스마트 그리드는 전력인프라와 정보통신기술이 접목되어 실시간으로 전력공급자와 소비자가 정보를 교환함으로써 전력 사용 및 관리를 최적화하는 기술로, 전 국민의 일상생활과 밀접한 관계를 가지기 때문에 보안 문제 발생 시 심각한 문제를 초래할 수 있다. 우리나라를 비롯하여 미국, 유럽, 일본 등 전 세계 주요 국가들의 스마트 그리드 구축사업이 한창인 지금, 보안에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 스마트 그리드 전 영역에 대한 보안 대책 마련이 필요하다. 이와 관련하여 NIST, IEC, ITU-T 등의 국내외 표준화 기구 및 단체에서 스마트 그리드 보안 표준화의 필요성을 인식하고 표준화 로드맵을 개발하는 등 다양한 표준화 활동을 추진하고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 스마트 그리드 보안을 위한 국내외 표준화 기구 및 단체들의 표준화 활동 동향에 대한 정보를 제공하고자 한다.

2007년 3월부터 WFA에서 시작된 "Wi-Fi CERTIFIED(TM)802.11n Draft 2.0" 인증을 통해 현재까지 180가지가 넘는 제품이 출시되고 있는 가운데 이러한 시장의 상황을 반영하듯 여러 매체를 통해 IEEE 802.11n이 2008년 핫이슈로 등장하고 있다. 하지만 차세대무선통신의 기술적인 로드맵을 선도하고 있는 ITU-R WP8F의 IMT-Advanced에서 요구하고 있는 보행시 1Gbps까지 가능하게 하는 기술을 2010년까지 제공한다는 측면에서는 IEEE 802.11n의 성능이 못 미치는 게 사실이며, 이러한 상황을 반영해 IEEE 802.11 내부에서 IEEE 802.11n 후속으로 보행시 Gbps급의 전송 속도를 지원하는 새로운 기술에 대한 표준화 작업에 대한 논의가 꾸준히 있어 왔고, 그 결과 2007년 5월 정식으로 이를 위한 Study Group이 만들어져 작업에 들어갔다. 본 고에서는 이러한 IEEE 802.11에서의 표준화 활동을 중심으로 차세대무선랜에 대한 응용분야, 관련 기술, 표준화 작업 내용에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

ISO의 정보보호관리 표준은 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 WG1에서 표준화를 진행하고 있으며, 현재까지 제정된 정보보호관리 표준으로는 ISO 13335 MICTS와 ISO 17799 Code of practices for information security management 등이 있다. ISO 13335는 정보보호관리 모델 및 기술에 대한 가이드를 제공하는 표준이고, ISO 17799는 정보보호관리 통제에 대한 가이드를 제공하는 표준이다. 최근 동향으로는 ISMS(Information Security Management Systems)국제표준화 작업이 시작될 것으로 예상되며, WG1에서 작업 중인 정보보호관리 표준 간 유사성을 배제하고 통합된 체제를 만들기 위한 로드맵 작성 작업이 진행 중에 있다. 인터넷의 확산과 정보화의 역기능 증가에 따라 능동적인 정보보호관리체계의 수립을 위하여, 우리나라도 정보보호관리 표준의 제정 과정에 적극적으로 참여할 뿐 아니라 국내 많은 조직에서 정보보호관리 표준이 적용되어 국가적인 정보보호관리 수준이 향상될 수 있도록 할 필요가 있다.

사이버 보안 기술, 위협 및 대응책이 진화함에 따라 정보보호 관련 국제 표준도 지속적인 개정이 필요하다. 특히 ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 (정보보안, 사이버보안 및 프라이버시)에서는 현재까지 233개 표준 출판이 완료되었으며, 65개 프로젝트가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 산하 WG 3 작업반에서 진행되고 있는 보안평가, 시험 및 규격 표준 중에서 IT 보안 평가에 활용되고 있는 ISO/IEC 15408, ISO/IEC 18045을 중심으로 표준화 진행 현황과 향후 개정 추진 방향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 또한, 2023년 4월에 열린 ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 3 작업반 회의에서 논의된 주요 표준화 이슈와 대응 방안을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 한 중소기업을 상대로 진행된 게이트 도장 품질 개선을 위한 6시그마 프로젝트 과정을 소개한다. 프로젝트는 6시그마 개선활동의 로드맵인 DMAIC 절차를 따라 진행하였다. 먼저 Define 단계에서는 고객요구사항 파악을 위해 VOC 기법을 활용하여 CTQ를 선정하였다. Measure 단계에서는 프로세스 맵, 특성요인도, XY 매트릭스, FMEA등을 이용하여 주요 인자들을 규명하였다. Analyze 단계에서는 상관분석, ANOVA, 그래프 분석 등 각종 통계적 기법을 활용해 핵심입력변수인 'Vital Few's'를 규명한 후, Improve 단계에서 DOE를 통한 최적조건을 도출하였다. 또한 Control 단계에서는 최적조건을 유지하기 위한 관리계획 및 실수방지, 표준화 기법을 도입하였다. 이러한 개선 활동을 통해 개선 전 2.957 시그마 수준의 품질을 3.66 시그마 수준까지 높일 수 있었으며, 6천 3백만원의 비용절감을 할 수 있었다. 또한 본 논문에서는 중소기업에서의 프로젝트 진행의 문제점을 제시하였고, 그 해결방안에 대해서도 논하고자 한다.

Many advanced countries including the U.S. consider defense standardization as a critical task for the efficient acquisition and effective operation of weapon systems and have implemented the appropriate standardization policy by synchronizing the defense acquisition strategies and nation standardization policy with defense standardization. It is required to develop the long-term defense standardization policy that can cope with the future domestic and international defense environmental changes. Therefore, it is an inevitable task to investigate the standardization trends and strategy in the domestic and international perspectives. The study aims to provide the vision of defense standardization policy, act/regulation, organization/personnel, education/training and information system.

There are many government-led efforts for exploiting new growth engine to survive in a globally competitive environment. as a representative strategy, technology standardization policy is promoted by many countries. Although each country has unique characteristics in facilitating technology standardization, we can recently observe different strategy from conventional way like in United States. Thus, this study examines government-led technology standardization for activating emerging industry. Using case analysis, cloud computing is analyzed in terms of standardization organization and process perspectives, and technology standardization efforts by government in United States and Korea are compared. According to case analysis, this study investigates changes of the government-led standardization strategies for each country and suggests implications for activating emerging industry using technology standardization policy.

It is very essential issue in industrial advancement and company survival for international standard body to adopt standards including ICT that domestic company or our country owns. Also, advanced countries fiercely contest in order to include domestic technology in international standard and make every effort to secure essential patent relating to core and basic technology in international standard. In this circumstances, it is necessary to develop standardization strategies and take systematic approaches in an attempt to upgrade our country to strongly knowledge-based country in 21th century and achieve a leading position in ICT market. Therefore, this paper will suggest systematic and comprehensive approaches from planning of technology development to securing essential patent of international standard and have the purpose of making standardization base as well as promoting international standardization of domestic technology.
