A Study on Message Set of VMS on Express way and Evaluation of Driver's Preference (고속도로 VMS Message Set 연구 및 이용자 선호도 평가)

  • VMS(Variable Message Sign) which makes the traffic flow smooth by providing traffic information to road users in real-time has been being installed or operated on the road as part of the detailed ITS system. However, some problems were found as a result of survey on express way currently. In the part of the phase operation, the message interpretation time wasn't defined so that the phase operation was difficult. In the part of the information service, not considering characteristic of the VMS section caused the confusion to drivers. In the part of the message exposure, font, alignment, conversion and composition of the information were not consistent and use of superfluous words and inconsistent use of word having the same meaning brought about the problem on information communication This study established the detailed exposure method based on instructions relative to VMS operation. The method established by defining the number of appropriate phase and setting required function of each individual VMS installation location. The method is as follow. the font type is the GULIM, the message conversion method is simple conversion method, the alignment method is centering alignment method and the color is defined according to each situation. In this study, the preference survey was performed to review the validity of the proposed improvement through the common driver. The results were similar with the pre-study except for the font type. This study established the detailed exposure method based on instructions relative to VMS operation. The method established by defining the number of appropriate phase and setting required function of individual VMS installation location. For the evaluation of status and improvement, preference survey of ordinary drivers and statistics analysis was carried.

  • The rapid development of the current information and communication brings big changes and progress in the health service delivery system. And it is becoming the worldwide trend increasingly. As the name of medical information, by more rapid, detail and more quickly to the patients and diagnosis of the disease it provides not only a high level of health care services but also hospitals and related institutions are making increase the efficiency of the work. Among them, the Telemedicine, that system has many advantage which can expect the shorten the waiting time and the uniform high level of medical, etc. without visiting medical institutions. Especially, the most advantage is it can increase the accessibility of information about extensive medical, without regard to the time and place. But this is the reality, which compared speed the development of modern science and technology with lack of operational regulations and mindset. Current in our Medical Law, it regulates the Telemedicine, but it has Institutional, facility, and environmental constraints. Because, there is no detailed legal relationship. And it takes that in terms of a special form called by a non-face-to-face contact with medical practice rather than the scene. Therefore, in this paper will find a way out to activate the Telemedicine by presupposes the development potential is infinite and find the legal issues and improvements.

Influences of Information Media of Patient Safety Incident on Nursing Students' Knowledge, Perception, and Confidence in Performance toward Patient Safety (환자안전사고 정보매체가 간호대학생의 환자안전에 대한 지식, 인식, 수행자신감에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study was to identify how information media about patient safety incidents influences nursing students' knowledge, perception, and confidence in performance toward patient safety. A total of 337 nursing students agreed to participate in this study. Data were collected from the participants between June 4 and June 12, 2018. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSS 21.0. Participants' scores for knowledge, perception, and performance confidence toward patient safety were $6.43{\pm}1.92$, $41.02{\pm}4.35$, and $39.61{\pm}5.89$, respectively. Patient safety knowledge was significantly different according to age, grade, and patient safety education experience. Patient safety perception was significantly different according to satisfaction with the major, patient safety performance confidence showed statistically significant differences according to grade, patient safety education experience, and major satisfaction. Information media exposure to patient safety incidents on TV and knowledge (r=.32, p<.000) and performance confidence (r=.21, p<.000) toward patient safety had positive correlations. Information media exposure to patient safety incidents on the internet and knowledge (r=.34, p<.000), perception (r=.12, p=.028), and performance confidence (r=.24, p<.000) toward patient safety also had positive correlations. This study provides basic data for nursing education and program development for patient safety management.

An Observation of the Visual Language and the Visual Technology according to the Media Technology (미디어테크놀로지의 발전에 따른 시각언어와 시각테크놀로지의 고찰)

  • Recent complex visual culture is the visual world widely magnified according to the images like image, graphics, photograph, movie, and television, etc. by the development of digital technology. Because it conveys meanings and contents inserting sound and letters, it may have multimedia character conveying and communicating information beyond general language and letters. The vision for various images at that time is inseparably connected with language. And imaginative order of image and vision are composed of special way in culture and history. Language is different in society, culture, and history. Accordingly, if visual experience is communicated with language partially, it is difficult to have university. So, role of linguistic order plays an important role in forming and defining the social and cultural differences among the visual systems. Historically various visual and optical devices with this visual language have influenced a lot. These visual technologies are concrete and physical practice determining a way to get together with the subject and the visible object in the visible world. The visual language is connected with dimension like these symbols of images and the dimension like visual technologies to series of historical physical and institutional practices. It determines social visual mode toward object world in one of visual system. Accordingly, this study is to understand visual language with social and historical character according to the changed concept and characters as development of media technology. And it is to explain it in view of visual language as a dimension of symbol and visual technology of institutional and physical practice. After all, it cannot explain the effect on the function and visual mode of visual technology as its technical element only. It also cannot separate with the practice with coherent discourse and the physical and institutional practice. The possibility, technical element of technology contains, does not realize as it is but the effect is always communicated in the social veins and realized with a restriction.

A Study on the Application Method of 3-Dimensional Modeling Data (3차원 모델 링 데이터의 활용방법에 관한 연구)

  • One of the most important factors in the work environment of the industrial design is the design process which can systematically synthesize the informations of related fields. Because the computer technology is being radically developed, industrial should not only positively be able to cope with new technologies, but also should positively be able to take part in the development of the integrated system for the process by the new technologies. Recently in the industrial design field, designers are often using the computer~applied-3D modeling techniques in the development process of industrial design products, especially in the visualization level of the design development. In this paper, we studied the workstation modeling process to understand the computer~applied-3D modeling and presented the methods of transfer of the 3D-modeling data of a workstation(SGI) to the AutoCAD data of a personal computer which is generally being used as a drawing tool in mechanism parts. Through the development process of an electronic taxi meter as a practical case study, we check the possibility whether the 3D-modeling data transferred from an industrial design part to a mechanism part can directly be used as the mechanism data. For this, we transferred the 3D-modeling data of an electronic taxi meter created with a workstation(SGI) to the AutoCAD data of a personal computer and checked the usefulness of data transferred from an industrial design part to a mechanism part. Through these processes of data transfer, we aimed to find out the basic principles which can be rationally applied to a mechanism part or a production part.

A Study on Perception and Task of Lifelong Education for Individuals with Disabilities (장애인 평생교육의 인식 및 과제에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the perceptions and tasks of lifelong education for individuals with disabilities, including the necessity of lifelong education and the range and content of it for the disabled. The research method is a focus group interview with 4 managers of lifelong education institutions for the disabled, and the data were analyzed according to the process of thematic analysis method proposed by Braun and Clarke(2006), which is one of qualitative data analysis methods. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, the lifelong education for the disabled is needed, because, unlike the non-disabled, the disabled are less able to recognize and respond to social changes, which requires equipment or convenience facilities to improve it. Second, the range of lifelong education for the disabled was suggested as social life including daily life, vocational ability development education, culture·art·physical training, and those required by individuals with disabilities. Third, the lifelong education institutions for the disabled are lack of experts and have difficulty in communicating between practitioners and the disabled. In conclusion, it is required to provide lifelong education by self-determination of the disabled in the community by priority.

The Development of VR based Application for Realistic Disaster Prevention Training (현실감 있는 재난재해 예방 교육을 위한 VR 기반 앱 개발)

  • The Korean peninsula has been known as an area that is free of volcanic disasters. However, recent observations and research results of volcanoes in Far East Asia, including Baedu Mountain and Japanese volcanoes, show that the Korean peninsula is no longer a safe area from volcanic disasters. Since 2012, the Korean government has been developing an IT-based construction technology, VDRS (Volcanic Disaster Response System), for effective volcanic disaster response system. The main users of VDRS are public officers in central or local governments. However, most of them have little experience and knowledge about volcanic disasters. Therefore, it is essential to develop education contents and implement training on volcanic disaster response for effective response in a real disaster situation. In this paper, we deal with the development of a mobile application based on virtual reality (VR) for realistic volcanic disaster response training. The objectives of training are the delivery of knowledge and experience for volcanic disasters. First, VR contents were generated based on spatial information. A 3D model was constructed based on a Digital Elevation Model (DEM), and visualization models for meterological effects and various volcanic disaster diffusion effects were implemented for the VR contents. Second, the mobile application for the volcanic disaster response training was implemented. A 12-step story board is proposed for volcanic disaster experience. The application was developed with the Unity3D engine based on the proposed story board to deliver knowledge of various volcanic disasters (volcanic ash, pyroclastic flows, volcanic mudflow etc.). The results of this paper will be used for volcanic disaster response and prevention training and for more realistic training linked with augmented reality technology in the future.

  • 1996년도 UN해양법협약의 발효와 각국의 배타적 경제수역(EEZ) 선포로 연안역에 대한 관심이 국제적으로 고조되고 있는 가운데 우리나라에서도 연안역 관리법(가칭)이 제정되었다. 국토해양부는 연안역 공간이용 효율성 극대화와 부존 해양자원의 치계적인 개발과 보전을 위하여 연안역 관리법을 특별법으로 제정하였으며 1998년 중에 시행령 등 하위법령을 제정해 시행키로 하였다. 이 이후로도 연안역 특별법에 대한 연구는 계속 진행중이며, 현제 연안역은 연안어업, 수산양식장, 모래채취, 염전, 해수욕장, 관광지, 해양시설, 간척, 매립지, 공업단지 등으로 많이 이용되고 있다. 그러나 연안역 안전시설에 대한 상세 설계기준 및 시공에 대해서는 자세히 다루고 있지 않다. 연안역은 관광객이 증가하면서 안전시설과 구난장비의 미비한 실정으로 인해 인적 물적 피해가 빈번히 발생 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 안전사고의 다발지역을 분석해 보면 관광객으로 인하여 방파제 주변에서의 안전사고가 증가하고 있는 상황이며, 이로 인한 인명피해도 증가하고 있다. 방파제에 대한 안전사고를 막기 위하여 우선적으로 방파제에 대한 안전사고를 해결하고자 인명피해를 막는 구난시설들에 대한 간격 등의 기준을 제시하였다. 다른 지역에 비하여 연안역은 파도에 의하여 사람이 떠내려가는 것을 고려하여 구난시설의 간격을 해안이나 다른 안전시설에 비하여 더 짧게 하였으며, 구난시설이 피해자에게 빠르게 전달되고자 멀리 던진 수 있으며, 구난시설을 잡음과 동시에 숨을 쉴 수 있는 여건이 조성되도록 연구하였다. 안전사고를 효율적으로 방지하기 위하여 인간공학을 접한 안전시설을 연구를 하였다. 인간공학이란, 인간의 행동, 능력, 한계, 특성 등에 관한 정보를 발견하고, 이를 도구, 기계, 시스템, 과업, 직무, 환경의 설계에 응용함으로 인간이 생산적이고 안전하며 쾌적하고 효과적으로 이용할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 인간공학은 인간이 사용할 수 있도록 설계하는 과정에 있어 인간의 활용성 및 편리성을 증대하는 학문으로 보며, 설계초기 단계에서부터 인간의 요소의 체계적인 고려를 필요로 하게 되었다. 이 논문은 과거에 일어났던 사고사례들을 주시하면서 앞으로의 미래에 똑같은 사고사례가 발생하지 않도록 예방하이 위하여 인간공학과 안전시설을 통하여 연안역의 안전시설의 설치기준에 도움이 되는 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

Effect of Job Search Channels on Occupational Adaptation of College Graduates : Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Person-Job Fit (대졸자의 구직경로가 첫 일자리 직업적응에 미치는 영향 : 개인-직무 적합성의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This paper analyzed the effect of job search channels on the occupational adaptation of college graduates, with the Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) data. The analysis results are as follows: First, when using human networks for getting jobs, not only the educational level and major adequacy, but also the workplace satisfaction and the job satisfaction were higher than when using non-human networks. Second, as in the mediating effect of the relationship between job search channels and occupational adaptation by Sobel-test, it was found that there was a partial mediating effect of educational level and major adequacy, excluding skill level adequacy. The results of this study shows that human networks, by serving as an effective information transmitter on person-job fit between job search and recruitment, contribute significantly to improve occupational adaptation of college graduates. These results imply that strategic utilization of human networks in job search activities is important, and that it is necessary that career-related programs in the universities or the employment service institutions systematically include the importance and methods of using human networks.

Flight Safety Improvement on Surion through Circuit Design and Software Reformation of Data Acquisition Unit (수리온 데이터획득/처리장치 동작회로 및 소프트웨어 개선을 통한 비행안전성 향상)

  • The data acquisition unit, signal acquiring and processing equipment, processes and provides major data of an aircraft such as engine system, power train system, hydraulic system, etc. However, it had lots of failure related to the system during production test flight, and it is necessary to fix them perfectly as soon as possible because of the significance of the equipment. In this paper, it contains failure classification and analysis for each defect element to improve whole software as well as electrical circuit. Particularly, utilizing Fault Injection Method based interworking test, more efficient improvement activity was performed for not only equipment level but also aircraft level, and as a result, it is achieved that considerable betterment of Surion quality and flight safety.
