The massive structures are not free to move with vibration, differential settlement, thermal stresses because, construction and expansion joint, crack etc., can be large enough to cause leakage as deformation of waterproofing. It has been depended on the test method of tensile/tear strength which is waterproofing performance as behavior of concrete structure crack. However, not to practically confirm the creep applied to concrete surface, even waterproofing membrane have more performance than definite strength and elasticity. Therefore, in this study will focus on the test method to consider a resistance performance about loose adhesion and deformation of waterproofing and behavior of concrete structure as construction/expansion joint, crack. Performance test method on the influence as behavior of concrete structure crack is to choose waterproofing materials and construction method which possible to confront with behavior of 50mm crack in the atmosphere and low temperature. Examine the deformation of waterproofing membrane and loose adhesion which can occur to structure in general job site, suggest standard testing method to analyze correlation waterproofing membrane and structure with 5-types of materials used in this study, such as Adhesion membrane and sheet complex, sheet and urethane complex, self-adhesive sheet, spray poly-urea, spray membrane of rubberized Asphalt.

In this study, static pile load tests with load transfer measurement were accomplished in the field. Yield pile capacity (or ultimate pile capacity) determined by load-settlement-time relationship was determined and axial load transfer behavior was analyzed. In the test for the four test piles were behaved as end bearing pile but ratios of skin friction to total pile capacity were 27%∼33%.

The purpose of this study was to test the fitness and explainable power of TPB-SE model to the behavior of breast self examination and it was to examine effectiveness of education for Intention and behavior of breast self examination. The subjects were 122 womens under baby sitting teachers' training programs at "S"college on Po Hang city, Kyung Pook province from May 10, 1998 through October 17, 1998. Among 122 subjects, 61 were placed in experimental group and 61 in control group. The experimental group was treated by researcher who administered booklet, slide and breast model. Collected data were analyzed through $X^2$-test, t-test, MANOVA, ANCOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient via SPSS/PC and applied LISREL 8.0 programs to test TPB-SE model. The result of this study was summarized as follows: 1. TPB-SE model with additions of self efficacy from TPB fits well for predictive factors of behavior of breast self examination and it also fits well for data (GFI=.91, $R^2$=.45). 2. Behavior score of breast self examination in the experimental group with already educated with breast self examination was significantly higher than that of control group (Wilks's value=.711, p=000). Through the results of this study, TPB-SE model with additions of self efficacy from TPB fits well for predictive factors of behavior of breast self examination and the education of breast self examination was effective to improving intention and behavior of breast self examination. I herewith reached final conclusions that the behavior of breast self examination should be regarded as one of health behavior for all women and the health education to women for breast self examination will be important job role for all nurses. In addition to above, the intervention through effective education designed for improving attitude, subjective norm, perceived control, self efficacy and intentions will be necessary step for any improvement of women' health behavior.

This study was carried out to examine the effects of school safety education on the safety behavior among elementary school students. Sixty-two 4th grade students were sampled from an elementary school in Pohang city and divided into one experimental group and one control group. The safety education has been provided to the experimental group for 4 weeks The data were collected before, just after, and 8 weeks after the education. In the pre-test, the general characteristics and safety behavior between two groups were measured. The experimental group was given school safety education twice a week for 4weeks. They also filled out the self behavior check list. In the post-test and follow up-test safety behavior was collected. The data analysis was done using $X^2$-test. t-test. Repeated measures ANOVA, analysis of simple main effect and time contrast methods, they were processed with an SPSS Win 9.0/pc. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) There were no differences between experimental group and control group on the general characteristics and safety behavior in the pre-test. 2) The hypothesis: 'The experimental group which was given school safety education will show higher scores on safety behavior than the control group which was not given this was supported(F=6.43 p=0.01). 3) The subhypothesis 1 : 'The scores on the indoor safety behavior of the experimental group which was given school safety education will show higher than those of the control group which were given this was supported(F=3.59 p=0.03). 4) The subhypothesis 2 : 'The scores on the outdoor safety behavior of the experimental group which was given, school safety education will show higher than those of the control group which was not given this was supported(F=5.70 p =0.00). In consequence, the experimental group which was given school safety education scored higher on safety behavior than the control group. Therefore, school safety education should continue to encourage safety behavior among elementary school students.

The cyclic plate load test were peformed to determine the behavior of reinforced soft ground with multiple layers of geogrid. Five series of test were conducted with varying the soil profile conditions which including the ground level, type of soil, and the thickness of each soil layer. The plate load test equipment was slightly modified to apply the cyclic load. Based on the cyclic plate load test results, the bearing capacity ratio(BCR), subbase modules, shear modules, the elastic rebound ratio, and reinforcing parameters are presented.

The drop type impact test and finite element analysis are established for examining the buckling behavior of a square tube under the lateral impact load. Based on these results, the effects by the boundary conditions for supporting the structure are reviewed, which are as follows. One is pinned condition by screw; the other is fixed by welding. The critical impact force and acceleration by test are nearly same between two cases. However, the critical impact velocity of the pinned condition is higher than that of the fixed case. Therefore, the dynamic buckling behavior of a pinned structure is better than the fixed condition in view of critical impact velocity. These test and analysis results will be adaptable for predicting the dynamic structural integrity of a tube structure not only the axial impact event but the lateral impact event.

The purpose of the present study was to explore the proper method for animal stroke model of Oriental medicine To this end, brain ischemia was induced by distal middle cerebral artery occlusion(dMCAO) and proximal middle cerebral artery occlusion(pMCAO) and evaluated with the method of Triphenyl Tetrazolium Chloride (TTC) staining and Swimming Behavior Test. Results demonstrated that first, infarct size and volume of pMCAO group were significantly bigger that those of dMCAO group. Second, analysis of swimming behavior test revealed that the percentage of left turning angles of pMCAO was significantly bigger than that of dMCAO. Third, during swimming behavior test, there were peculiar traces of small successive circles that represent motor dysfunction and conscious disturbance among dMCAO group. The results of the study thus indicate that non-invasive intraluminal method of pMCAO was the appropriate animal stroke model for Oriental medicine in the light of brain ischemia as hemiplesia and conscious disturbance.

The purpose of this study was to classify cosmetics shopping propensity and analyze the relationship between cosmetics shopping propensity typology, cosmetics behavior, and purchasing behavior of female cosmetics consumers. Questionnaires were administered to 455 famale consumers living in Deagu and Kyungbook province. Data were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, $X^2$-test, ANOVA, and Duncan-test. The findings are as follows. Cosmetics shopping propensity typologies of female consumers were classified into four groups such as economic, band loyalty, passive, and impulse display shopping. In the relationship of the cosmetics shopping propensity was related to the sub-variables of cosmetics behavior. Cosmetics shopping propensity groups showed different all the sub-variables of cosmetics behavior factors. Cosmetics shopping propensity groups showed connected with the sub-variables of cosmetics purchasing behavior factors.

The purpose of this study is to analyze housewives’ cognition, usage, and management behavior of credit cards according to home management behavior pattern. The sample of this study was selected from the housewives’ living in Seoul who has credit cards. After class-analyzation of the sample, 523 out of 612 repondents were finally selected data. The data were analyzed by the statical methods such as frequency, mean, percentile, Factor Analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan’s multiple range test, Person’s Correlation, and Multiple Regression Analysis through the SAS program package. The major findings of this study are as followers : First, housewives’ usage and management behavior of credit cards was a positive relationship between home management behavior pattern. Second, housewives’ cognition of credit cards showed a significant positive relationship with usage and management behavior of credit card. Third, the most influencial variables on housewives’usage and management behavior of credit cards were their value and home management behavior pattern.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of an education program on health promotion behavior for students with hearing impairments. Method: For this study a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The three components of the study were: 1) the recognition of the importance of health promotion behavior, 2) formation of supportive networks, and 3) practice of health promotion behavior. The study population consisted of 38 students with hearing impairments (experimental group [19], control group [19]). The program was provided to students in the experimental group for 50-120 minutes, once a week for 3 weeks. Descriptive statistics, $X^2$-test, t-test, Fisher's exact test, and ANCOVA were used to analyze the data. Results: Perceived social support and health promotion behavior, but not self efficacy, were significantly different between the two groups. Conclusion: The result of this study indicate that this education program for health promotion behavior was effective for promoting perceived social support and health promotion behavior in students with hearing impairments, but further continuous research is needed to identify effective interventions to promote health behavior in students with hearing impairments and to allow for generalization of the results of this study.
