육군 훈련교육에서 시뮬레이터 시스템의 지각된 교육효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Percepted Education Effectiveness of Simulator System in the Army Training Education)

  • The main objective of this study is to show how to measure the education effectiveness of simulator system in the army. We investigate the education effectiveness through the measuring model that consists of three dimensions such as understanding, experience, and learning. The results of empirical analysis demonstrate that the education effectiveness depends on three dimensions. The result also suggests that the higher the degree of each dimension is, the higher the education effectiveness. However, there is no education effectiveness difference between the traditional training and the simulator training because of the elementary level of simulator function.

  • 다양한 유도무기체계의 개발로 이를 시험하거나 훈련하기 위한 발사체계모의 소프트웨어가 반복되어 개발되고 있다. 이러한 소프트웨어는 개발비는 적으나 높은 신뢰성을 요구한다. 따라서 소프트웨어의 품질 향상과 개발 및 유지보수 비용 절감을 위해서는 소프트웨어 재사용이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 접근을 통해 발사체계모의 소프트웨어 개발지원을 위한 프레임워크의 개발방안에 대해 제안한다. 여러 체계마다 공통으로 사용될 수 있는 기능을 추출하고 이들의 집합을 프레임워크로 정의한다. 본 프레임워크를 발사체계 시뮬레이터 개발에 이용 시 개발 및 유지보수 비용절감 및 소프트웨어 품질 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

  • Recently, power system has a trend of sustaining increase of power demand and large-sized system. Also, consumers has required a high reliability for the power quality in deregulated power industry. For power system operator, the accurate decision for situations of power systems and the ability of the management for the faults are required. Therefore, in this paper we presents the development of simulator which can train the process of the recovery and the decision of contingency in the case of the occurrence of faults for generation, transmission, and distribution facilities.

  • For the proper decision making and responsibility enhancement for an unexpected accident in large-scale facilities, it is important to train operators or first responders to minimize potential human errors and consequences resulted from them. Simulation technologies, including human-computer interaction and virtual reality, enables personnel to participate in simulated hazardous situations with a safe, interactive, repetitive way to perform these training activities. For the development of accident response training simulator, it is necessary to define components comprising the simulator and to integrate them for the given training purpose. In this paper, we analyze requirements of the training simulator, derive key components, and design the training simulator. Based on the design, we developed a prototype training simulator and verified the simulator through experiments.

  • We developed the training simulator for KEPCO operators to maintain small-scale distribution automation system effectively. The training simulator has the same screen form and operating environments in comparison with using system in field. It is to be wished that the operating techniques of KEPCO operators will progress to solve the fear of system operation and to training simulations of distribution conditions again and again.

  • Aerial working platform is recently used broadly in heavy industry and construction field and also the utilization of it is growing. However, the raise of critical incident caused by unskilled operator is increasing gradually. To reduce and prevent such incident, the training for operating is essential. It's not easy to cover the requirements for the training with real platform because of the high price of it, safety and weather condition. This paper proposes a simulator for the training based on virtual reality to give the training safely regardless to the weather condition and the simulator is deliverable in lower price than real one. The simulator proposed in this paper is available to be set according to the level of trainee managing the assessment level and be also applied for the design of general heavy equipment training simulator based.

  • An experience based training system concerning various fire situations which may result many casualties has been required to make rapid decision and improve the responsiveness. Recently, the necessity of virtual reality (VR) based training system which can replace a dangerous full-scale fire training and be easily adopted to the training or evaluation process is increasing. This study constructed tile virtual environment according to pre-defined scenarios, utilized the FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator), three dimensional computational fire analysis program, to derive numerically simulated data on the propagation of fire. Finally, by visualizing the realistic fire and smoke behavior through virtual reality technique and implementing real-time interaction, we developed a VR-based fire training simulator. Also, in order to ensure the sense for tile real of a virtual world and reaI-time performance at the same time, we proposed appropriate data processing and space search algorithms, demonstrate d the value of proposed method through experiments.

  • This paper designed the railway vehicle running device with a proto-type for the railway vehicle maintenance training and developed a propulsion control device simulator equipped the imitation steering wheel. In addition, this paper applied a multi-thread technology in order to implement the staged fault and the propulsion control device protected operation test and an implementation of the failure that occur in actual rail vehicle and confirm the validity as the propulsion control device simulator for the maintenance training.

  • This paper describes the design methodology of the operator training simulator for power monitor and control system in the railway system. In power system, the purpose of energy management system was to monitor, control, and analyze the performance of generation and transmission system based on H/W and S/W. Network analysis applications provide a clear picture of power system characteristics using state estimation, power flow and short circuit analysis. In this respect, the operator training system in the railway system should be equipped with the methodology of these systems. First, the proposed database structure in the railway system was introduced. Then the overall structure of operator training system based on railway analysis applications was proposed. Finally, a methodology to verify the performance of the developed applications was described.
