  • This paper deal with control and design of 50,000rpm class Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB) system for high speed precision motor. In the design of AMB system, the design parameters adopted high robust rotor shaft, Active Magnetic Bearing, sensor and control system. In the design of Magnetic Bearing, 2-D Finite Element Method(FEM) is used and transfer matrix method is using for rotor dynamics. The control accuracy of high speed AMB system is demonstrated by experimentations.

  • An optimum design method for hybrid control systems is proposed in this study. By considering both active and passive control systems as a combined or a hybrid system, the optimization of the hybrid system can be achieved simultaneously. In the proposed approach, we consider design parameters of active control devices and the elements of the feedback gain matrix as design variables for the active control system. Required quantity of the added dampers are also treated as design variables for the passive control system. In the proposed method, the cost of both active and passive control devices, the required control efforts and dynamic responses of a target structure are selected as objective functions to be minimized. To effectively address the multi-objective optimization problem, we adopt a preference-based optimization model and apply a genetic algorithm as a numerical searching technique. As an example to verify the validity of the proposed optimization technique, a wind-excited 20-storey building with hybrid control systems is used and the results are presented.

  • 능동 여파기는 고집적화를 통한 소형화 추세에 있는 고주파 회로 block에 있어서 가장 핵심적인 부분중의 하나로 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으며 다수의 논문들이 발표되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 공진기와 공진기를 연 결하고 있는 인버터를 능동소자로 대체하여 여파기를 설계하는 방법을 제시하였다. 기존의 논문에서도 본 방 법으로 연구된 사례가 있지만, 능동소자 및 능동회로로 구성된 인버터의 성능을 이론적으로 분석하지 않고 증폭기 block으로 사용하였기 때문에 여파기 성능에 미치는 영향을 고려하지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 능동소자가 갖는 특성을 해석하여 기존의 고주파 여파기 회로 설계방식에 그대로 이용할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 설계된 3단 능동 여파기의 특성은 중심 주파수 865 MHz, 대역폭 75 MHz, 삽입 이득 24 MHz, 잡음지수는 2.5 d dB이하를 보였다.

리던던시 기법을 활용한 신뢰성 설계 대안 분석 (Alternative Analysis of Reliability Design using Redundancy Technique)

  • In this paper we proposed the alternative analysis of reliability design using redundancy technique. First, we presented the process for establishing the reliability design alternative analysis process considering the active redundancy and the standby redundancy. and then, the case analysis of A driving equipment was performed in accordance with the reliability design alternative analysis process presented. In case the series reliability design result is not met with the reliability target value. so, the target item for redundancy design of A driving equipment were selected as items with a severity of two or higher. The redundancy design applied with active and standby redundancy techniques were analyzed using BlockSim software. As a result, it was analyzed that reliability design to active redundancy with one of two elements required for A driving equipment is the most efficient compared to the target value of reliability. The results of this study can be usefully used before the reliability design is performed.

  • 본 논문에서는 능동 현가장치의 해석 및 설계에 강인제어 이론을 적용하여 현가장치설계에 응용 할 수 있는 이론 및 실험적 제어장치 적용에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 최근의 현가장치설계에서는 강성과 감쇠를 능동적으로 제어하는 기술의 적용이 일반화 되고 있으며, 다른 여러 종류의 차량 안정성제어 장치와의 연계성이 높아짐에 따라, 제어 시스템설계에서 보다 내구성이 강하고 제어효과의 응답성이 빠르며 정도 또한 높은 제어장치의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 전륜 및 후륜의 위치와 주행속도관계에 따른 능동현가시스템을 해석하여 위와 같은 빠른 응답성과 높은 정도의 제어가 가능한 제어시스템을 해석, 설계하기 위하여 능동 현가 제어시스템의 적용에 관한 고찰을 하였다. 그리고 제어대상시스템에 대한 능동 제어시스템을 설계하기위한 모델링 및 적용방법을 수식적으로 해석하였으며, 능동 현가장치의 제어시스템설계에 중요한 내외란성 향상을 위한 강인제어시스템설계에 적용하는 방법에 관해 고찰하였다.

빌딩간 연결을 통한 복합제어시스템의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of Hybrid Control System through Inter-Building Connection)

  • This study deals with the optimal design of a hybrid control system composed of a combination of active control system and passive control system for effective seismic performance improvement of two adjacent structures. The proposed hybrid control system adopts a configuration of installing an active control device in one building and connecting two adjacent structures with a passive control device so that the one-side active control force can be bi-directionally applied to both buildings through the passive connecting devices. In order to derive the optimal performance of the proposed system, the design parameters of the passive and active control systems were searched using the genetic algorithm. Numerical simulations of 10-story and 8-story buildings have been performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique. For the purpose of comparison, the conventional independent control system with two identical active control systems being installed separately for each structure was also optimally designed and its seismic response has been evaluated as well. From the comparative results of the two control systems, it is demonstrated that the proposed hybrid control system requires larger control force for its one-side active control device than the conventional independent control system does for each of both-side active devices, but quite less than the total control force required for both-side devices of the independent control system, while maintaining similar seismic performance. Therefore, the proposed system is more economical and reliable than the conventional independent control system with two identical active devices.

최근 스포츠웨어의 소재경향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fabric Trend in Sports Wear)

  • The recent trend of Sports Wear is seeking functionality and fashion at the same time, where the spread of sportism becomes caual style leading street fashion. Sports Wear is classified into active Sports Wear and Sports casual Wear, in which active Sports Wear is expanded to a mixture with Sports casual wear. The purpose of this study is to research the trend of materials used in active Sports Wear and Sports casual wear. Materials used for jacket/jumper, pants and t-shirts of active Sports Wear and Sports casual wear, and high-tech functional materials used for active Sports Wear have been analyzed. The results of the study are the following: a) Most of the materials used for Sports Wear are polyester, nylon, cotton, and a mixture of cotton and polyester. Active Sports Wear uses functional materials and texture such as Dri-Fit, which absorbs and dries fast, whereas Sports casual wear satin, cire and denim has been used to keep up with the trend rather than focusing in functionality: b) companies such as Nike and Adidas have used many high-tech materials to emphasize the functionality of Sports Wear, while Puma stresses on fashion rather than function, however uses spandex in order for the consumer to feel comfortable during physical activities; c) active Sports Wear in jacket/jumper, pants and t-shirts uses functional material and texture, however Sports casual wear uses satin and cire to keep up with the fashion trend rather than functionality; d) and Nike uses high-tech funtional materials for its Sports Wear in therma-fit, Clima-fit, Dri-fit and storm-fit, whereas Adidas uses Clirna-lite, Clirna-proof, Clima-warm, and Clirna-cool in their active Sports Wear.

  • The web-based group collaborative systems are emerging as enterprise-wide information systems. Since data in group collaborative systems are apt to be shared among multiple concurrent users and modified simutaneously by them, the web-based group collaborative systems must support synchronous collaboration in order to provide users with synchronized and consistent views of shared data. This Paper proposes an active web server which can facilitate synchronous collaboration in web-based group collaborative systems. To accomplish such a goal, the active web server manages dependency relationships between shared data and web browsers referencing them and actively propagates changing details of the shared data to all web browsers referencing them. And, this paper examines usefullness and effectiveness of the active web server to apply it to the ball-bearing design example of concurrent engineering design systems. The prototype system of the active web server is developed on a commercial Object-oriented Database Management System (ODBMS) called OBJECTSTORE using the C++ programming language.

  • 네트워크에 대한 요구는 점차적으로 복잡해지고 그 수가 증가하고 있는 상태이다. 이를 극복하기 위해 현존하는 네트워크 노드의 구조를 프로그래밍이 가능하도록 하는 능동 네트워크 기술이 등장하게 되었다. 이것은 사용자 요구 기능을 수행할 수 있는 프로그램 코드를 전송 및 실행함으로써 통신망에 새로운 서비스를 신속하고 경제적으로 도입하여 망 자원들을 보다 적절하게 활용할 수 있도록 하는 기술 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 능동 네트워크 상에서 능동센서의 기능 및 동작 방식을 기술하기 위한 프로그래밍 언어를 제안하고 이러한 언어를 기반으로 능동센서를 용이하게 다룰 수 있는 능동센서 인터프리터를 설계 및 구현한다.
