RBM 굴착에 따른 수직구의 3차원적 거동 연구 (A study on the 3-dimensional behavior of shaft by the RBM reaming)

  • To investigate the behavior of air-shaft and existing tunnel by excavating the small-diameter shaft into the existing tunnel, prototype air-shaft was constructed and analyzed in this study. Geotechnical characterization was conducted by boring and rock cores obtained were tested in the laboratory. Field monitoring including radial and tangential stresses and displacements was conducted with the 3-dimensional numerical analysis of prototype air-shaft. Results of field monitoring were compared with the numerical results. The results showed that maximum displacement of 2.11mm and maximum tangential stress of 54.0 kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ were obtained during shaft excavation near the right shoulder of the existing tunnel. The comparison of these field measurements with 3-dimensional numerical analysis showed that much more higher stress was measured during excavation compared to the numerical results even though the trends of stress and displacement were similar.

Flexible Pressure Sensors Based on Three-dimensional Structure for High Sensitivity

  • The importance of flexible polymer-based pressure sensors is growing in fields like healthcare monitoring, tactile recognition, gesture recognition, human-machine interface, and robot skin. In particular, health monitoring and tactile devices require high sensor sensitivity. Researchers have worked on sensor material and structure to achieve high sensitivity. A simple and effective method has been to employ three-dimensional pressure sensors. Three-dimensional (3D) structures dramatically increase sensor sensitivity by achieving larger local deformations for the same pressure. In this paper, the performance, manufacturing method, material, and structure of high-sensitivity flexible pressure sensors based on 3D structures, are reviewed.

  • Information technology advances are allowing conventional surveillance systems to be combined with mobile communication technologies, creating ubiquitous monitoring systems. This paper proposes monitoring system that uses smart camera technology. We discuss the dependence of interior orientation parameters on calibration target sheets and compare the accuracy of a three-dimensional monitoring system with camera location calculated by space resectioning using a Digital Surface Model (DSM) generated from stereo images. A monitoring housing is designed to protect a camera from various weather conditions and to provide the camera for power generated from solar panel. A smart camera is installed in the monitoring housing. The smart camera is operated and controlled through an Android application. At last the accuracy of a three-dimensional monitoring system is evaluated using a DSM. The proposed system was then tested against a DSM created from ground control points determined by Global Positioning Systems (GPSs) and light detection and ranging data. The standard deviation of the differences between DSMs are less than 0.12 m. Therefore the monitoring system is appropriate for extracting the information of objects' position and deformation as well as monitoring them. Through incorporation of components, such as camera housing, a solar power supply, the smart camera the system can be used as a ubiquitous monitoring system.

  • Nowadays, environmental protection is increasingly concerned more than ever before. Therefore, it is prerequisite both to monitor some data and control them on-line for reducing the environmental pollution. In this paper, internet-based 3-dimensional monitoring system which utilizes PCS phones for wireless data communication with server computer is presented and its feasibility is tested by physical installation.

  • 본 논문에서는 클라이언트/서버 형태로 신발 공정에 관한 컨베이어 원격 감시 제어 시스템을 웹 기반으로 설계하고 구성하였다. 클라이언트가 원격으로 영상을 감시하고 제어하기 위한 모듈들은 JAVA를 기반으로 제작하였으며, 실시간 제어를 위한 컨베이어 서버는 RTLinux를 기반으로 구성되며, 그 위에서 디바이스 드라이버와API를 개발하였다. 이러한 소프트웨어 제작과 Lego 기반의 프로토타이핑을 통해 산업 현장에서, 3차원 스테레오 카메라와 웹을 통해 실시간으로 컨베이어를 제어하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 교량이나 배관과 같이 긴 길이의 구조물은 처짐 및 변형이 발생하기 쉽다. 이러한 구조물의 건전성 감시를 위해서는 국부적인 물리량 측정뿐만 아니라 전체의 형상 감시가 필요하다. 광섬유 브래그 격자(Fiber Bragg Grating; FBG) 센서는 광섬유에 다수의 센서 적용이 가능하여 대형 구조물 감시에 효과적이다. 본 연구에서는 FBG를 이용하여 구조물의 다점에서 변형률을 측정하고, 이를 바탕으로 구조물 전체의 형상 추정을 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 구조물의 정확한 감시가 가능하도록 3차원의 형상 추정을 연구하고 실험적 검증을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 구조물의 변형에 따른 형상 변화의 추정이 가능함을 확인하였고, 추가로 특정 위치에서의 처짐량을 실제 마이크로미터로 측정한 값과 예측된 값을 비교하여 검증하였다.

  • Utilization of CCTV in crime prevention for public safety is accepted as the most effective measure in terms of crime prevention and control. Also, it is frequently used as a device that shows evidence of an unexpected situation or record on public social relationship. However, it is rare to find a study that qualitatively accessed the monitoring performance of a certain space depending on the choice and positioning of CCTVs. Thus, this study suggested a technology that can quantitatively compare and assess the monitoring performance of CCTVs depending on view angle and effective sight range of cameras as well as the monitoring performance depending on positioning measures. For the analysis, the concept of 3-dimensional surveillance field in the form of a frustum was suggested while deriving 3-dimensional range of sight and quantitative monitoring performance by applying Isovist theory. For the analysis technology, space of analysis subject, point of view (camera), and target point (measurement node) were installed at a 3-dimensional space and in use of ray-tracing algorithm, the line segment that was visually connected between the point of view and target point was extracted and accumulated. For such verification, analysis application was constructed and then applied to four alternative models on view angle and distance as well as four alternatives on positioning in order to verify its efficacy. Through the experiment, it was possible to compare and assess visibility depending on alternatives while quantifying the results by understanding the shadow areas beyond the monitoring range.

  • Most measuring devices are equipped with RS-232 or GPIB interface for communicating data with computers. If the measuring devices can be accessed by a server computer, the valuable information from the devices can be effectively shared with other computers via internet. But, if the measuring devices and the server computer are too far away, it is difficulty to directly connect them by RS232 interface. PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) refers to the world's collection of interconnected voice-oriented public telephone networks. Measuring computer system which is equipped with RS232 interface and modem for PSTN can be introduced to overcome the aforementioned distance problem, In this work, an internet based remote monitoring system which utilizes PSTN and VRML for 3-dimensional GUI is proposed.

  • The goal of this paper is to propose a virtual instrumentation system based on three dimensional current coordinates for monitoring power quality A developed system with various experimental graphic screens and numerical results is made up 586-PC and DSP(digital signal processor) board, power quality analyzing and evaluating software for windows. Power parameters are analyzed using correlation signal processing techniques based on the correlation between voltage and current waveforms. Analysis. results are visualized by 3-D current coordinates, and it Is compared and evaluated with conventional time / frequency domain. To verify the validity of the proposed system, power and harmonic parameters of single phase induction motor drives is analyzed and verified.

  • Wear debris morphology is closely related to the wear mode and mechanism occured. Image recognition of wear debris is, therefore, a powerful tool in wear monitoring. But it has usually required expert's experience and the results could be too subjective. Development of automatic tools for wear debris recognition is needed to solve this problem. In this work, an algorithm for automatic wear debris recognition was suggested and implemented by PC base software. The presented method defined a characteristic 3-dimensional feature space where typical types of wear debris were separately located by the knowledge-based system and compared the similarity of object wear debris concerned. The 3-dimensional feature space was obtained from multiple feature vectors by using a multi-dimensional scaling technique. The results showed that the presented automatic wear debris recognition was satisfactory in many cases application.
