Traffic Signal Control for Oversaturated Diamond Interchanges (과포화 다이아몬드형 인터체인지의 교통신호제어모형의 개발)

  • 다이아몬드형 인터체인지는 고속도로와 노면가로가 교차할 경우 방향별 교통류를 처리하는데 보편적으로 사용하는 인터체인지이다. 인터체인지에 교통량의 부하가 과도해지 면 인터체인지내부의 교차로에서 발생한 대기차량이 종종 고속도로본선으로 역류하여 본선 의 교통소통에 문제를 야기하며 특히 고속도로의 안전에도 큰 위험요소가 된다. 본 논문은 과포화상태의 다이아몬드형 인터체인지의 교통신호제어를 다루며, 신호시간계획을 산출하는 동적 최적화모형(dynamic optimization model)을 제시한다. 최적화 모형은 지체도최소화를 목적함수로 하며, 함수계측법의 형태가 된다. 본 모형의 핵심은 신호제어에 따라 발생하는 대기차량길이를 모형화하여 대기차량길이가 정해진 상한치를 초과하지 않도록 하는 신호시 간계획을 산출하는데 있다. 제시된 동적모형은 다이아몬드형 인터체인지의 신호시간을 위하 여 널리 사용되는 PASSER III와 최적해를 상호 비교한다. TRAF-NETSIM을 통한 시뮬레이 션의 결과에 따르면 동적 모형이 우수한 결과를 보이며, 대기차량의 길이를 효과적으로 제 어하는 것으로 판명된다.

  • 차량 제어 시스템은 안전성을 우선 고려하여 정적인 구조로 개발되어왔지만, 사용자들은 동적인 구조의 차량 제어 시스템을 바라고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차량 제어 시스템에 워크플로우를 도입하여 Plug & Play를 가능하게 하는 방법을 데모 시스템 상에 구현하여 실제 구현 가능성을 모색하였다.

  • 항만용 자율주행 야드트럭운행 환경은 무신호교차로 주행, 낮은 GPS정확도, 악천후상황주행, 이송 컨테이너 위치변경등과 같이 일반 도로의 센서기반의 자율주행차량 운행과 다르게 매우 복잡하다. 이를 위해서는 항만내 특성을 반영한 실시간 위치, 속도 등에 대한 정확한 인식이 중요한 요소이다. 이를 위해서 센서융합과 V2X기반의 복합적인 항만용 실시간 로컬 동적지도 (Local Dynamic Map) 생성 및 V2X기반의 협력측위를 통하여서 기존의 독립적인 자율주행차량의 위치 인식보다 더 개선된 고정밀 위치 인식 정보추출이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 복합적인 항만용 동적지도 생성관리시스템의 설계 방안 및 협력측위 기술 적용 방안을 제시하고 이를 활용한 항만 구역내 자율주행차량 및 모든 화물 이송장비들의 실시간 위치 인식뿐만 아니라 이동체의 사전 충돌예측 및 비상정지 안전 제어 가능한 V2X 기반의 인텔리젼스 한 3차원 관제시스템 설계 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The Dynamic Interaction Analysis of Actively Controlled Maglev and Guideway Bridge Systems (능동제어를 고려한 자기부상열차와 가이드웨이 교량의 동적상호작용 해석)

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine the dynamic interaction characteristics between moving maglev vehicle and guideway bridge system. For this purpose, the dynamic governing equation of 2-dof maglev vehicle using optimal feedback control scheme of LQG was derived with or without consideration of the dynamic interaction between vehicle and guideway bridge system. From the parametric study, it was found that the dynamic interaction effect between bridge and vehicle was large in case of neglecting the railway roughness effect. But if the railway roughness effect was considered, it was observed two analysis results with or without consideration of the dynamic interaction did not show big difference. As a conclusion, it is required to take into account the dynamic interaction effect of bridge and maglev vehicle and the railway roughness for precise evaluation of runnability of maglev vehicle and impact factor of guideway.

  • A study on the vehicle stability is discussed. In the field of the studies the electronic control systems help overcoming the limit of improvement in vehicle performance with the methods above. Driving stability is mainly incorporated with the later motion of a vehicle generated by the driver's steering input. Recently VDC system has been studieed in order to improve the active stability. This VDC system uses the active braking force. This paper propose the ATC that uses driving force. This paper compared VDC with ATC through an experiment.

  • In this paper, a method of dynamic modeling is proposed for a hydraulic power transmission with Merrite-Wilson gear train and a computer simulation program for dynamic analysis of the power transmission is developed. Using this computer program the transient characteristics during the gear change are observed and the influence of transmission design parameters and hydraulic control parameters are analysed. Through this result of study a criteria for the good shift quality is derived.

  • The driver's steering wheel maneuver is a typical disturbance that causes excessive body motion and traveling instability of a vehicle. Abrupt and extreme operation can cause rollover depending on the geometric and dynamic characteristics, e.g., SUV vehicles. In this study, to cope with the performance limitation of conventional cars, fundamental research on the structurization of a control system was performed as follows. Mathematical modeling of the lateral behavior induced by driver input was carried out. A controller was designed to reduce the body motion based on this model. An algorithm was applied to secure robust control performance against modeling errors due to parameter uncertainty, $H_{\infty}$. Using the decoupled 1/4 car, a dynamic load simulating model considering the body moment was suggested. The simulation result showed the validity of the load-simulating model. The framework for a lateral behavior control system is proposed, including an experimental 1/4 vehicle unit, load simulating module, suspension control module, and hardware-in-the-loop simulation technology.

  • Integrating a field of transportation and IT is becoming a novel solution to social and economic problems which was previously focused on the investment in infrastructures. It also created new areas of industry such as ITS and telematics. Especially, vehicle communication is being considered very important and DSRC is also important in the field of rational ITS in recent. DSRC OBE has come into wide use through ETCS. In the field of traffic signal control, the research to implement an optimal traffic signal control system using a real-time information of good quality is being carried out and also the study of WISDOM was successfully completed. This paper shows the development of Dynamic-Dilemma zone warning service utilizing WISDOM and the evaluation of a reliability and a practicality through the field test. While the proposed Dynamic-Dilemma warning system transmits an information of signal time optimized by WISDOM, the OBE which receives this information makes dilemma zone based on its location and speed and gives warning to a driver.

  • In magnetic levitation vehicles, the clearance between the magnet and track should be maintained within an allowable range through a feedback control loop. The flexibility of the guideway would introduce additional modes in the overall suspension system, resulting in dynamic interaction between the guideway vibration and the electromagnetic suspension control system. This dynamic interaction can be a serious problem, particularly at very low speeds or standstill, and may cause airgap instability. To optimize the overall system dynamics, an integrated dynamic model including mechanical and electrical parts and a flexible guideway as well as a control loop was developed. With the proposed model, airgap simulations at standstill were performed while varying the control gains, specifically with the aim of understanding the effects of gains of the PID controller on the airgap variation. The findings may be used to achieve a stable levitation controller design.

  • 현재 차량 내 네트워크에서 주로 쓰이는 CAN 프로토콜은 네트워크 내에 다수의 노드가 연결되어 동작하는 경우 우선순위가 낮은 메시지의 전송지연이 심각하게 발생할 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 다양한 제어 방법들이 제안되어 시험되고 있는데, 본 논문에서는 동적 ID 차당 기법을 연로전지 하이브리드 자동차 네트워크 시스템에 적용하여 각 장치들간의 메시지 전송 지연문제를 해결 하며, 또한 이로 인해 발생하는 차량 내 네트워크 시스템의 수행 주기 변화의 문제점을 샘플링 주기 결정 기법을 이용하여 효율적으로 해결하였다.
