substrate by spin-coating the commercial polymer solution such as mr-I PMMA and mr-I 7020. The ASL was derived from (1H, 1H, 2H, 2H - perfluorooctyl) trichlorosilane($F_{13}$-OTS) and coated on the fused silica mold in vapor phase. The pull-off force was measured in various process conditions and the surfaces of the mold and the polymer film were observed after separation. It was found that the adhesion characteristics between the mold and the thermoplastic polymer film and the release performance of ASL were changed according to the process conditions. The ASL was effective to reduce the pull-off force and the damage of polymer film. In cases of the mold coated with ASL, the pull-off force did not depend on imprint pressure and separation velocity.

Forecasting of Iron Ore Prices using Machine Learning (머신러닝을 이용한 철광석 가격 예측에 대한 연구)

  • The price of iron ore has continued to fluctuate with high demand and supply from many countries and companies. In this business environment, forecasting the price of iron ore has become important. This study developed the machine learning model forecasting the price of iron ore a one month after the trading events. The forecasting model used distributed lag model and deep learning models such as MLP (Multi-layer perceptron), RNN (Recurrent neural network) and LSTM (Long short-term memory). According to the results of comparing individual models through metrics, LSTM showed the lowest predictive error. Also, as a result of comparing the models using the ensemble technique, the distributed lag and LSTM ensemble model showed the lowest prediction.

  • 지금까지, 전기통신망과 장비들의 관리에 대해서는 많은 연구들이 진행되었지만, TMN 상위 계층의 서비스 관리와 비즈니스 관리에 대한 연구는 많이 수행되지 못했다. 최근 전세계적으로 TMN 상위 계층의 관리기능 구현을 위해서 CORBA 기술을 적용하고자하는 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 정보모델과 상호운용에 관한 TMN과 CORBA의 주요특징들을 비교하고, TMN 프레임웍와 효율적인 CORBA 기술 연동을 위한 플랫폼 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 구조에서, TMN 관리 정보를 CORBA IDL 인터페이스로 변환해주는 GDMO/ASN.1 - CORBA IDL 변환기가 고안, 구현되었고, JIDM의 상호 작용 변환의 구현을 위해서 TMN/CORBA 게이트웨이 또한 고안되었다. 그리고 이러한 기능의 확장을 위해서 모듈 형식으로 라이브러리들과 코드 생성기들이 설계, 구현되었다.Abstract Up to now, a lot of efforts have been made for the management of telecommunication networks and equipment, but less effort has been made for the realization of higher-layer service and business management. There are recently worldwide growing interests for applying CORBA technology for the realization of higher layer Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) management functions. In this paper, we compare the features of TMN and CORBA with respect to information model, and operational behavior. And then, we propose a platform architecture for the efficient integration of CORBA technology within TMN framework. Within platform architecture, GDMO/ASN.1 to IDL translator has been designed and implemented for translating TMN management information into CORBA IDL interface. The TMN/CORBA gateway is also designed for realization of the interaction translation specification of JIDM task force. The libraries and code generators have been designed and implemented in a modular fashion to provide the functional extensibility.

Predicting the Future Price of Export Items in Trade Using a Deep Regression Model (딥러닝 기반 무역 수출 가격 예측 모델)

  • Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) annually publishes the trade data in South Korea under the guidance of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in South Korea. The trade data usually contains Gross domestic product (GDP), a custom tariff, business score, and the price of export items in previous and this year, with regards to the trading items and the countries. However, it is challenging to figure out the meaningful insight so as to predict the future price on trading items every year due to the significantly large amount of data accumulated over the several years under the limited human/computing resources. Within this context, this paper proposes a multi layer perception that can predict the future price of potential trading items in the next year by training large amounts of past year's data with a low computational and human cost.

Effect of Groundwater Flow on the Behavior of Circular Vertical Shaft (지하수 유동을 고려한 원형수직구 거동분석)

  • This study investigates the behavior of a circular vertical shaft wall in the absence and presence of a groundwater table. The effects of wall deflection, backfill settlement, and earth pressure distribution around the circular vertical shaft caused by sequential excavations were quantified. The vertical shaft was numerically simulated for different excavation depths of the bearing layer (weathered soil, weathered rock, soft rock) and transient and steady-state flows in the absence of a groundwater table. The backfill settlements and influential area were much larger under transient flow conditions than in steady-state flow. On the contrary, the horizontal wall deflection was much larger in steady state than in the transient state. Moreover, less settlement was induced as the excavation depth increased from weathered soil to weathered rock to the soft rock layer. Finally, the horizontal stresses under steady- and transient-state flow conditions were found to exceed Rankine's earth pressure. This effect was stronger in the deeper rock layers than in the shallow soil layers.

  • The field of the web service orchestration introduced to generate a valuable service by reusing single services. Recently, it suggests rule-based searching and composition by the AI (Artificial Intelligence) instead of simple searching or orchestration based on the IOPE(Input, Output, Precondition, Effect) to implement the Semantic web as the web service of the next generation. It introduce a AOP programming paradigm from existing object-oriented programming paradigm for more efficient modularization of software. In this paper, we design a dynamic web service orchestration and invocation scheme applying Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) and Reflection for Semantic web. The proposed scheme makes use of the Reflection technique to gather dynamically meta data and generates byte code by AOP to compose dynamically web services. As well as, our scheme shows how to execute composed web services through dynamic proxy objects generated by the Reflection. For performance evaluation of the proposed scheme, we experiment on search performance of composed web services with respect to business logic layer and user view layer.

  • The purpose of this study was to arrange the korean women's hair styles of the beginning of 21st century and make hair style image making chart to use personal image making consulting data through analyze actress hair styles of broadcasting TV drama. To accomplish this purposes, picked up the two most popular dramas per each broadcasting stations, KBS1, KBS2, MBC, SBS, in february 2004. and analyzed and arranged hair styles of actress and at the last made the hair style image making chart. The results of the research are as belows. 1. Hair trends of february 2004. were Modern Sophisticated, Active and Romantic. 2. The results of three classifications of hair style trends, form, color, accessory, were as belows. 1) Form : Layer, left part, straight, low wave, long hair, no volme, bang were in vogue. Generally, Modern Sophisticated, Active, Romantic feeling were in vogue. 2) Color : Black, brown, two tone color were in vogue. Generally Modern Sophisticated, Romantic, Active feeling were in vogue. 3) Accessory : Hair bands & pins were in vogue. Generally these gave the Modern, Active feeling. 3. Color Culture of Japanese Medieval Age: Focusing on Kamakura & Muromachi Periods (일본 중세의 색채 문화: 가마쿠라·무로마치 시대를 중심으로)

  • This study investigated the color culture in the Japanese Medieval Age. The Japanese Medieval Age included the Kamakura period (1180-1333) and Muromachi period (1336-1573), and the leading group transitioned from the Kuge families to the Buke families. The taboos about colors from ancient times became nominal, and forbidden colors, such as purple, celadon, and red, became the colors of the samurai, leading to beautiful soldier gears that were unparalleled in history. In the Kamakura period, colors that conveyed a strong impression were created and preferred with the combination of a samurai's reasonable spirit and zen thoughts. The period was also called "the era of hari", and cross dyeing based on basic colors such as suou (red), ai (blue), and kuchinasi (yellow) was popular. In both the Kamakura and Muromachi periods, conspicuous and strong colors were sought for costumes, and embroidery was used with gold leaf, silver leaf, gold threads, silver threads, and background color. The colors of costume preferred by Buke men in the period included green, blue, and brown. In the characteristics of the kosode, the sugan and hitadare were used for men's formal dress, while kosode was used for the grooming of the working class. In these periods, additionally, the working class began to be socially engaged in actively wearing the one-layer kosode, which became popular, and the characteristics of the Japanese Medieval Age, during which functionality and practicality was valued, were also reflected in the dressing.
