Development of Real-Time Scheduling System for OHT Mission Planning (OHT 작업 계획을 위한 실시간 스케줄링 시스템 개발)

  • For smart manufacturing, most semiconductor sites utilize automated material handling systems(AMHS). As one of the AMHSs, the OHT control system(OCS) manages overhead hoist transports(OHT) that move along rails installed on the ceiling. This paper proposes a real-time scheduling system to efficiently allocate and control the OHTs in semiconductor logistics processes. The proposed system, as an independent subsystem within the OCS, is interconnected with the main subsystem of the OCS, so that it can be easily modified without the effect of other systems. To develop the system, we first identify the functional requirements of the semiconductor logistics process and classify several types of control scenarios of the OHTs. Next, based on SEMI(Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) standard, we design sequence diagrams and interface messages between the subsystems. The developed system is interoperated with the OCS main subsystem and the database in real time and performs two major roles: 1) OHT dispatching and 2) pathfinding. Six integrated tests were carried out to verify the functions of the developed system. The system was normally operated on six basic scenarios and two exception scenarios and we proved that it is suitable for the mission planning of the OHTs.

  • To achieve the advertising objectives, we must first draw out consumer's advertisingto advertising, and then realize the data processing course from comprehension to the retention of the advertising contents. In current media environment, however, the value of advertising as the method of attracting consumer's attention is declining due to the current situation of newspaper and magazine advertising as follows. As for newspapers, competitive messages are increasing on a continuous basis; the size of advertising section and the number of newspaper pages has been increased along with the popularization of color advertising. As for magazines, more pages are allocated for advertising rather than for the actual contents. In such communication environment, it is believed that only the advertising capable of uniquely appealing to consumers can achieve the purpose of advertising. Hence, this research attempts to discuss the effective ways of promoting attention in print media through the case studies covering the design principles relating to layout and the layout format, among the visualization processes related to the consumers'memory.

  • The pan-european paging system European Radio MEssage System (ERMES), a new system of digital information communication, has 16 channels with 25KHz channel spacing. The ERMES modulation format is 4-PAM/FM. The ERMES operates in the frequency range 169.4125MHz$\~$169.8125MHz. In this paper, an ERMES receiving system according to the European Telecommunication Standard Institute(ETSI) specfication with a double error correction capability is designed. The ERMES receiver system is designed with the conventional circuit and its error performance for muitiple signal modulated by the 4-PAM/FM method are analyzed. Since amplitude imbalance among the signal components can impair the system performance when several receivers are operated on the same RF channel simultaneously, the optimal parameters are obtained in designing the radio system. Performance of the proposed receiver system is verified via computer simulation for processing procedure.

  • 국내 주요 인삼재배 산지 기반을 가진 전북 진안지역의 인삼 홍삼산업은, 재배농가 895호, 재배면적 402ha, 생산량 1,628톤, 홍삼가공업체 80개소, 판매업소 50개소로 지역경제의 25% 이상을 차지한다. 그러나 재배농가의 계열화 미흡(22%), 산지수집상(포전매매)에 의한 인근 유사 도매시장으로 재배물량과 부가가치 유출(78%), 가공시설의 노후화, 가공업체의 영세성(매출규모 연평균 2억11백만원)과 함께 중국, 캐나다, 미국 등의 국제 가격경쟁과 국내의 대기업 및 인삼산업 주요지역과의 경쟁이라는 상황에 직면하고 있다. 이러한 상황을 극복하고 지역특화명품산업으로 발전할 수 있는 방안으로, 인삼재배산지로서 원료공급지를 기반으로 하는 재배, 유통, 가공, 품질관리, 시설분야에 이르는 발전방안을 연구하였다. 산업원료 확보를 위해서는 인삼계열화 확대를 통해 원물 확보력을 강화하여야 한다. 재배분야의 경우에는 친환경재배 확대와 GAP 확대를 통해 원물의 품질경쟁력 뿐만 아니라 시장수요에 따른 브랜드마케팅 요인으로 특성화해야 한다. 유통분야는 계열화 확대를 통한 원물확보라는 산업경쟁력을 바탕으로 원료중심의 수취, 매취, 보관, 가공, 대형거래, 도소매 등 유통활성화와 유통규격포장 및 선별등급표준화를 통한 유통표준화를 추진하여야 한다. 가공의 경우, 원료홍삼 공급기능을 중심으로 가공산업을 선택 육성해야한다. 품질관리는 원물중심관리(성분, 잔류농약, 식품위생), 유통중심관리(연근, 등급), 경작중심관리(재배지, 재배자, 경작), 프로세스중심관리(재배 유통 가공 판매정보)로 구체화해야한다. 시설분야는 유통시설(대규모 집하시설, 보관시설 등 종합유통처리시설)과 가공시설(가공설비현대화, 가공공장 공인규격화;ISO, GMP, HACCP)의 지속적인 시설개선과 현대화를 추진하여야 한다.

  • We often use the KCID(Korean Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary) and ICID(International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary) within cosmetics research and within their export and import. so far, we do not have a database of a cosmetics' raw materials. Because of this, we consume a lot of time to find the raw material data that is needed. This study constructs a cosmetics' raw material database and develops the program to retrieve it. We used a Linux machine as the equipment for this study and we used Apache web server, MySQL database server and PHP as the tools of this study. 11,817 kinds of raw materials data were registered as ICID, 866 kinds of raw materials data were registered as KCID and 28,008 kinds of raw materials data with registered trade name into the database. Also, The database was composed of the database of the association form. The database of the online form could ultimately reduce the task time as soon as it did its purpose. The product of this study can become a good basis of data to reconfigure. In the future, it can become a good database in relation with different databases.

Development of On-board Computer Module for Formation Flying and Cluster Operation Nano-satellites (초소형 위성의 편대 및 군집 운용을 위한 모듈형 온보드 컴퓨터 개발)

  • In this study, the minimized on-board computer (OBC) module for integrated navigation is developed, which provides satellites' relative position information in formation flying and cluster operation situations. The scalability is considered to apply the user-selected wireless communication module and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver for navigation, while considering to meet the structural design standard of nano-satellites. As a result of the product development and production, the processing speed of integrated navigation and real-time data synchronization is satisfied for cluster operation nano-satellites by using micro controller unit (MCU). From a heat/vacuum, vibration and radiation test, the OBC was confirmed to be operated in space environments. From these results, a mass production system of OBC was made which is a key part of development on satellite formation flying and cluster/constellation missions that the community demands are increasing.

  • In this paper, we designed manufactured and design an integrated interface control unit that has compatibility with brightness control unit, color control unit, and existing control unit. As the implementation method the standard of DVI/HDMI transmission method is applied to the data transmission method, and the Sil 1169 IC is used as the applied IC. Brightness control is programmed to have eight levels of brightness control using the AT89C2051. Also, EPM240T100C5 IC was used for image and dimming data processing. As a result, it is compatible with the control unit using the DVI/HDMI transmission method manufactured by each company and can reproduce clear high quality full HD video according to the surrounding brightness through the full color LED display system.

  • With the development of communication infrastructure, the number of network equipment owned by one person is gradually increasing. General-purpose devices such as smartphones can implement theft/loss prevention function by implementing S/W. However, other small devices lack practicality such as long-distance communication problems due to standard communication technology specifications or H/W limitations, and lack of functions(authentication and security). This study combines the Lora communication protocol in the LPWA standard environment and the blockchain technology. Anti-theft and security functions were added to the protocol, and the PBFT consensus algorithm was applied to build a blockchain network. As a result of the test, the effectiveness of safety(authentication and trust network) and performance(blockchain processing performance) were confirmed. This study aims to contribute to the future development of portable or small device anti-theft products as a 4th industrial convergence research.

Design and Implementation of a Mapping Middleware for Wireless Internet Map Service (무선인터넷 지도서비스를 위한 매핑 미들웨어의 설계와 구현)

  • With the spread of wireless internet, the interest in mobile applications and services is increasing. Korea Wireless Internet Standardization Forum has been establishing the standards for mobile platform and map service in the wireless internet environment. This study aims to present a paragon of mapping middleware that plays the role of broker for wireless internet map service: in particular, it focuses on the interoperability with generic map servers. In this study, we developed a method for applying current map servers to the wireless internet map service, and analyzed the request/response structure of the map servers which have different operation characteristics in order to allow our middleware to fully utilize the functionalities of the map servers. The middleware we developed is composed of .NET-based XML Web Services: it has a lightweight module for image map and a map representation module for choropleth map, symbol map, chart map, etc. This mapping middleware is a broker between mobile client and generic map server, and supports .NET clients and Java clients as well. Its component-based interoperability grants the extensibility for the wireless internet dedicated map servers of the future in addition to the current generic map servers.

  • Line-of-sight communications cannot easily support korean armed forces because of mountainous terrain. ADD(Agency for Defense Development) introduced ANASIS(Army Navy Air-force Satellite Information System) to meet the Korean warfighter's operational needs. Currently, army's military satcom terminal is designed for either fixed site or on-the-pause operation. The US army is under development of multi-band integrated on-the-move satellite terminals to let the army's communication capability to keep pace with globally deployable Joint Task Force for network-centric application. In this paper we analyzed X-band and Ka-band link and subsystem requirement. Our focus here is to describe key technical issues. Especially, On the basis of 3dB beam width of 0.9m antenna, Tracking accuracy and disturbances compensation signal processing on-the-move of Antenna Tracking system is analyzed. Also, protocol is analyzed that minimize blockage on the move due to an obstacle. when the received signal blocked, it stop to transmit burst signal and retransmit when blockage removed through received synchronization signal monitoring. Analyzed specification will be used to make prototype terminal to analyze risk for mass production
