사회조사를 위한 표본설계를 할 때 표본의 크기를 얼마로 할 것인지를 결정하는 문제는 조사연구자에게 고민거리가 된다. 사회조사 중에서 4점 또는 5점 척도로 된 여러 개의 개별 문항들로 구성된 설문지를 사용하는 경우가 많다. 이런 경우 개개의 문항 자체를 직접적으로 하나의 변수로 사용하지 않고 여러 개 문항들을 결합하여 새로운 척도를 만들어 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 본 연구의 목적은 리커트 척도가 관심변수인 조사연구에서 표본크기를 결정하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 리커트 척도를 만들고자 할 때 4점 혹은 5점 척도로 구성된 여러 문항변수들은 일반적으로 서로 양의 상관관계를 가지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 개별 문항변수들은 각각 동일한 분포를 가지며, 각각의 변수들은 서로 동일한 크기의 상관관계를 갖는다는 가정을 한다. 주어진 가정 하에서 새로운 척도의 표본분포를 유도한 후 이를 이용하여 다양한 상황에서의 표본의 크기를 계산한 결과를 표로 제시하게 되는데 표본이론을 잘 모르는 조사연구자들은 이 표를 이용하여 원하는 표본크기를 결정 할 수 있을 것이다.

A Likert scale is an often used questionnaire format. It requests respondents to specify their level of agreement to each of a list of statements. A typical question using a five-point Likert scale might make a statement. The results shows vague values. We have five-point fuzzy membership function by fuzzy valued three-point for the question and fuzzy hypothesis test the membership function by 95% confidence interval.

This purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of perception of importance of communication, self-esteem and communication skill on patient safety attitude of nursing students. Subjects were 164 associate nursing students associate nursing students(3·4rd). The data were collected using self -report questionnaire from May 17 to June 14, 2019. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 23.0. Mean point of perception of importance of communication(5 point scale) was 3.75. self-esteem(4 point scale) was 3.64, and communication skill(5 point scale) was 3.60 and patient safety attitude(5 point scale) was 4.44. Patient safety attitude were positively correlated with perception of importance of communication (r=.57, p<.001), self-esteem(r=.32. p <.001) and communication skill(r=.34. p <.001) of nursing students. Perception of importance of communication(β=.520, p<.001), self-esteem(β=.165, p=.039) explained 34.76% of total variance of patient safety attitude of nursing students. Therefore, To increase patient safety attitude of nursing students, it is necessary to develop and test the program for improving perception of importance of communication and self-esteem of nursing students.

As evaluating the health literacy is getting important, various measures for evaluation are being developed. Nevertheless, discussions about developing proper measures in Korean are still inactive. Therefore in this paper, we proposed Korean REALM (rapid estimate of adult literacy in medicine) measure that is composed of five point scale and investigated about its validity. As a result, we could find that Korean REALM measure which is composed of five point scale has high reliability, and that it formed one dimension as a result of factor analysis. Positive responses were lower than two point scale and correlation coefficient with NVS (the newest vital sign) appeared statistically significant. Therefore, we could conclude that Korean REALM measure that is composed of five point scale is a valid measurement. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences between general students and department of nursing students about health literacy.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of teacher preparation programs with project-based learning for strengthening preservice special education teachers' practical teaching abilities. The results of this study showed that the practical teaching ability of preservice special education teachers (n = 39) improved by a total of 6.76 points after receiving action learning-based instruction. The improvement was 1.49 points for planning and designing, 1.49 points for communication, 0.49 points for interactions with students, 2.49 points for teaching and learning environment, and 0.89 points for sincerity and enthusiasm. The results of paired t-test showed that preservice special education teachers' practical teaching ability has significantly improved on the total scale score (p < 0.01). Preservice special education teachers' improvements were also significant on three out of five subscales: planning and designing, communication, and teaching and learning environment. Correlations between the practical teaching ability subscales ranged from 0.64 to 0.90, indicating a statistically significant correlation.

This study aims to develop an attitude toward work scale on the welfare recipients in Korea. This study has process through literature review and empirical research. As a results, there are 3 factors, 'independent/reliance', 'work as itself', 'hardworking and success' in this scale. And this scale is composed of 11 items with 5 likert scale. The sums of squared loading of this scale is 54.9%, and the internal reliability is ${\alpha}=.79$. The means of attitude toward work on welfare recipients in Korea is 43.9 among the total sum 55. This means the welfare recipients in Korea have highly positive attitude toward work. This study has an implication as a first trial to measure work attitude on welfare recipients in Korea more objective and scientific. But this scale need some follow-up study to improve the validity and elaboration.

지금까지 향의 이미지에 따른 감성 평가에 관한 연구, 특히 성별에 따른 차이에 관한 연구는 거의 없었다. 본 연구는 향의 이미지에 따른 성별 감성 차이를 분석하기 위하여 네 가지 향 (Jasmin abs, Rose oil bulgalian, Lavender oil france, Lemon oil misitano)을 제시하고 그에 따른 주관적 평가를 분석하였다. 후각 실험 및 주관적 평가는 20-26세의 남자10명, 여자10명으로 구성된 피험자를 대상으로 이루어졌고, 주관적 평가는 향의 세부적인 이미지를 나타내는 후각 감성 형용사를 이용하여, 양극의 7점 척도 25문항, 단극의 5점 척도 40문항, 그리고 각 향의 전반적인 선호도를 묻는 양극의 7점 척도 2문항으로 구성하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 남성과 여성 모두 Lemon향을 가장 쾌한 감성의 향으로, Rose향을 가장 자극적인 향으로 생각하는 것과 같은 심리척도의 보편적인 정서인 쾌/불쾌, 자극/진정의 감성에 있어서 성별에 따른 차이를 별로 보이지 않았다. 그러나, 여성에 비해 남성이 Rose향을 정열적이고 화려한 향으로 느낀다거나, Jasmin 향에 대하여 남성은 여성적인 향으로 생각하는 반면, 여성은 Jasmin 향을 남성적인 향으로 평가하는 등 각 향에 대한 세부적인 이미지에는 여성과 남성이 뚜렷한 차이를 보이고 있었다.

Objective : This study aimed to establish an analytic methodology that can objectively evaluate the proverb comprehension levels that vary based on the aging process. Method : This study recruited 70 normal elderly aged ≥ 65 years and performed proverb comprehension tasks using an explanation method. A scoring estimation method was designed on 3 and 5-point scales. The difficulty and discrimination levels were calculated based on the two scales, thereby selecting the final questions and evaluation scale. Results : First, the item discrimination index on the 5-point scale was relatively higher than that on the 3-point scale, and 10 items were finally selected. Second, in terms of proverb comprehension ability, the elderly group aged 70 ~ 84 years showed significantly lower performance than those aged 65 ~ 69 years. Additionally, subjects with ≥ 10 years of education showed significantly higher performance than those with 9 ≤ years of education. Third, the performance of the proverbs comprehension task negatively correlated with the reaction time of the executive function task. Conclusion : Proverb comprehension is a task that can distinctively show a deterioration of brain functions in line with the aging process even among the normal elderly group and therefore, can estimate the difference more effectively with an increase in the score of the evaluation scale.
