Second, higher satisfaction in VMI system factors led to a greater level of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of VMI. Third, higher satisfaction in VMI cooperation factors led to a greater level of perceived ease of use of VMI. Fourth, the perceived ease of use of VMI had an impact on the perceived usefulness of VMI, similar to the findings of other studies. Fifth, the perceived ease of use of VMI had a positive impact on intention of the continuous VMI use.

  • It is major strategy for SMEs to cooperate with other companies or Public Research Institutes(PRIs) as the essential technology is getting more complicated and technological life cycle is getting short. However, It is not easy to perform a proper cooperation with SMEs for PRIs, because they are accustomed to support SMEs in the short run. In addition, previous studies also have mainly focussed on finding determinants of performance as a consequence of temporary cooperation instead of long-term relationships among companies. Therefore this study analyzed which satisfaction is more effective to maintain the long-term cooperative relationship between PRIs and SMEs. As a result, it has found that when SMEs satisfy from quality of input like manpower supports R&D and context of the support program over the output like technological or economical performance, they intend to continue cooperation with PRIs. And this paper shows that the performance has mediated effect rather direct effect on long-term cooperation intention. In light of all the above, to cooperate with SMEs effectively, it will be suggested that PRIs enhance quality of support process and contents instead of quantity of support based on one-time cooperation.

  • Companies are recently emphasizing social capital that is formed by the network and trust among organization members to secure continuous competitive edge. Social capital induces the members' adaptation and immersion through the interactions with multidimensional factors within an organization, and contributes to increasing an organization's performance by causing cooperative behaviors as a passage of communications and participation. This study analyzed the influence of social capital and organizational support recognition formed in an organization on the turnover intention, and examined the moderating effect of organizational support recognition in the relationship between social capital and turnover intention. To achieve the purpose, this research conducted a survey on small and medium sized manufacturing companies in Busan and Gyeongnam and performed an empirical analysis using hierarchical regression analysis. According to the empirical analysis, the structural and relational dimensions of social capital had a negative (-) influence on the turnover intention. Especially, the relational dimension had a huge influence on the turnover intention, showing that it is important to form trust among an organization's members through their interactions. Second, organizational support recognition also had a negative (-) influence on the turnover intention, demonstrating that attention and complete support at an organizational dimension were needed for individual members. Third, organizational support recognition appeared to mediate the relationship between social capital and the turnover intention. The higher the organizational support recognition was, the lower the negative (-) influence of the relational dimension of social capital on the turnover intention was. Based on these results, this paper discussed the theoretical and practical implications of this research as well as future assignments.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the interdependent partnership between liner shipping companies and port-related service firms on the service quality and transaction performance. The empirical analysis found that sharing information and mutual trust of partnership factor positively affected service quality of the port-related service firms, but the communication had negative effects on it. The interdependence had the interaction effect between the partnership and the service quality. Also, the service quality affected satisfaction of transaction and re-purchasing of the shipping companies. This study shows that the partnership to be formed mutual dependent relationship between shipping companies and the port-related firms improve the service quality of shipping service network and enhance transactional satisfaction of both parties.

  • Recent studies validate the idea that consumer judgment of products can affect consumer purchase intentions. Consumers judge products based on product quality, after sales satisfaction, and other visible values, but consumers also judge products on country-of-origin image, brand image and such intangible values. In this paper, we will examine consumer ethnocentrism and animosity, which are frequently responsible for country-of-origin prejudices, because the offending (i.e. exporting) nation has engaged in economic, political, or even military activities that the consumer finds difficult to forgive. The results of the study show a positive effect of product judgment on consumer purchase intentions, but consumer ethnocentrism and animosity negatively affect product judgment and consumer purchase intentions of foreign products. In the Chinese market, ethnocentric Chinese consumers have negative perceptions of foreign products with negative intentions to buy them. Chinese consumers have strong animosity for Japanese products, which negatively affect product judgments and purchase intentions to buy; therefore, Japanese corporations should increase cooperation with Chinese corporations. Conversely, for Korean companies, product judgment primarily affects consumers' intentions to buy; consequently, Korean companies should improve their product quality, after-sales satisfaction, brand image and other tangible aspects to improve consumer judgment.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of location satisfaction of innovative start-ups, located in capital and non-capital areas, on the intention of relocation. The analysis was based on the data of a survey of 231 innovative start-ups that were founded less than 7 years ago. 10 factors related to the aspects of business management, network building, and business environment were considered as location satisfaction of start-ups. The dependent variable was whether innovative start-ups plan to relocate. First, it was confirmed that in the case of innovative start-ups in capital area, the intention to relocate was found to decrease when the location satisfactions related to the promptly provision of products and services to consumers and ease of supplying labor were increased. Second, in the case of innovative start-ups in non-capital area, it was found that the intention to relocate was found to decrease when the location satisfactions related to creating a network, convenient transportation and free and creative start-up environment were increased. In addition, it was found that the higher the sales of start-ups in non-capital area, the lower their intention to relocate while the higher firm age of start-ups in non-capital area, the higher their intention to relocate. This study has an academic contribution to examining the relationship between between the location satisfactions of start-ups and the intention to relocate, which has been rarely addressed in Korea, and to shedding light on the difference in capital and non-capital areas. Furthermore, this study has policy implications since it suggests factors that the government should consider for geographical agglomeration of start-ups.

  • This study analyzed cases of collaborative classes between a teacher librarian and Chinese language teacher by applying problem-based learning (PBL) and intended to propose a desirable direction for class in operating collaborative classes of PBL. In order to achieve this purpose, methods to raise problems by BPL at the library of S High School, class content by each round of class, and cases of students' achievements were presented. In addition, statistical analysis of interest in subjects on 101 students in their sophomore year who had participated in PBL class was conducted. According to the study result, students' learning-related desire to accomplish, executive ability of learning, and interest were significantly improved.

  • Recently, the researches based on vision about user attention and action awareness are being pushed actively for human computer interaction. Among them, various applications of tabletop display system are developed more in accordance with touch sensing technique, co-located and collaborative work. Formerly, although supported only one user, support multi-user at present. Therefore, collaborative work and interaction of four elements (human, computer, displayed objects, physical objects) that is ultimate goal of tabletop display are realizable. Generally, tabletop display system designs according to four key aspects. 1)multi-touch interaction using bare hands. 2)implementation of collaborative work, simultaneous user interaction. 3)direct touch interaction. 4)use of physical objects as an interaction tool. In this paper, we describe a critical analysis of the state-of-the-art in advanced multi-touch sensing techniques for tabletop display system according to the four methods: vision based method, non-vision based method, top-down projection system and rear projection system. And we also discuss some problems and practical applications in the research field.
