Calibration Comparison of Single Camera and Stereo Camera (단일 카메라 캘리브레이션과 스테레오 카메라의 캘리브레이션의 비교)

  • The stereo camera system has a fixed baseline and therefore has a constant scale. However, it is difficult to measure the actual three-dimensional coordinate since the scale is not fixed when relative orientation parameters are determined through the key-point matching in the stereo image each time. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to perform the stereo camera calibration that simultaneously determines the internal characteristics of the left and right cameras and the camera relationship between them using the modified collinearity equation and compared it with the two independent single cameras calibration. In the experiment using the images taken at close range, the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) of ${\pm}0.014m$ was occurred when the three dimensional distances were compared in the single calibration results. On the other hand, the accuracy of the three-dimensional distance of the stereo camera calibration was better because the stereo camera results were almost no error compared to the results from two single cameras. In the comparison of the epipolar images, the RMSE of the stereo camera was 0.3 pixel more than that of the two single cameras, but the effect was not significant.

Dimensional Structure of Emotion in Schizophrenic Patients (정신분열병 환자의 정서구조 분석: 2차원 모형을 중심으로)

  • 본 연구에서는 정신분열증 환자들이 정서상태를 개념화하고 얼굴표정을 통하여 타인의 정서 상태를 판단하는 과정을 정상인과 비교하였다. 연구1에서는 만 19세-46세의 정신분열병 환자 19명에게 정서 관련 형용사 15개로 구성된 105개의 형용사 쌍에 대하여 유사성을 평정하도록 하여 MDS로 분석한 결과, 쾌/불쾌와 각성의 두 차원이 일관되게 보고되고 있는 정상집단과는 달리 정신분열병 집단의 자료에서는 쾌/불쾌 차원만이 뚜렷하게 나타나고 각성 차원은 얻어지지 않았다. 연구 2에서는 다양한 정서를 표현한 얼굴 사진 28개를 정신분열병 환자 30명과 대학생 31명에게 제시하고 각 사진의 인물이 경험하고 있는 내적 상태를 쾌/불쾌와 각성의 두 차원에 대하여 각각 7점 척도로 평정하도록 한 결과 정신분열병 집단은 대학생 집단에 비하여 쾌/불쾌 차원에서는 보다 긍정적으로 평정하는 경향이, 각성 차원에서는 상대적으로 낮게 평가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 특히 부정적이고 각성 수준이 높은 내적 상태를 표현하는 사진 자극에 대하여 정신분열병 환자 집단이 각성수준을 과소평가하는 경향이 두드러지게 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 종합하여 볼 때, 정신분열병 환자들은 정서상태의 개념화 과정에서 각성 차원에 대하여 상대적으로 낮은 민감도를 보이고 있으며, 특히 부정적인 정서상태를 표현하는 얼굴들에 대란 판단에서는 각성 차원을 과소평가하여 높은 각성수준을 나타내는 표정과 낮은 각성수준을 변별하는데 어려움을 보이는 것으로 해석될 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 정신분열병 환자들은 자율신경계의 높은 각성 수준으로 인하여 각성 수준을 더 높일 가능성이 있는 자극을 회피하는 경향이 있다는 Mednick의 가설과 일관되는 결과로 이들의 각성 수준에 대한 낮은 민감도는 방어적인 회피성향의 지속에 따른 둔감화의 결과로 해석될 수 있다. 효과는 GSR를 비롯한 자율신경계지표에서 잘 반영되었다.^2$=.792가 되었다. 설명되는 누적분산값은 67.18%였다.주관적 평가의 결과와 객관적 평가 결과를 이용해 마직물의 태를 평가하는 산출식을 제시하였다. 태 평가치의 경우 16가지 특성치를 모두 넣는 방법과 stepwise 방법, 또 Kawabatark 사용한 순차적 군 회귀법의 세가지 방법의 회귀식 중 16가지 특성치를 모두 넣는 방법의 결정계수가 가장 높았다.tosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea. The Relationship between Students' Images of Science and Science Learning and Their Science Career Choices (중학생들의 과학과 과학 학습에 대한 이미지와 과학 진로 선택 사이의 관계)

  • This study attempts to identify the relationship between students' images of science and science learning, and their career choices. A total of 163 students (seventh graders) from three different middle schools participated in this study. Students' images of science and science learning were investigated using the Draw-A-Scientist Test (DAST) and the Draw-A-Science-Learner Test (DASLT), respectively. Then, students' drawings were analyzed using the Draw-A-Scientist Test Checklist (DAST-C) and the Draw-A-Science-Learner Test Checklist (DASLT-C). The relationship between each element composing the students' images and their career choices were analyzed. Among several elements constituting the students' image of science, 'expression,' 'lab coat,' 'oddity,' 'knowledge symbol,' 'technology symbol,' 'co-work,' 'danger,' and 'STS' showed significant differences between students who chose a science-related career and students who did not. It was also revealed that the following elements - 'expression,' 'learning type,' 'inquiry symbol,' and 'learning place' - were more significantly associated with a science-related career choice compared to other elements consisting of an image of science learning.

Registration of Three-Dimensional Point Clouds Based on Quaternions Using Linear Features (선형을 이용한 쿼터니언 기반의 3차원 점군 데이터 등록)

  • Three-dimensional registration is a process of matching data with or without a coordinate system to a reference coordinate system, which is used in various fields such as the absolute orientation of photogrammetry and data combining for producing precise road maps. Three-dimensional registration is divided into a method using points and a method using linear features. In the case of using points, it is difficult to find the same conjugate point when having different spatial resolutions. On the other hand, the use of linear feature has the advantage that the three-dimensional registration is possible by using not only the case where the spatial resolution is different but also the conjugate linear feature that is not the same starting point and ending point in point cloud type data. In this study, we proposed a method to determine the scale and the three-dimensional translation after determining the three-dimensional rotation angle between two data using quaternion to perform three-dimensional registration using linear features. For the verification of the proposed method, three-dimensional registration was performed using the linear features constructed an indoor and the linear features acquired through the terrestrial mobile mapping system in an outdoor environment. The experimental results showed that the mean square root error was 0.001054m and 0.000936m, respectively, when the scale was fixed and if not fixed, using indoor data. The results of the three-dimensional transformation in the 500m section using outdoor data showed that the mean square root error was 0.09412m when the six linear features were used, and the accuracy for producing precision maps was satisfied. In addition, in the experiment where the number of linear features was changed, it was found that nine linear features were sufficient for high-precision 3D transformation through almost no change in the root mean square error even when nine linear features or more linear features were used.

Positioning Accuracy Analysis of KOMPSAT-3 Satellite Imagery by RPC Adjustment (RPC 조정에 의한 KOMPSAT-3 위성영상의 위치결정 정확도 분석)

  • The KOMPSAT-3 (Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-3), was launched on May 18, 2012, is an optical high-resolution observation mission of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and provides RPC(Rational Polynomial Coefficient) for ground coordinate determination. It is however need to adjust because RPC absorbs effects of interior-exterior orientation errors. In this study, to obtain the suitable adjustment parameters of the vendor-provided RPC of the KOMPSAT-3 images, six types of adjustment models were implemented. As results, the errors of two and six adjustment parameters differed approximately 0.1m. We thus propose the two parameters model, the number of control points are required the least, to adjust the KOMPSAT-3 R PC. According to the increasing the number of control points, RPC adjustment was performed. The proposed model with a control point particularly did not exceed a maximum error 3m. As demonstrated in this paper, the two parameters model can be applied in RPC adjustment of KOMPSAT-3 stereo image.

Acquisition of 3D Spatial Information using UAV Photogrammetric Method (무인항공 사진측량을 이용한 3D 공간정보 취득)

  • This study aims to propose a method that shall rapidly acquire 3D information of the fast and frequently changing city areas by using the images taken by the UAV photogrammetric method, and to develop the process of the acquired data. For this study's proposed UAV photogrammetric method, low-cost UAV and non-metric digital camera were used. The elements of interior orientation were acquired through camera calibration. The artificial 3D model of the artificial structures was constructed using the image data photographed at the target area and the results of the ground control point survey. The digital surface model was created for areas that were changed due to a number of civil works. This study also analyzes the proposed method's application possibility by comparing a 1/1,000 scale digital map and the results of the ground control point survey. Through the above studies, the possibilities of constructing a 3D virtual city model renewal of 3D GIS database, abstraction of changed information in geographic features and on-demand updating of the digital map were suggested.

Synthesizing Faces of Animation Characters Using a 3D Model (3차원 모델을 사용한 애니메이션 캐릭터 얼굴의 합성)

  • In this paper, we propose a method of synthesizing faces of a user and an animation character using a 3D face model. The suggested method first receives two orthogonal 2D face images and extracts major features of the face through the template snake. It then generates a user-customized 3D face model by adjusting a generalized face model using the extracted facial features and by mapping texture maps obtained from two input images to the 3D face model. Finally, it generates a user-customized animation character by synthesizing the generated 3D model to an animation character reflecting the position, size, facial expressions, and rotational information of the character. Experimental results show some results to verify the performance of the suggested algorithm. We expect that our method will be useful to various applications such as games and animation movies.

Robust Extraction of Facial Features under Illumination Variations (조명 변화에 견고한 얼굴 특징 추출)

  • Facial analysis is used in many applications like face recognition systems, human-computer interface through head movements or facial expressions, model based coding, or virtual reality. In all these applications a very precise extraction of facial feature points are necessary. In this paper we presents a method for automatic extraction of the facial features Points such as mouth corners, eye corners, eyebrow corners. First, face region is detected by AdaBoost-based object detection algorithm. Then a combination of three kinds of feature energy for facial features are computed; valley energy, intensity energy and edge energy. After feature area are detected by searching horizontal rectangles which has high feature energy. Finally, a corner detection algorithm is applied on the end region of each feature area. Because we integrate three feature energy and the suggested estimation method for valley energy and intensity energy are adaptive to the illumination change, the proposed feature extraction method is robust under various conditions.

  • This study aims to develop and validate Creative Problem Solving Profile Inventory (CPSPI) which is a scale to measure the creative thinking style, based on the CPS theory. For redeeming the limits of existing scales, this study developed an inventory which includes an evaluation for cognitive ability as well as cognitive preference and the stage to share an idea with others and persuade (Persuasion & communication stage). At the early stage, 7 factors (stages) and 82 items were developed and finally, 5 factors and 39 items were selected through item analysis and validation of construct validity. In conclusion, CPSPI will be used as an educational tool for self-development by knowing own's strengths and weaknesses in the creative problem-solving process, and help in displaying cooperative creativity by understanding other people and interaction, based on creative thinking profiles of group members.

  • Recently, percentage of people who use SMS service is increasing. However, it is difficult to express own complicated emotion with text and emoticon of exited SMS service. This paper focuses on that point and practical uses character animation to express emotion and nuance correctly, funny. Also this paper suggests emotion based gesture animation generation system that use character's facial expression and gesture to delivery emotion excitably and clearly than only speaking. Michel[1] investigated interview movies of a person whose gesturing style they wish to animate and suggested gesture generation graph for stylized gesture animation. In this paper, we make focus to analyze and abstracted emotional gestures of Disney animation characters and did 3D modeling of these emotional gestures expanding Michel[1]'s research. To express emotion of person, suggests a emotion gesture generation graph that reflects emotion flow graph express emotion flow for probability. We investigated user reaction for research the propriety of suggested system and alternation propriety.
