  • The performane of prepared Thin-Film Composite membrane depends on supporting membrane, concentration of monomers, dipping time of supporting membrane into monomer solution, reachon time between monomers, curing temperature and time and posttreatment. This study was conducted for searching the optimal condition for making the composite membrane. For this purpose, supporting membrane and composite membrane was made under various condition and at each step were tested.

  • KAERI has contrived 16 kinds of spacer grid shapes of its own since 1997 and applied for domestic and foreign patents. To date, KAERI has obtained US and ROK patents for 11 kinds of spacer grid shapes among them and the others are under review in USA, EC, China, and ROK. In this study, detailed performance analysis and test on two spacer grid shapes that are assumed to be the most effective candidates for the spacer grid of the next generation nuclear fuel in Korea was carried out. The result has shown that the performances of the candidates are better or not worse than those of the current spacer grid.

Relationship between Suppression Strategy of Emotional Expression and Posttraumatic Growth: Serial Multiple Mediating Effects of Self Disclosure on Traumatic Event and Social Support (정서표현억제전략과 외상후 성장의 관계: 외상사건에 대한 자기개방과 사회적 지지의 순차적 다중매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of emotion regulation strategy on posttraumatic growth and to confirm serial multiple mediating effects of self disclosure on a traumatic experience and social support in relationship between suppression strategy of emotional expression and posttraumatic growth. A survey was conducted for adults over the age of 18. Data of 663 adults (222 men, 441 women) were analyzed. According to analysis by using SPSS Process Macro, the less suppression strategy of emotional expression was used, the higher posttraumatic growth was. Simple mediating effect of self disclosure was confirmed between suppression strategy of emotional expression and posttraumatic growth. Serial multiple mediating effects of self disclosure and social support were shown in relationship between suppression strategy of emotional expression and posttraumatic growth. It means that the more people who use less suppression of emotional expression as their emotion regulation strategy, the more they disclose on their traumatic experience, then, they will receive emotional comfort and support from the people around, finally reaching posttraumatic growth. The importance of self disclosure and social support on posttraumatic growth was verified. Counseling intervention method was suggested for involuntary clients who usually suppress emotional expression, to enhance their posttraumatic growth. Lastly, significance and limitations of this study were suggested for follow-up studies.

Effects of Changes in Accelerated Degradation Conditions for Catalyst Supports in Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell (고분자전해질 연료전지(PEMFC)에서 촉매 지지체 가속 열화 조건 변화의 영향)

  • The durability of the catalyst support has a significant effect on the durability of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). The accelerated durability evaluation of the catalyst support is performed at a high voltage (1.0 to 1.5 V), and the catalyst and ionomer binder in the catalyst layer are also deteriorated, hindering the evaluation of the durability of the support. The existing protocol (DOE protocol) was improved to find conditions in which the support, which is a durability evaluation target, deteriorates further. A protocol (MDOE) was developed in which the relative humidity was lowered by 35% and the number of voltage changes was reduced. After repeating the 1.0 ↔ 1.5 V voltage change cycle, the catalyst mass activitiy (MA), electrochemical active area (ECSA), electrical double layer capacity (DLC), Pt dissolution and particle growth were analyzed. Reaching 40% reduction in mass activity, the MDOE protocol took only 500 cycles, reducing the number of voltage changes compared to the DOE method and increasing the degradation of the carbon support by 50% compared to the DOE protocol.

A Study on Automatic Bridge Lantern Support for Safe Bridge Lantern Inspection (안전한 교량등 점검을 위한 자동 교량등 지지대에 관한 연구)

  • Bridge lanterns are installed on bridges or piers to signal the presence of these structures on navigational routes and navigable waters, and they fall under the category of light wave signals in Aids to Navigation. In Korea, medium to large bridges installed over major rivers and seas are equipped with bridge lanterns, which are necessary for routes frequented by ships and require periodic inspections on a monthly or multi-month basis. However, most bridge lanterns are mounted externally on bridge railings as fixed or manual rotary supports, posing a high risk of fatal falls during inspections. Furthermore, high -traffic bridges demand quick maintenance works due to complaints about traffic disruption, thus increasing work hazards. Consequently, this study introduced a tailored automatic bridge lantern support concept based on different types of bridge lantern installations, aiming for safe and rapid inspections. Additionally, the study sought to achieve full automation of the bridge lighting system by integrating it with a management program for monitoring and controlling bridge lanterns, utilizing both wired and wireless communication technologies. These findings provide foundational design data for new and refurbished bridges that will be installed in the future.

PHC말뚝의 경제성에 대한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 PC말뚝과 PHC말뚝의 시공성과 지지력에 대한 비교확인 시험의 결과를 근거로 하여 PHC말뚝의 시공상의 장점, 특성 및 경제성을 파악하였으며, SIP공법에 의하여 PHC말뚝을 사용시 기존 PC말뚝이나 강관말뚝보다 경제성이 우수함을 확인하였다. 또한 PHC말뚝은 압축강도와 지지혁이 기존 PC말뚝보다 높을 뿐만아니라 강관말뚝과 같이 용접이음이 가능하고 말뚝의 심도가 깊은 경우에도 강관말뚝과의 대체시공이 가능하여 PHC말뚝의 성능을 극대화할 수 있는 적절한 항타장비를 사용하는 경우에는 혁신적인 원가절감이 가능함을 확인할 수 있다.

순수 굽힘하중 작용조건에서의 대관 파괴역학 정가방법 비교

  • 본 논문은 다양한 파괴역학 해석방법을 이용하여 원주방향 관통균열이 존재하는 탄소강 및 스레인레스강 배관의 하중 지지능력을 예측하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 실제적인 기본모델과 배관 및 균열의 형상, 재료물성치를 변화시킨 가상적인 특정모델을 대상으로 순수 굽힘하중 작용조건에서의 공학적 해석 및 유한요소해석을 수행하였으며, 타당성 검토를 위해 문헌에 제시된 실험결과와 비교하였다. 비교결과, 예측한 하중 지지능력은 각 평가방법 뿐만 아니라 배관 및 균열의 형상, 재료특성 등에 따라서도 차이를 보였으나, 전반적으로는 실험결과에 비해 보수적인 결과를 제시하는 것으로 나타났다.

지하 굴착시 계측관리에 의한 가설부재의 절감

  • 건물지하터파기에서 지하굴착시 공사비절감 및 안전관리를 위하여 계측관리를 실시하였다. 본 빌딩은 길이와 폭이 38.6m, 28.5m, 터파기깊이는 17.5m로 원설계에서는 strut5단으로 토류벽을 지지하여 흙을 굴착하는 것으로 설계되어 있으나 토질주상도를 참고로 할 때GL-8.5m부터는 굳은 토사층 및 풍화암층이 나오는 상태이므로 원설계와는 달리 토층이 연약한 부분만 strut로 지지한 후 strut에 strain Gauge를 부착하여 굴착단계마다 strut의 응력을 검정하고 이 응력값이 부재의 허용응력 이내로 계속된다면 Strut단 수를 절감하는 방안으로 일을 추진하였으며 본문에서는 이에 대하여 설명하고자 한다. I-형 마멸 손상된 증기발생기 전열관의 파열압력해석

  • 증기발생기 전열관의 마멸은 유체 유발 진동(flow induced vibration)에 의한 전열관과 증기발생기 상부 지지구조물 사이에서 발생하게 되며 원통 지지대(stay cylinder)상부의 중앙 공공(central cavity) 주변에 집중적으로 발생되는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 국내에서는 1997년 영광 4호기의 증기발생기에 마멸 손상이 보고된 이후 영광 3호기와 울진 3, 4호기에서도 마멸 손상이 발견되고 있으며, 외국에서는 1992-1993년 기간동안 대략 500∼600 개의 전열관이 마멸에 의해 관막음(p1u99ing)된 것으로 보고되었다.(중략)

  • 본 연구에서는 볼 베어링의 전동체 회전에 의해 발생하는 원심력, 자이로스코픽 모멘트, 하중 방향선에 대한 전동체의 하중 분포 변화 등을 고려하여, 볼 베어링의 강성 특성을 해석하고, 볼 베어링으로 지지되는 간단한 회전축 계에 해석 결과를 적용하여 진동 특성을 해석하고자 한다.
