This study investigated the mathematical notation used today in terms of skip ping the parenthesis. At first we have studied the elementary and secondary curriculum content related to omitted rules. As a result, it is difficult to find explicit evidence to answer that question 'What is the calculation of the $48{\div}2(9+3)$?'. In order to inquire the notation fundamentally, we checked the characteristics on prefix, infix and postfix, and looked into the advantages and disadvantages on infix. At the same time we illuminated the development of mathematical notation from the point of view of skipping the parenthesis. From this investigation, we could check that this interpretation was smooth in the point of view that skipping the parentheses are the image of the function. Through this we proposed some teaching methods including 'teaching mathematical notation based on historic genetic principle', 'reproduction of efforts to overcome the disadvantages of infix and understand the context to choose infix', 'finding the omitted parentheses to identify the fundamental formula' and 'specifying the viewpoint that skipping the multiplication notation can be considered as an image of the function'.

Mathematical notation is the main means to realize the power of mathematics. Under this perspective, this study analyzed the difficulties of learning an irrational number concept in terms of notation. I tried to find ways to overcome the difficulties arising from the notation. There are two primary ideas in the notation of irrational number using root. The first is that an irrational number should be represented by letter because it can not be expressed by decimal or fraction. The second is that $\sqrt{2}$ is a notation added the number in order to highlight the features that it can be 2 when it is squared. However it is difficult for learner to notice the reasons for using the root because the textbook does not provide the opportunity to discover. Furthermore, the reduction of the transparency for the letter in the development of history is more difficult to access from the conceptual aspects. Thus 'epistemological obstacles resulting from the double context' and 'epistemological obstacles originated by strengthening the transparency of the number' is expected. To overcome such epistemological obstacles, it is necessary to premise 'providing opportunities for development of notation' and 'an experience using the notation enhanced the transparency of the letter that the existing'. Based on these principles, this study proposed a plan consisting of six steps.

Recently, many studies have focused on extracting transliteration pairs from bilingual texts. Most of these studies are based on the statistical transliteration model. The paper discusses the limitations of previous approaches and proposes novel approaches called dynamic window and tokenizer to overcome these limitations. Experimental results show that the average rates of word and character precision are 99.0% and 99.78%, respectively.

본 논문은 한글 고유 명사를 새로 개정된 한글 로마자 표기법에 의해 로마자 표기로 변환하는 시스템의 구성에 대해 기술하였다. 1995년에 문화체육부에서 배포한 프로그램 이후로 현재까지 한글을 로마자 표기로 자동 변환하는 프로그램이 나오지 않았고 이 프로그램 또한 새로 개정된 로마자 표기법이 아닌 예전의 로마자 표기법을 따르는 이유로 본 논문은 새로 개정된 표기법을 따르는 한글 고유명사의 로마자 자동 변환 시스템을 DB를 이용하여 구축하는 방안을 제시하였다. 그 결과 DB를 이용한 한글의 로마자 자동변환시스템은 개발자 측면에서는 프로그램 구현과 정확성 면에서 효과적인 장점을 얻을 수 있으며, 사용자 측면에서는 새로 개정된 개정안을 쉽게 익히고, 사용할 수 있게 한다.

음차표기란 외국어의 발음을 자국어로 표기하는 것으로 정의된다. 영-한 자동 음차표기 방법에는 직접방식, 피봇방식, 혼합방식이 있다. 기존의 영-한 음차표기 연구들은 직접방식에 기반한 연구들이 대부분이었다. 하지만, 음차표기는 직접방식에서 사용하는 단순한 자소 대 자소변환 작업이라기보다는 자소의 음성적 변환 작업이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 자소뿐만 아니라 음소 등 음성적 정보가 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특성을 이용하여 자소 정보뿐만 아니라 음소 정보를 이용한 음차표기 기법을 제안한다. 주어진 자소와 음소 및 자소와 음소의 문맥정보를 이용하여 한국어 음차표기를 생성하는 본 논문의 기법은 약 60%의 단어정확도를 나타내었다.

본 논문에서는 대중의 참여를 통해 캔 음료 제품의 점자 표기 실태를 파악하고, 음료 제조사가 이를 개선하도록 유도하는 방안을 제안한다. 캔 음료 상단에 표기된 점자를 촬영한 이미지에서 OpenCV를 통해 점자의 윤곽을 검출하고, 검출된 윤곽의 좌표를 계산하여 점자를 국문으로 번역하는 모듈을 개발한 후 서버에 이식한다. 서버와 통신하는 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발하여 소비자가 점자 이미지를 서버에 업로드하고, 점자의 인식결과를 확인할 수 있도록 한다. 점자 표기가 적절하지 않다고 판단하는 경우 해당 제품에 대한 정보를 기록하도록 하고, 제조사 별로 제보된 횟수의 순위를 제공한다. 이를 통해 소비자는 올바른 점자 표기를 제공하지 않는 제조사를 파악할 수 있으며, 제조사는 이를 의식하고 점자 표기를 개선할 수 있는 효과를 기대한다.

한글문자를 기계화하기 위하여 로마문자로 표기하는 방법에 대한 새로운 제안을 한다. 현재 남한안이나 북한안은 서로 이견을 보이고 있어서 국제적 합의에 이르지 못하고 있다. 본 제안에서는 남, 북한 안과는 달리 영문자의 대문자와 소문자를 모두 활용하며 다양한 모음의 구성에서 음성학적으로 표기한다. 이 표기법은 자체의 합리성, 국제표준과의 호환성 판독의 편리성, 음성인식에의 이용성등에서 기존 표기체계보다 유리하다.

Over sixty Korean romanization systems have introduced in the course of history since 1800, but not most of them have experienced the test of proper duration. At present two major systems are introduced and focused in the bibliographic fields : Mccune-Reischauer system and Ministry of Culture & Tourism system(2000). Few libraries nay be driven to the new romanization schemes, however library users require a practical and easy-to-use Korean romanization system for searching the Korean items. From the view of bibliographic control for Korean information resources, the advantage and disadvantages for converting romanization systems have been shown as the result of the research.
