SOME PROPERTIES OF BILINEAR MAPPINGS ON THE TENSOR PRODUCT OF C -ALGEBRAS

  • Let 𝓐 and 𝓑 be two unital C-algebras and 𝓐 ⊗ 𝓑 be their algebraic tensor product. For two bilinear maps on 𝓐 and 𝓑 with some specific conditions, we derive a bilinear map on 𝓐 ⊗ 𝓑 and study some characteristics. Considering two 𝓐 ⊗ 𝓑 bimodules, a centralizer is also obtained for 𝓐 ⊗ 𝓑 corresponding to the given bilinear maps on 𝓐 and 𝓑. A relationship between orthogonal complements of subspaces of 𝓐 and 𝓑 and their tensor product is also deduced with suitable example.

  • The paper making process itself is a typical nonlinear process with complicated dynamics. In the application of advanced control-methods especially for the grade change operations the nonlinear process is linearized to give suitable linear models to be used in the control strategies. However, the use of the linear model is limited within short range containing steady-state operating conditions for grade change operation. In this paper a bilinear model for the nonlinear grade change processes is presented. We can see that the dynamic behavior for grade change operations can be effective analyzed by using multivariable bilinear model.

쌍일차 모델을 이용한 폐열 스팀 보일러의 액위 적응 예측 제어 (Adaptive predictive level control of waste heat steam boiler based on bilinear model)

  • An adaptive predictive level control of waste heat steam boiler was studied by using mathematical models considering the inverse response. The simulation experiments of the model identification were performed by using linear and bilinear models. From the results of simulations it was found that the bilinear model represented the actual dynamic behavior of steam boiler very well. ARMA model was used in the model identification and the adaptive predictive controller. To verify the performance and effectiveness of the adaptive predictive controller used in this study the simulation results of the adaptive predictive level control for waste heat steam boiler based on bilinear model were compared to those of P, PI and PID controller. The results of simulations showed that the adaptive predictive controller provides the fast arrival to setpoint of liquid level.

  • In between of linear and nonlinear systems lies a large class of bilinear systems. The major importance of bilinear systems lies in the applications to the real world systems such as many physical processes, many biological process, some economic process. Despite vast application of bilinear systems they have not been studied extensively in the domain of singularly perturbations except for a few minor results. In this paper we will utilize singular peturbations theory to obtain the closed-loop optimal solution for discrete-time bilinear systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 반복법에 의한 쌍선형 시스템의 제어기 설계방법을 제안한다. 보조수열을 갖는 반복과정은 쌍선형 시스템으로부터 선형시변 시스템을 구성하는 과정에서 정의되고, 최적의 2차 가격함수를 갖는 쌍선형 시스템에서 궤환 제어기를 설계하기 위한 최적화 과정이 Riccati 접근법과 관련된 표현에 의해 주어진다. 제안된 방법에 의해서 개선된 성능과 우수한 수렴성이 성취됨을 시뮬레이션 결과에서 보인다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Bilinear Pairing을 사용한 효율적인 신원기반 다중 수신자 암호 기법을 제 안 한다. 제안 기법은 암호화 과정에서 Pairing 연산을 필요로 하지 않으며 복호화 과정에서 단 한번의 Pairing 연산만을 요구한다. 뿐만 아니라, 제안기법을 이용하여 Subset-Cover framework 기반의 효율적인 스테이트리스 (stateless) 공개키 브로드캐스트 암호 기법을 제시한다.

  • Let Mα be a bilinear fractional maximal operator and BMα be a fractional maximal operator associated with the bilinear Hilbert transform. In this paper, the compactness on weighted Lebesgue spaces are considered for commutators of bilinear fractional maximal operators; these commutators include the fractional maximal linear commutators Mjα,β and BMjα,β (j = 1, 2), the fractional maximal iterated commutator ${\mathcal{M}}_{{\alpha},{\vec{b}}}$, and $BM_{{\alpha},{\vec{b}}}$, where b ∈ BMO(ℝd) and ${\vec{b}}\;=\;(b_1,b_2)\;{\in}\;BMO({\mathbb{R}}^d)\;{\times}\;BMO({\mathbb{R}}^d)$. In particular, we improve the well-known results to a larger scale for 1/2 < q < ∞ and give positive answers to the questions in [2].

Bilinear Z-변환을 사용한 능동SC 려파기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Active SC Filters Using Bilinear Z-Transform)

  • 능동RC여파기회로내의 모든 저항은 SC로 대체할 수 있다. SC는 저항에 비해 온도특성 및 선형특성이 좋고 실리콘 면적이 훨씬 적게 소요된다. 본 논문에서는 Bilinear Z -변환을 사용해서 능동RC여파기로부터 제동SC여파기를 실현할 수 있는 일반적 방법이 제시되었다. Bilinear Z-변환을 사용한 SC여파법은 기존 방법으로 실현이 곤란했던 FDNR여파기나 Gyrator여파기도 실현할 수 있으며 사용 주파수가 높아진다. 실험결과를 통해 능동RC여파기의 응답특성과 능동SC여파기의 응답특성이 비슷함을 확인하였다.

등가선형 및 이선형 납-고무받침 모델을 적용한 면진된 원전구조물의 지진 취약도 해석 (Seismic Fragility Analysis of Seismically Isolated Nuclear Power Plant Structures using Equivalent Linear- and Bilinear-Lead Rubber Bearing Model)

  • In order to increase seismic performance of nuclear power plant (NPP) in strong seismic zone, lead-rubber bearing (LRB) can be applied to seismic isolation system of NPP structures. Simple equivalent linear model as structural analysis model of LRB is more widely used in initial design process of LRB than a bilinear model. Seismic responses for seismically isolated NPP containment structures subjected to earthquakes categorized into 5 different soil-site classes are calculated by both of the equivalent linear- and bilinear- LRB models and compared each others. It can be observed that the maximum displacements of LRB and shear forces of containment in the case of the equivalent linear LRB model are larger than those in the case of bilinear LRB model. From the seismic fragility curves of NPP containment structures isolated by LRB, it can be observed that seismic fragility in the case of equivalent linear LRB model are about 5~30 % larger than those in the case of bilinear LRB model.
