This study was conducted with the aim of exploring the essence of the achievements experienced by nursing students while enhancing their problem-solving abilities through simulation practical training. The study participants included 13 fourth-year nursing students, and data were collected through individual interviews conducted after the simulation practical training. Data analysis followed the qualitative research method of content analysis, involving coding, categorization, and thematization of the data. The results of this study revealed that nursing students' achievement experiences through simulation practical training included the following processes: "confirming confidence through improvement," "acknowledging change," "experiencing nursing self-efficacy," and "getting closer to the goal of clinical practice." Furthermore, it is suggested that efforts should be made to implement efficient operation and evaluation tools through multifaceted and meticulous design to promote integrated learning through simulation practical training and to confirm the process of internalizing knowledge through reflection by nursing students.

In nursing education, there has been efforts for enhancing the quality, with a growing interest in the utilization of digital technologies. In clinical training of nursing curriculum, the emphasis on digital technology is pronounced, as it has the potential to offer learners effective and accessible educational experience while enabling the integrated management of individualized learning outcomes. This study developed a digital nursing education platform, allowing educators and learners to select functionalities based on the educational content and characteristics of the learning tools. Additionally, the user interface was designed to facilitate learners' accurate understanding and execution of assigned tasks and objectives. The detailed design and implementation process of the platform are elaborated and then the validation of its usefulness was provided based on feedback from ten educators who are responsible for diverse subjects. The high usability of the digital nursing practicum education platform was confirmed, with potential implications for significant improvements in learner performance. The potential of this digital platform is to lead to innovative shifts in educational methodologies within the field of integrative nursing education.

The virtual laboratory is implemented by Java applets and FLASH animations, which provides the learners with improved experimental methods. If the learners have access to the virtual laboratory system through signing up procedure, they can acquire the fundamental concepts and make a virtual experiment on 8051 microcontroller. In addition, we have implemented the remote laboratory for practicing 8051 microcontroller, which can be used to compensate the absence of reality, occurred during virtual laboratory session. Finally, the proposed integration laboratory provides the learners with almost all the same and advantages as a real laboratory environment.

This study analyzed the effect of the teachers' personal variables to the teachers' recognition and attitude about the integrated education. The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic data of the strategic plan for the integrated education of the exceptional children. After survey of the daycare centers' teachers, I analyzed the impact of the individual variables experience, level, education level, experience of integrated education, disabled study - to the teachers' recognitions and behaviors of the integrated education. The results of this study are that personal variables showed different impacts according to the recognition and behaviors. However, integrated education experiences and disabled study experiences showed the important roles. Consequently, I suggest the disabled study and integrated education for the teachers.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships among self-leadership, communication and team efficacy of nursing students participating in integrated simulation training courses. Methods: Participants were 124 nursing students from the two different schools. Data were collected from December 2018 through January of 2019 and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: Self-leadership, communication and team efficacy were significantly different according to satisfaction of major, satisfaction of simulation course and satisfaction of leadership. Also significant correlations were found among self-leadership, communication and team efficacy. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that education programs based on simulation courses should be developed to promote self-leadership, communication and team efficacy of nursing students. A diverse simulation curriculum to improve the practical skills of nursing students needs to be developed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated nursing practicum education matrix based on the learning outcomes of each stage. Methods: In this Delphi technique study, 10 experts, consisting of six professors and four nurses, participated in the development of the matrix. The first step was an in-depth review for the composition of the questionnaire and the second step was the Delphi technique. The Delphi survey was conducted two times in order to complete the components of the matrix. The survey data was analyzed for statistical averages and standard deviations to decide the order of priority. Results: According to each stage (i.e. fundamental stage, competent stage, and proficient stage), the matrix was composed of education contents, methods, evaluation methods, and curriculum outcomes. Conclusion: The integrated nursing practicum education matrix of Y University was completed. The developed matrix will result in a reduction in the gap between nursing education and clinical practice and an improvement in nursing competency.

The purpose of this study is to explore which factors influence the performance of computer practice-education in vocational high schools. We collected 604 response data from total 7 vocational high schools in Seoul City to test empirical analysis using SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) frequently used in social-science area. According to our results, all independent variables(learner's response learner's motivation, learner's attitude, learning contents, intention to learn, learner's ability and learning behavior) were found positively influencing learning performance of students. Based upon them we contributed our research model to combine TRA theory in psychology with Holton theory for academic implications. And also, from the perspective of practical implication, we can expect that our results will provide some useful guidelines for operating effective computer-practice education.

This paper presents several case studies of asian colleges's co-op program for successful operation of KOREATECH IPP(Industry Professional Practice) program. The IPP program is a new educational model that combines academic study and industrial work through university-industry cooperation. The IPP experience will lead the university graduates to improve their employment competencies and will be a key to solve the problems of the labor mismatch between university and industry. We will discuss and analyze the strengths and the weaknesses of the Co-op programs of the Kyoto sangyo university, the Hong Kong polytechnic university and the suranaree university in thailand. Based on these case studies, we summarized several benchmarking points for the successful operation of IPP program.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of simulation practice education applying problem-based learning on problem-solving ability, critical thinking disposition, and learning satisfaction of nursing students. 63 nursing students taking the practice subject for integrated simulation at U University in K region were asked to complete a self-administered questionnaire to collect data before and after the simulation practice. The simulation practice education applying problem-based learning was effective in improving problem-solving ability and learning satisfaction significantly and positive correlation was found among problem-solving ability, critical thinking disposition, and learning satisfaction; that is, the better problem-solving ability, the higher level of critical thinking disposition and learning satisfaction. While the results of this study conducted in nursing students at a single university cannot be generalized, it was confirmed that simulation practice education applying problem-based learning was an effective teaching method in improving problem-solving ability and learning satisfaction of nursing students. It is therefore necessary to give simulation practice education applying problem-based learning on a systematic and continuous basis with the objective of improving problem-solving ability and learning satisfaction and promoting critical thinking disposition.
