In Korea, the independent publication market has grown since it came into existence in the 1990s. In 2008, the country's first independent bookstores selling independent publications opened. As of late 2019, there were a total of 466 independent bookstores in Korea and the number of independent bookstores rapidly increased for the last decade. However, the closing rate of independent bookstores is rapidly increasing. This trend is also shown in independent bookstores in Gwangju. Recently, the closing rate of independent bookstores in Gwangju is more than twice as high as the national average. Against this backdrop, this study intended to identify the current conditions of independent bookstores in the city, analyze the problems facing them, and find solutions. Independent bookstores in Gwangju currently make various efforts such as book curation, management of various supplementary programs, and book markets. However, the bookstores have problems including the curation and programs focused on specific areas, focus on limited generations, dependence on publications from the Seoul metropolitan area. To address these problems, this study proposed solutions such as diversifying publications through planning and developing of local contents, strengthening the taste-based salon nature, organizing networks of independent bookstores, and systematically incubating independent bookstores. At the system level, this study also suggested a need for local bookstore certification system, a complete execution of a fixed book price system, and a fair provision rate.

This study has analyzed the learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks that were published this year in the basis of 2009 revised curriculum using Anderson's taxonomy of Educational Objectives that was a revision of Bloom's taxonomy and Fuller's taxonomy that was presented for programming activities. Some dimensions of Anderson's taxonomy, such as conceptual and procedural knowledge, understand and apply in cognitive process are much more used in learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks. Interpreting and producing dimensions of taxonomy are well presented to balance in 6 Informatics textbooks by analysis of Fuller's taxonomy. This results will be a good case study in research about taxonomy of educational objectives and development of Informatics textbooks.

Recently, condensation heat exchangers have been studied for applications to the passive cooling systems of nuclear plants. To design vertical-type condensation heat exchangers in secondary passive cooling systems, TSCON (Thermal Sizing of CONdenser), a thermal sizing program for a condensation heat exchanger, was developed at KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). In this study, the existing condensation heat transfer correlation of TSCON was evaluated using 1,157 collected experimental data points from the heat exchanger of a secondary passive cooling system for the case of pure steam condensation. The investigation showed that the Shah correlation, published in 2009, provided the most satisfactory results for the heat transfer coefficient with a mean absolute error of 34.8%. It is suggested that the Shah correlation is appropriate for designing a condensation heat exchanger in TSCON.

The aim of this study is to develop and suggest a reading strategy to learn for integrating reading and writing. The reading and writing strategy could be divided in directed strategies related to the cognitive process and indirected strategies to carry out the process successfully. Therefore, its strategies are constructed of the indirected strategy corresponding with the instructional design model and the direct strategy containing specific action plans of the model's progressive stages. When considering the reading to learn could be run as a program in the school, in this study, the basic model of the indirected strategy is devised with four steps of 'preparing-designing-implementing-evaluating'. And the implementing stage of the read to learn combining reading and writing is consisted of six steps as 'selecting subjects-considering contents-searching-writing-correcting-publishing'. Also, proper indirected strategies such as graphic organization and checklists are suggested in order to assist reading and writing activities in the implementing stage.

This study aims to explore how the copyright for writers of informative TV programs and documentaries is protected in the reality of broadcasting. For this study, 12 writers and the head of copyright department of the Korea TV & Radio Writers Association were interviewed in depth for research. Our interview findings suggest that writers have worked without written agreement signed by some form of legally binding contract. Instead, they have made verbal contracts. Writers should be aware of the reality of copyrights and request to readjust of basic copywriting fee from the Writers Association and each broadcasting station.

This study has analyzed the characteristics of the French method of childrearing which is drawing attention recently based on the psychoanalytic theory of François Dolto, the so-called French people's godmother, the child psychoanalyst. Dolto is a psychoanalyst who represents France and is the unique character who was loved by the public and established unique frame of child psychoanalytic analysis by combining psychoanalysis and pediatrics. She cherished communication through conversation with infants and toddlers and has perceived even the babies who can not speak yet as a lingual being who understands words. This study has selected domestically published books on French method of childrearing and documentary broadcasting program which dealt with childrearing, classified the common theme and deducted four core words, which are temperance, perseverance, waiting, autonomy and rule, authority and respect and independence and self-reliance. These core themes have been explained based on Dolto's theory of communication, infans, castration, subject and others and desire etc. Also, a new direction has been proposed for the child education in households and childrearing by Korean parents through French method of childrearing.

The purpose of this study is to use meta-analysis as a research method to investigate the correlation between early child teachers' teaching efficacy and their job satisfaction, and thereby look into the effect size of the two variables and their sub-variables. To achieve the purpose, this researcher chose a total of 37 theses for analysis and collected 289 data for analyzing the effect size. Based on the data, CMA(Comprehensive Meta Analysis) 2.0 was applied. According to the analysis, the correlation between early childhood teachers' teaching efficacy and their job satisfaction was higher than the medium effect size on the basis of Cohen(1992) research. In the sub-variables of teaching efficacy, the correlation of personal teaching efficacy with job satisfaction showed higher effect size than that of general teaching efficacy. In the sub-variables of job satisfaction, the correlation between the belief in job and teaching efficacy showed the highest effect size. In terms of thesis type as a moderating variable, Ph.D dissertations showed higher effect size than journals or M.A. theses. As the result of the meta-analysis on publishing year and the number of samples, there was no statistical significance. On the basis of the analysis results, discussions and limitations of this study were suggested.

This study is to suggest the concrete application plan of BIBFRAME under the development of BIBFRAME as library specific ontology for linked open data. The several research methods are used as the literature reviews, the case study of LC and LD4P, and the survey of cataloging librarians which is to grasp understanding level of the linked data related terms and requirements for constructing LOD. The application plan is suggested as follows. First, publishing name authority data and subject heading in LOD are prominent as the startup with creating terms list or vocabulary in LOD that has been used in library for controlled vocabulary and data value. Second, it is needed to develop BIBFRAME application and extension modeling in Korea, to map KORMARC and the properties and classes of BIBFRAME, and to develop the editor and MARC to BIBFRAME Transformation Tools. Third, the systematical training for cataloging librarians is designed to regard BIBFRAME related works as the librarian's main field. Therefore, this study would contribute to seek the practical application plan for BIBFRAME in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the systematic review and meta analysis the effect of community based rehabilitation on elderly people with mild cognitive impairment by ICF factors. This study used PubMed MEDLINE, Cochrane CENTRAL database from January 2009 to January 2019. As a result, a total of 5 studies were selected. The ICF factor effect size of the community based rehabilitation was 4.77 for physical function and structure, and 6.17 for activity and participation. The results of this study showed that the effect of community based rehabilitation of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment is effective on physical function, structure, activities and participation.

We aimed to identify the differences between Korean and Chinese calligraphy therapy by examining the trends in Korean and Chinese calligraphy therapy and the effectiveness of the dependent variables. For the study, we initially screened 288 Korean articles and 429 Chinese articles, totaling 717 articles, published from January 1997 to December 2021. Using the PICOTS-SD standard, 6 Korean articles, 9 Chinese articles, and 15 total articles were identified as eligible for the study, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0, a Microsoft EXCEL program. We found that there were significant differences in the number of follow-ups among publication formats, disease types, and main activity techniques (p<.05), and significant differences in the number of research and experimental participants in calligraphy therapy studies published in Korea and China and in the type of effect verification of the dependent variable (p<.01). In addition, based on the literature review and data analysis, it was found that there were differences in the qualities and experience of Korean and Chinese therapists and the intervention contents and methods of calligraphy therapy.
