The record industry, which consists of the cultural industries, has been deeply interrelated with the innovations of the science and the technologies. In Korea, the record industry has been developed dramatically since the late 1980s, and thus it has formed a huge business, and has also brought a lot of accompanying economical effects. The record industry is constituted with four circulation steps such as producing, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing, which follow the different locational orients, respectively. The purpose oi this study is to investigate the locational characteristics of each step. Because of the shortage of the data, this study based on the direct data from field studies, interviews, and surveys, as well as the existing document data. The results of this research are summarized as following: the record industry shows strong concentrations in Seoul and the surrounding areas. It also shows the spatial linkage with other industries that are necessary for the production, advertisement, and sales of records. The locations of the record producers are affected by the location of broadcasting stations. Therefore, they are concentrate in Kangnam and Yeouido, where many broadcasting stations are located.

This paper explores the current situation of the broadcasting program production by video journalists (VJs), one of the recent trends of broadcasting production, centering around the programs made in Daejeon. The result of the survey shows that VJ programs are considered to be one of the generalized broadcasting program production systems. Thus, production costs should be γeadjusted to a realistic level in order to secure the good quality VJ programs in the current situation. Local broadcasting stations should depart from the idea that they make a VJ program subcontract to produce programs at low cost. It is time to support good quality VJ programs financially and systematically. The survey also reveals that most video journalists cannot participate in the decision-making process regarding program production. Local broadcastings should cooperate with video journalists, as co-producers, in producing the programs. Besides, VJ programs have some disadvantages such as limitation of high definition image production, poor image quality, instability of images taken, etc Hence, video journalists should also try to make better image quality of their broadcasting programs. Local subcontractors should make efforts to overcome their poor manpower and production environments as well. By economizing their scale of production and updating their production equipment, subcontractors need to constantly develop the contents related to local community which make them more competitive.

An local area weather condition monitoring system to minimize many disasters from the sudden change of weather condition in local and mountain area is proposed. Firstly, the comparison of present state of the related monitoring systems and the possibility of realization with some merits are investigated. Moreover, this paper present direction of local area weather condition monitoring system based on integration of wireless sensor network and CDMA network following some case study. Through the efficient integration of both networks, the measured weather condition data from sensors can be transmitted to the server or mobile to monitor with high reliability. The proposed monitoring system will guide new type of project in wireless sensor network and support alarm service of the sudden change of weather condition to mobile user from central official regulations.

In the age of media convergence the influx of foreign TV content is quickly influencing the landscape of Korean media. The objective of this research is to analyze and explore the localization and Koreanization of Master Chef USA into Master Chef Korea and how its successful adaptation, transformation, and localization was made possible. The study pays close attention to TV personalities' relationships, behaviors and communication skills along with the choice of food ingredients and themes in the 2014 episodes for both Master Chef USA and Master Chef Korea. Furthermore, the research seeks to challenge the widely spread belief that localization of foreign TV content serves the public interest. Rather it seeks to articulate that depending on the media environment, private entities are becoming the benefactors of foreign TV content adaptations.

Recently, there are many real life applications that uses drones. There are various applications such as the aerial shot with the drones for the broadcasting service or drone racing competition and so on. Specifically, they patrol for the traffic enforcement on a highway. The police department use the 'Spot Mobility' method which float the drones for 30 minute period. However, this method is inefficient for the wide area with small numbers of enforcement. Therefore, a wireless network system consists of drones to patrol on the highway systematically is required. In this paper, the most efficient routing protocol will be selected for the MANET drone network by applying various routing protocols. To accomplish this, the drone patrol network system with routing protocols are designed and simulated in OPNET simulator.

This study focuses on the cultural and economic effects created by long-term TV dramas that run more than 20 years. The result of this study shows that long-lasting TV dramas have significant influence in increasing audience ratings of TV broadcasting companies. An analysis of Fuji Television's "From the Northern Country" shows that the drama's audience rating has more than doubled at the end period in comparison to that at the beginning stage. The analysis shows that long-term dramas also greatly contribute to the improvement of nation's cultural capability including contents development competence by producing media contents related professionals such as actors, actresses and dramatists. Fuji Television picked an actor and an actress for the drama and kept developing their talent and make a cultural accomplishment to produce new talents who compete with performance ability for the Japanese Entertainment Business. In addition, long lasting TV dramas appear to significantly contribute to local economy by promoting tourism industry of the areas where dramas are filmed. By introducing Hurano in Hokkaido which was the main stage of "From the Northern Country" to Japanese people for 21 years, the drama played a decisive role in building Hurano's brand power.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among vividness, consensus, reliability, homogeneity, ties and acceptance of WOM (Word Of Mouth), consumer attitude, SNS WOM transmission, offline WOM transmission, and visit intention perceived by married women consumers who learned SNS WOM regarding restaurants. This study performed a survey targeting married women, focusing on broadcasting stations, department stores, major supermarkets, government offices, and cultural centers in Busan. The surveying period was from March 1, 2014 to March 31, 2014. 304 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. As a result of the analysis, it could be concluded that vivid and reliable SNS words raise the level of acceptance of WOM, reliability makes consumer attitude positive, and homogeneity raises the level of acceptance of WOM, consumer attitude, SNS WOM transmission, and offline WOM transmission intention. In addition, it could be confirmed that acceptance of WOM have significant effects on consumer attitude and offline WOM transmission, and consumer attitude have positive effects on SNS WOM transmission, offline WOM transmission, and visit intention. Lastly, it could be learned that SNS WOM transmission and offline WOM transmission have significant effects on visit intention.
