Influence of the Perception of Vocational Ethics and Education on Job Stress and Job Commitment in Occupational Therapists (작업치료사의 직업윤리와 교육에 대한 인식이 직무스트레스와 직무몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The aimed of this research was to identify the influence of perception of the vocational ethics and education on job stress and job commitment in occupational therapists. 173 occupational therapists measure for perception of vocational ethics and education, job stress and job commitment, the findings of the study were as follows. First, perception of vocational ethics and education was correlated with job stress, job commitment(p<.01). Second, perception of vocational ethics and education sub-factor of education experience(p<.01), seriousness of ethical issues(p<.05) was found to have affected the job stress. Third, perception of vocational ethics and education sub-factor of education experience(p<.05) was found to have affected the job commitment. Through the results of this study, systematic education will be needed to recognize the importance of vocational ethics and improve it.

The Impact of Psychological Capital on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment Among Employees of Social Enterprises (사회적기업 조직구성원의 심리적 자본이 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the relationships among psychological capital, job satisfaction and organizational commitment based on survey data from employees of social enterprises in Busan & Ulsan Region area. The main findings of the study are as follows: first, psychological capital of social enterprise's employee was positively associated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment while there was also a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of social enterprises. Second, empirical analysis also shows that job satisfaction mediated both the relationship of psychological capital and organizational commitment of social enterprises. This study contributes to our understanding of relationship between psychological capital/job satisfaction and organizational commitment of social enterprises by suggesting an empirical study, highlighting the role of psychological capital, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of social enterprise's employees.

The Effect of Nurse's Coaching Leadership on Self-Efficacy, Job Engagement and Innovative Behavior in Hospital (간호사의 코칭리더십이 자기효능감, 직무열의 및 혁신행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the causal relationship among coaching leadership, self-efficacy, job engagement, innovative behavior and to specify the mediating effects on the relationship between coaching leadership and innovative behavior. Participants were 240 nurses with survey. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used to analyze the collected data. The result of this study were as follows. First, coaching leadership had a significant effect on self-efficacy, job engagement. Second, coaching leadership had not a significant effect on innovative behavior. Third, self-efficacy had a significant effect on job engagement, innovative behavior. Fourth, job engagement had a significant effect on innovative behavior. Fifth, self-efficacy and job engagement had a mediating effect on the relationship between coaching leadership and innovative behavior. Based on these results, we discussed the rule of self-efficacy and job engagement in the relationship between coaching leadership and innovative behavior. The implication of this study was that in order to induce the active employee's innovative behavior is to improve the employee's self-efficacy and job engagement through the supervisor's coaching leadership.

The Effects of Emotional Leadership on Job Insecurity and Organizational Cynicism Perceive by Hotel Employees (호텔구성원의 감성리더십 인식이 직무불안정성과 조직냉소주의에 미치는 영향)

  • This research verified influential relationship among the emotional leadership, job insecurity, and organizational cynicism targeting hotel members. Total 280 questionnaires were distributed and 271questionnaires were collected, among them, 254 questionnaires were finally utilized excluding unfaithful responses or uncompleted questionnaires. When investigating analysis result, first, as the result of investigating the relation between emotional leadership and job insecurity, self-recognition ability and self-control ability displayed meaningful negative (-) influential relation on job loss possibility and job influence weakening that compose job insecurity. Also, other relation ability of emotional leadership displayed meaningful negative (-) influential relation only in job influence weakening of job insecurity. Second, as the result of investigating relation between emotional leadership and organizational cynicism, emotional leadership did not show meaningful influential relation on organizational cynicism. The researcher expects that management of job insecurity through emotional leadership can be helpful to hotel management outcome, and it is determined that efforts per each division or overall hotel is required to have no alienated member by recognizing importance of management on organizational cynicism.

The Meditating Role of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in the Relationship between Each of Job Characteristics and Turnover Intentions of Shopping Center Employees (쇼핑센터 종업원의 개별직무특성과 이직의도 간의 관계에 대한 직무만족과 조직몰입의 매개작용)

  • The mediating role of job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the relationship between each of five job characteristics and turnover intentions was examined. Using Baron and Kenny(1986)'s approach for examining mediation hypotheses, results: (1) revealed that job satisfaction was a mediator in task significance-turnover intentions and autonomy-turnover intentions; (2) revealed that organizational commitment was a mediator in task identity-turnover intentions, task significance-turnover intentions, and autonomy-turnover intentions. The implications of the present findings were discussed.

Impact of Unmet Expectations on Manager's Job Burnout: Examination of the mediating role of Overcommitment (관리자의 기대불일치가 직무소진에 미치는 영향 : 과다몰입의 매개효과 검증)

  • This research was designed to verify the causal relationships between organization managers' unmet expectations and job burnout and the mediating effects of overcommitment based on the effort-rewards imbalance theory. It was also intended to evaluate the moderating effect of LMXSC on the relationship between overcommitment and job burnout. 172 branch managers working at commercial bank were selected as the target research group. This study was validated by The SPSS 24.0, the reliability was justified through the factor analysis, and the casual relationship was confirmed through the three-step regression. As a result, unmet expectations had a strong positive correlation with job burnout and overcommitment. Overcommitment had a strong positive correlation with the mediating effect between unmet expectations and job burnout. Moderating effects of LMXSC were not significant. This study showed the practical implication between unmet expectations, overcommitment, and job burnout. Additionally it exhibited the job design and management practice in manager groups where the importance of their role has been expanded. Lastly, we found the interdisciplinary implication from making an effort to elaborate the antecedent of variables.

The Effect of Coaching Leadership on Resilience, Interpersonal Competence and Job Performance (코칭리더십이 회복탄력성, 대인관계능력 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the effect of coaching leadership on resilience, interpersonal competence, and job performance, and identifies whether resilience and interpersonal competence mediate the relationship between coaching leadership and job performance. For this purpose, the data were collected for 240 nurses at U University Hospital in Ulsan City. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used to analyze the statistical data and the validity of the this study. The results of this study showed as follows. First, coaching leadership has significantly affected resilience, interpersonal competence and job performance. Second, resilience has significantly affected interpersonal competence and job performance. Third, interpersonal competence have significantly affected job performance. Fourth, resilience and interpersonal competence had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between coaching leadership and job performance. Based on this study, we discussed the important rule of coaching leadership, resilience, interpersonal competence to improve job performance.

  • As the importance of national technical qualifications for hairdressers to verify qualifications and skills as a professional is increasing, it is time to improve achievement motivation and job attitudes through research on job attitudes perceived by hair designers toward hair practical tasks. As a result of studying the effect on the job attitude of a hairstylist working in a hair salon, it was found that blow-drying induced the hairstylist's job efficacy among the practical tasks for the hairdresser's hair national technology certification, and scalp scaling and shampoo were the job of the hairstylist. was found to induce satisfaction. Based on the research results, it is possible to present a variety of practical certification tasks with practicality that can be usefully applied to customers in various techniques in the beauty industry, rather than unrealistic practical techniques limited only to wigs. We want to induce improvement. In addition, I believe that this study will provide basic data for the development of various practical tasks to improve the achievement motivation of hair designers.

Exploring the Moderating Effect of Job Crafting in the Relationship between Child-care Teachers' Flourish and Care that Respects the Rights of Child (보육교사의 플로리시와 영유아권리존중보육 간 영향 관계에서 자기주도직무설계의 조절효과 탐색)

  • The importance of the child-care teacher's job has recently been greatly emphasized due to changes in the transitional social environment, but the performance conditions are poor, requiring management of various job factors. For the purpose of providing information for practical application and institutional support related to child-care teachers, this study selected Flourish, Care that Respects the Rights of Child, and Job Crafting to verify the functional impact relationship and effectiveness. Since there are no domestic studies on child-care teachers using these variables, hierarchical regression analysis was performed on 223 child-care teachers to obtain initial information. As a result of the analysis, only the average difference between groups was found in terms of Flourish according to age and Negative Job Demand Reduction according to working hours. And it was found that the Enhancement of Social Job Resources had a moderating effect. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a new job management strategy based on the information provided by this study and to develop a highly effective reinforcement program for each factor.

The Effect of Job Characteristics on the Coffee Shop Barista Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention - Focusing on Seoul·Gyeonggi Area - (커피전문점 바리스타의 직무특성이 직무만족, 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 서울·경기 지역을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is composed of both a research of research literature and empirical analysis. With regard to literature based, consideration was given to present conditions of domestic coffee shops, thhe definition of barista, the duty characteristics baristas, and intention to change job. Empirical analysis established hypotheses and verified the effect of duty characteristics on job satisfaction and turnover intention. A survey to verifying the hypothesis of study was performed for 400 baristas who were working at their coffee shops with selecting coffee shops randomly in Seoul and Kyeonggi-do. 2012.08.15~2012.08.30, for 15 days, I performed survey, without faithless answers and questionnaires which weren't written, I used total 331 papers for actual analysis. Collected basic data were analyzed through SPSS 18.0 program by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, factorial analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and so on. I suggested like this for managing effective human resources. For increasing satisfaction of duty of barista, manager should give opportunity for attending important duty to barista, and because of this, barista can feel sense of responsibility and self-esteem.
