Modeling of a Transmission Control Cable for Vibration Analysis (트랜스미션 컨트롤 케이블의 진동 해석을 위한 모델링)

  • A transmission control cable connects the transmission control arm and the control lever mechanically and transfers control effort exerted by a driver to the transmission. It also transfers vibration generated by the engine to the passenger room through mechanical connection. To understand vibration and noise transfer mechanism and to further find a way to suppress the transmission of vibration effectively, a dependable dynamic vibration model is a necessity. A vibration model for a transmission control cable is developed and a simulation study has been conducted to obtain mode frequencies and a transmittability. The resonance frequencies obtained by an harmonic analysis is compared with the noise level measurement data. The measurement agrees with the simulation result thus ensures the reliability of the model.

  • 제한수신시스템(Conditional Access System, CAS)은 사용자의 조건에 따라 방송에 대한 접근을 제어하는 시스템으로 유료 방송 시스템에서 인가된 사용자만이 해당 프로그램에 접근할 수 있도록 하는 콘텐츠 보안 기술이다. 최근에는 기존의 하드 웨어 기반 CAS가 가지는 이기종 기기간 호환성과 다른 서비스와의 연동 등의 문제를 해결하고자 CAS 모듈을 소프트웨어로 구현하여 네트워크를 통해 설치하는 교환 가능형 제한수신시스템(eXchangeable CAS, 이하 XCAS) 방식을 도입하여 활발하게 서비스를 제공하고 있다. XCAS는 기존 CableCard방식이 가지는 CAS의 보안성과 분리교환 원칙을 유지하면서도 다양한 단말에 쉽게 설치하여 서비스가 가능하다는 점에서 큰 장점을 가지고 있지만, 방송수신만을 목적으로 하는 DTV(Digtal Television)에 대해 적용하기가 어렵다는 문제점이 존재하였다. 본 논문에서는 케이블방송환경에서 DTV를 통한 유료방송서 비스 제공을 위한 DTV 인증 및 XCAS 서비스에 필요한 SM(Secure Module) 모듈을 다운로드하기 위한 기법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, wrinkle reduction design was studied for triangular sail. Wrinkles in the solar sail membrane can change the load path and surface topology which may have an adverse effect on propulsion performance and controllability. In this study, wrinkle reduction strategies of adjusting cable angle, catenary and catenary-wire schemes were considered and the design parameters for wrinkle reduction were systematically investigated.

  • This paper describes a dnw serial interface system which uses comma free code. Typically parallel 25 pin cable and connectors are used to transfer and receive the data between digital systems such as HDVCR, D3VTR and HDTV Receiver.The coaxial cable is more desirable for consumer product applications and also for studio applications where long signal paths and switching are requeired. This serial data trasfer technique is possible the error detection and the self synchronization, also easy edge insertion for PLL control. It is also cost effective because is does not requeire RF PLL, scrambling, and NRZI hardware.

  • 복잡한 구조를 가진 케이블의 빠르고 정확한 검사를 위해 다중 입출력 검사 장치가 사용된다. 기존의 검사 장치의 제어 방법은 한번에 여러 가지 회선 특성을 가진 케이블의 검사가 불가능하며, 장치 안정성 및 검사 성능에 있어서 개선의 여지가 있으므로 이를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 입출력 장치의 검사 시퀀스 및 하드웨어 개량을 통한 개선 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 검사 명령 및 검사 결과를 저장하는 데이터 패킷에서 검사 명령을 좀더 세분화하여 패킷을 최적화하고 중복 명령을 제거하였으며, 입출력 신호 충돌 가능성을 차단하였다. 또한, I2C 버스 양방향 회로를 사용하여 전압 레벨 차이를 극복하고 활용성을 높일 수 있었다.

  • Flexural resistance evaluation of FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) was performed according to the grain size of rolled copper foil by adding 0.1wt% silver (Ag) and electrodeposited copper foil by slitting method after heat-treatment. These methods are aimed at enhancing the flexural durability of the FFC by growing the grain size of copper foil. By increasing the grain size of the copper foil and minimizing the miss-orientation at grain boundaries, the residual stress at the grain boundaries of the copper foil is reduced and the durability of the FFC is improved. Maximizing an average grain size of copper foil can be got a good solution in order to enhance the durability of the FFC or FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board).

  • In this paper, we proposed a TDC based F/T sensorless active compliance control algorithm for a rehabilitation robot (KARES II). The preference of compliance of the disabled is presented by clinical testing at Korea National Rehabilitation Center with the disabled. The KARES II was designed to work 12 predefined tasks which are very essential for helping the disabled. Among the tasks, some contact tasks between the robot and the disabled exist. Therefore, TDC based F/T sensorless compliance control algorithm is developed for these tasks without additional cost. We verified the proposed algorithm with experiment. Also for the practical use, suitable compliance for contact tasks is chosen by clinical testing at Korea National Rehabilitation Center.

  • Cable stayed bridge is supported by cables and the negative reaction occurs by cables at anchor pier. To solve this problem, the proper side span ratio and the negative reaction measure of anchor pier are needed. And structural system of cable stayed bridge is determined by solution of the negative reaction as installation of the intermediate pier, counterweight and so on. In feasibility study, Vam Cong bridge was planned as 5 span cable stayed bridge. However, it was changed to 3 span cable stayed bridge in detailed design because of constructability and economy. The intermediate pier was excluded in order to improve the constructability, and side span ratio increased to control the negative reaction. As a result, Vam Cong bridge secure constructability, structural safety, and efficiency.

  • This paper deals with the HVDC system fault analysis and the tuning of the control parameter. This paper is based on the actual cable fault which was caused by the overvoltage due to commutation failure. In order to analyze the fault, the detailed PSCAD/EMTDC model which the sampling time is $50{\mu}s$, was made. Finally, the control parameter of HVDC system was tuned.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study on the control of a self-activated cable spooling system for towed array handling winch using a hydraulic servo driving unit and a cable position measurement mechanism. To design a controller of the cable spooling system, it is carried out the analysis of the hydraulic servo system and derived the relationship of a parameters through the control theory. Also, it is derived from the control specifications using settling rotation angle and spooling safety ratio proposed to the analysis for the behavior of the system. The cable spooling system is tested and evaluated to validate the performance of the controller.
