  • This study has been started by the trendy analysis of parody in post-modern dance. Creative parody is not an imitative work but provides new originality of a work of art and serves as the criticism. Since the 1960s the trend and characteristics of using parody in post-modern dance can be classified into five concepts which are the cultural diversity, the autonomous thinking ability, the aesthetic perception, the use of the mass media and the cultural relations of the critical process. In conclusion, the parody elements in post-modern dance are due to the cultural diversity, and the experimental values which are divided into the beauty of content and mode has been acted as the important factors to achieve the parody elements to new dimension.

  • Since the cognitive science developed as a brandl of academic researdl, studies on human brains have flourished. Emotional features have been centered on the field of design, and the development of the design process has been diversified that makes use of the factors. The purpose of this study is to reflect the current trend and to convert the results into a method for designing. The researdl is based on the mind map techniques which spread like a trendy fashion, and tries to supply a theoretical explanation of how to overcome the fixed idea. Recognizing the importance of learned information in approaching a problem, I regarded the roles of left and right brain as analogue and digital images interpreting them by freely crossing language(digital images) and visual thought (analogue images), using mapping tedlniques. I pursued the research goal of the techniques focusing on the idea of using mapping. As a result of this. I established a logic system [figure 8] in that a proposition which starts as a problem introduction goes on until a problem solution, which is visualized with concept presentation, using a brainstorming technique. According to the suggested concept. I concluded that idea proliferation as a design demand can be solved by applying mapping techniques like one shown in figure 12.

  • As it is not long since the gifted education was implemented in elementary school, it is necessary to accumulate the practical studies on the mathematically gifted education. This paper focused on enhancing creativity by providing the various and divergent thinking activities for mathematically gifted students. For this purpose, I prepared two mathematics problems, and , and let the mathematically gifted 5th grade students solve them. After that, I investigated to analyse their reactions in detail and tried to find the methods for assessing their divergent products. Finally, I found that they could pose various and meaningful calculating equations and also identify the various relations between two numbers. I expect that accumulating these kinds of practical studies will contribute to the developments of gifted education, in particular, instructions, assessments, and curriculum developments for the mathematically gifted students in elementary schools.

  • Drawing upon Vygotsky's theory, this paper explores the possibilities of imaginative education and those implications in relation to emotions. Imagination is an important element of future competencies as well as creativity. But there is a big dilemma in an educational intervention about imagination. If imagination is naturally occurring and therefore considered a mysterious ability that is specific to a child, education should not intervent as much as possible so that it can be expressed and preserved. It is linked to Piaget's influence, which regards imagination as a mental immaturity of childhood. Vygotsky who is a developmental psychologist argues that mind is generated from the socio-cultural origins in opposition to Piaget's spontaneous generation and emphasizes that it is a core characteristic of human to create something through interaction with the world. Vygotsky consider that 'imagination' which synthesizes empirical material and creates a new image is a key factor in human creativity. He reminded us of the possibilities and importance of imaginative education by revealing that imagination is not limited to childhood but constantly develops through cultural experience. Especially Vygotsky's understanding has important implications for future education in relation to emotion. Imagination plays a role of expressing and dealing with human emotions. Unlike the reason-centered society in the past, future society demands a big role of imagination in education for dealing with emotional knowledge and morality.

  • This thesis, in terms of epistemology, aims to show the new possibility of digital interface. First, the thesis surveys the history of digital interface, and clarifies that current interface is the product of accidental gauge. The fact that it is not the inevitable result hints the infinite area of new digital interface. The current limited interface comes from the limited understanding of digital technologies and digital media. For example, it can be referred to metaphoric comprehension, 'black box.' This thesis tries to get over such comprehension, considering digital as a kind of light. New epistemology in which digital is regarded as light and medium extends to the ethics that interface design should become a creative activity, accepting the difference and making a new design.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching and learning model for the field of engineering to nurture innovative thinking and competency in engineering elites of the next generation. We have reviewed the literature to find out the necessary thinking and capabilities required for the next-generation engineers, and analyzing domestic and international case studies. As a result, we have created Scientific Inquiry and Creative Activity with Technology (SICAT) as a teaching and learning model applicable for the Fusion Materials field. SICAT model is classified ARDA, CoCD, ReSh type to apply directly in class according to teaching and learning objective. And we developed SICAT teaching and learning model guidebook for teachers. In near future, It should be consolidated the validity of the model and improved succeedingly in engineering education through applying and analyzing effectiveness in classes.

  • The development of information and communications technologies(ICT) is changing school education, which is a center of teaching/lession process. Information and communications technologies can not guarantee quality education appropriate for knowledge & information society. Interactions between ICT and educational environment, change in the role of teachers, and shift in teaching strategies for educational contents and learning method would be required. This paper has studied the relationship between school education and ICT, change in the role of teachers, and a direction in teaching strategies to take advantage of ICT in school education. For this purpose, it has endeavored to offer an ideal ICT environment by researching both some cases in the foreign countries and the seventh educational process in Korea. In conclusion, this study recommends the followings; First, interactive environment between school and ICT is necessary to make education appropriate to knowledge-information society; Secondly, in the structutive teaching/learing process based upon ICT classroom, teachers should not be the old role player, such as knowledge transfer and learning manager any longer; instead, they should stimulate more social and conversational thinking, and integrate ICT into teaching process; Thirdly, teaching strategies need to change for the purpose of promoting evaluative thinking productive thinking creative thinking.

  • This study is to help creative idea generation based on the theory of the 'reconstruction of character shape image elements', and aims to extrusion of creative and diverse shapes with combination of image elements upon computing creative image generation. In order to suggest the design generation methodology for the maximization of idea generation ability and to overcome restriction of thinking out of existing idea generation methodology, it has suggested the CGS(Character Generation System) that is a creative idea generation methodology identified and complemented the problem of the existing computerized idea generation(PDS with Proportion) method out of the preceded studies on the creative idea generation methodologies. this study is expected to have effectives as one method for idea generation or creative image generation assistance during the 3D character development process, and to serve as an assistance to overcome the restriction of the character shape image generation through diverse idea generations.

  • It is necessary to accumulate the studies on the practical learning and teaching for the Mathematical talent education in elementary school. In this study, I set the 4th grade children mathematically gifted in elementary school to pose the various number calculating formulars, 4 4 4 4 = 0, 1, 2,$\cdots$10, by using to +, -, ${\times}$, $\div$, ( ). And I analysed their products. In 2007, I gave the same task to 5th graders and got a significant result. To expand the target of my study, I used the same investigating method for children of different graders. As a result, I conclude that math brains in 4th grade also can create various many number calculating formulas. I find that children pose to various many calaulating formulars becoming 0, 1, 8, 4 in order whereas they pose to a little calaulating formulars becoming 10, 6, 5, 9 orderly. Most errors are due to the order of calculation or confusion about parenthesis. This study contributes to test methods and text development for math brains in elementary school.
