  • Recently the consideration for occupants' security has been raised as very important design element from the fire by building's large sized, higher storied, and its compounded. But the domestic Laws regulated the predicative laws according to the technical standard which has no difference from the past domestic evacuation regulations. Therefore when big fire occurs, it is not enough to guarantee for occupants to escape safely. Specially since domestic escape relevant laws are divided into Architect relevant law and fire fighting relevant law, it has caused to bring various problems. So This study will show the problems of the evacuation regulation which is registrated in the Architect relevant law and fire fighting relevant law. And also later, when Architect escape relevant laws re-registrate, this study will be used as foundational materials.

  • The influence due to metallic particle contaminated on spacer surface is remarkable in the decreasing of dielectric strength in $SF_6$ GIS. In relation with this problem, We studied, AC flash-over voltage characteristics and breakdown mechanism are investigated under metallic particle initiated condition in $SF_6$ gas by varying the particle position, particle shape with a plane-plane electrode. The main results arc as follows 1. The small amount of the metallic particle in the gap do not make flash-over voltage to be influence, but the significant decrease of th flash-overed voltage is result in case of the big and long size of the metallic paraticle. 2. Influence of the flash-over voltage are lowest in the mid and are highest in the electrode of metallic particle position. 3. In case of the initiated metallie particle, The more the pressure are high, the more the recluced ratio of flash-over voltage are high. 4. The metallic particle shape which results in the reduced flash-over voltage forced the critical pressure to move in to the region of low pressure. 5. The existance of the metallic particle on the upper electrode side and high pressure make the decreasing ratio of flash-over voltage bigger than that of the ground side electrode.

  • The purposes of natural science museums are to educate the general public on the principles and application of science, and help them understand various aspects of science technology. Data should be analyzed by considering these educational aspects of exhibition, and the methods of presenting exhibits should be decided. Accordingly, the composition of exhibition contents with various exhibition elements has an important role at natural science museums. The relation and structure of exhibition themes are significant factors in helping visitors understand the principles of science and a system of viewing circulation can be used as an important tool for understanding the flow of exhibition. In other words, at the planning stage for the composition of exhibition contents, the relation of exhibition themes as well as the circulation patterns of viewers can induce active viewing behaviors. Therefore, centering on the patterns of viewing circulation as well as on the connectivity of exhibition themes at natural science museums, the purposes of this research are: 1) to conceptualize the composition of exhibition contents; and 2) to find elements that can induce active viewing behaviors by analyzing visitors' viewing behaviors. This research was establishing an analytical indicator of contact for viewing behaviors observed from the composition of exhibition scenarios, the active viewing patterns of engagement, first contact, and repeated contact were analyzed. First, a composition pattern with a high participation rate, in contact with exhibits, was found to induce an overall-viewing circulation and have a big ring of the composition of exhibition themes. Second, by inducing a partial-viewing circulation pattern, a high rate of first contacts was observed from a ring pattern of theme connection. Even for the structure with theme connection with depth, a high frequency of contacts with various exhibits was found when exhibition themes have a ring pattern. Third, the repeated contacts were mostly found in the form of scenarios, which has a successive structure of ring and cross patterns.

  • The purpose of this study is to correct data on 3 intersection ranging from Kwangchun INT. to Nongsung INT. by the means of VTR recording and site survey and to measure the responsiveness of performance index by diversifying the platoon dispersion factor in signal progression simulation. The results are as follows : 1. The value of platoon dispersion factor was 0.28-0.33. The value in up stream is lower than that of in down stream even on the same intersection. 2. The platoon index showed big changes, though performance index didn't according to platoon dispersion factor. Therefore the value of platoon dispersion factor which is inner variable in T7F can be fixed for 0.34. 3. There was only little divergence in performance index changes according to platoon dispersion factor in designing the progression or T7F model.

  • As IoT devices increase exponentially, minimizing MIMO interference and increasing transmission capacity for sending and receiving IoT information through multiple antennas remain the biggest issues. In this paper, secret key-level distribution mechanism using deep learning is proposed to minimize MIMO-based IoT communication noise. The proposed mechanism minimizes resource loss during transmission and reception process by dispersing IoT information sent and received through multiple antennas in batches using deep learning. In addition, the proposed mechanism applied a multidimensional key distribution processing process to maximize capacity through multiple antenna multiple stream transmission at base stations without direct interference between the APs. In addition, the proposed mechanism synchronizes IoT information by deep learning the frequency of use of secret keys according to the number of IoT information by applying the method of distributing secret keys in dimension according to the number of frequency channels of IoT information in order to make the most of the multiple antenna technology.

  • The effect of $CO_2$-treatment on interrupting diapause of Bombus ignitus was examined to provide a means for year-round rearing of the bumblebee. When mated young queens were exposed to 65% or 99% $CO_2$ for 30 min daily during two consecutive days, oviposition rate increased to 75% and 77%, respectively, comparing 50% in $CO_2$-untreated queens. At the same time, the days needed to first oviposition shortened to 17-18 days in $CO_2$-treated queens, comparing to 30 days in $CO_2$-untreated queens. $CO_2$-treatment at the second day after mating was appropriate to the oviposition and colony development. $CO_2$-treatment showed a positive effect on the oviposition and colony development, but less than them of overwintered queen in numbers of produced progeny. It can be concluded that $CO_2$-treatment to B. ignitus is insufficient to produce commercial grade bumblebee colony in spite of its capability for promoting oviposition, because the treatment failed to form a big colony.

  • This study reviewed different results according to the selection of viewpoints and considerations of the neighborhood in the analysis of view to regulate the height of buildings. To do this, 4 cases were set according to the analytical methodology and a GIS simulation was performed. Characteristics of each methodology were compared and analyzed by simulated values with ANOVA(analysis of variance) and post-hoc analysis. First, the method using moving viewpoints was found to be appropriate for the regulation of building height as it could reflect basic characteristics of landscape which was sequential and it did not show big difference in analysis result according to situational setting. Second, the method using grid viewpoints showed a problem that viewpoints at left and right sides viewed ridges of other mountains than the background mountains of the target land. Additionally, the simulation method that induces three-dimensional cross-sections between multiple sight-surface and virtual construction points created at viewpoints used in this study was found to be useful in the simulation review with various settings as it induced the marginal height of the spot quantitatively.

  • Background: Ecologists continue to investigate the factors that potentially affect the pattern and magnitude of tree damage during catastrophic windstorms in forests. However, there still is a paucity of research on which trees are more vulnerable to direct damage by winds rather than being knocked down by the fall of another tree. We evaluated this question in a mixed hardwood-softwood forest within the Big Thicket National Preserve (BTNP) of southeast Texas, USA, which was substantially impacted by Hurricane Rita in September 2005. Results: We showed that multiple factors, including tree height, shade-tolerance, height-to-diameter ratio, and neighborhood density (i.e., pre-Rita stem distribution) significantly explained the susceptibility of trees to direct storm damage. We also found that no single factor had pervasive importance over the others and, instead, that all factors were tightly intertwined in a complex way, such that they often complemented each other, and that they contributed simultaneously to the overall susceptibility to and patterns of windstorm damage in the BTNP. Conclusions: Directly damaged trees greatly influence the forest by causing secondary damage to other trees. We propose that directly and indirectly damaged (or susceptible) trees should be considered separately when assessing or predicting the impact of windstorms on a forest ecosystem; to better predict the pathways of community structure reorganization and guide forest management and conservation practices. Forest managers are recommended to adopt a holistic view that considers and combines various components of the forest ecosystem when establishing strategies for mitigating the impact of catastrophic winds.

  • To study the possibility of attraction magnetic forces to expand maxillary arch, we used 2 big adult dogs, 2 small puppies, 1 small adult dog as experiments, and 1 small adult dog as a control. We measured the intercanine width and intermolar width and histologically observed in the suture and cervical and apex region of teeth and took occlusal X-rays to observe separation of suture line in the maxilla. The results were as follows: 1. Expansion velocities of intercanine (0.25mm/day) and intermolar widths (0.23mm/day) in puppies were faster than those (0.135mm/day, 0.09mm/day) in adults. 2. In all experiments in adults (0.135mm/day) and puppies (0.25mm/day), expansion velocity of intercanine widths were faster than those (0.09mm/day, 0.23mm/day) of intermolar width. 3. In all experiments ectatic changes were observed and cellularities of fibroblast increased in the suture line. Only in adults dogs the separations of palatal suture were observed in the occlusal X-ray view. 4. In the puppies bony deposition was particularly observed in the suture line and micro-bony fragments were often observed. 5. In the all experiments no root resorption was observed in the cervical and root area, but normal root resorption due to eruption of permanent teeth was observed in the puppies.
