The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition levels of students in occupational therapy on the function of the dementia care center. The study included 357 students in occupational therapy and the study was conducted from September 2019 to December 2019 based on the questionnaire about the function of the dementia care center. The major results of this study were as follows: Among the types of projects of the dementia care center, 'consultation and registration management' scored the highest. There were significant differences in recognition levels of 7 projects of dementia care center according to 'age' among general characteristics. There were significant differences in recognition levels of 6 projects except 'a visiting model' according to 'grade'. There were significant differences in recognition levels of 'rest area business for dementia' and 'support for families with dementia' according to 'region'. There was a significant differences in recognition levels of 'dementia care village' according to 'experience of using dementia care center'. There were significant differences in recognition levels of 'consultation and registration management', 'support for families with dementia', 'dementia care village' according to 'experience of clinical practice'. This study will provide basic data for the study of community based rehabilitation and help to establish the curriculum of occupational therapy.

The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction level of dental hygiene students with the general education courses of the dental hygiene curriculums and their awareness of the curriculums in a bid to seek ways of improving the general education curriculums. The subjects in this study were 265 sophomores in four different colleges located in the cities of S, L and K. A self-administered survey was carried out, and the findings of the study were as follows: In terms of satisfaction level with the general education courses, they got 2.54, which was a low score. To be specific, they expressed the most satisfaction with the duplication of the courses (2.63%), followed by appropriateness (2.61%) and teaching methods (2.60%). As for links between general characteristics and satisfaction with the general education courses, the students who were more satisfied with their major were more gratified with the general education courses, and the gap between them and the others was statistically significant (p<.001). The students didn't think that the general education courses they were taking were conducive to character building. Concerning connections between general characteristics and view of the general education courses, the students who were better contented with their major took a more favorable view of the general education courses, and the gap between them and the others was statistically significant (p<.05). In relation to expectations for the general education courses, they asked for efficient teaching methods, competent lecturers and the kinds of general education courses that could step up self-development. Therefore the general education curriculums should discreetly be reviewed to ensure the successful and diverse implementation of the curriculums.

According to domestic and foreign research, one of the common characteristics of good teaching is a variety of class activities. To make 'Business Major English' a good class, the researcher used a variety of class activities such as professor explanation, group activities & presentation, vocabulary quizzes, reading comprehension, homework and test feedback. The participants were 39 junior students who took 'Business Major English' in 2015 and 2016. Data on student perception were gathered from questionnaires. The analysis of the data showed, first, that the class activity the students preferred the most was professor explanation. Second, the class activity which was the most helpful in understanding text content and English sentence structures was professor explanation. Third, there were not many students preferring group activities & presentation and the students found group activities & presentation the least helpful in understanding text content and English sentence structures. Given the results, this study implies that for English class activities, students' preferences and the help they perceive have a relation to the characteristics of a class and students' English proficiency.

Objective : This study aims to compare the awareness of adolescent occupational therapy (AOT) among university students majoring in occupational therapy (OT) in Korea and the United States through an online survey. Methods : This online survey was conducted from January 9 to 13, 2023 to investigate the awareness about AOT among 55 students majoring in OT in Korea and the United States. An online survey was formulated in Korean and English. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and an independent t-test. Results : In response to the question "Have you ever heard of AOT?", 65.5% of Korean students answered yes and 58.2% of the United States students answered no. In both countries, the average score for the question "Can AOT help improve the quality of life of teenagers?" was the highest, while the score for "Is AOT sufficiently advanced in your country?" was the lowest. For "Potential for future development of AOT," the scores for the two countries showed a significant difference (p < .05). Conclusion : Students in both countries acknowledged the necessity and importance of AOT, but there were differences noted in terms of prospects of the therapy.

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a difference in the needs of the prevention program for dating violence according to the gender and major of University students. The subjects of the study were the humanities, social science and health care students in U university, which included 220 male students, 131 female students, and a total of 351 students. The research tool produced and surveyed the questionnaire about the timing, content and method of education about prevention of dating violence through the review of previous studies. For data analysis, independent sample t-test and cross-analysis were conducted to analyze the differences in the demands for dating violence prevention programs according to the gender and major of University students. The results of the study were as follows: First, there was a significant difference in the demands of teaching methods of dating violence prevention programs according to the gender in personal counseling and experience activities using open KakaoTalk. The women were significantly higher than men in all sub-factors of dating violence prevention programs. Second, there was a significant difference in the demands of teaching methods of dating violence prevention programs according to the major in personal counseling and experience activities using open KakaoTalk. The health care students were significantly higher in all sub-factors of dating violence prevention programs than in humanities and social sciences students.

The purpose of this study was to examine relation of awareness and education requirement of the 4th industrial revolution in health care students in attempt to provide basic data of determining the principle and education plan. The subject of study were 280 students of health department of H university in Gwangju and analyzed by gender and grade. The female students were positive awareness of the 4th industrial revolution and the level of influence on the major field was highest in lower grade students. The level of negative factors such as generation gap(p<0.05), gap between rich and poor (p<0.01), personal information infringement(p<0.05), decrease in existing jobs(p<0.05), and abuse of artificial intelligence(p<0.05) was highest in male students. In prepration for the 4th industrial revolution, education on bio and medical device(22.2%) was the most desired. The higher positive awareness, the higher educational demand(p<0.001). It is necessary to develop programs and various education to increase positive factors such as the creation of new jobs and improve the quality of life in the era of the 4th industrial revolution.

This paper will examine the service quality of online education on service value, learning immersion, major satisfaction. The result structural equation model show that service quality of online education had a positive impact on service value. First, system convenience, system quality, interaction had a positive impact on service value. Second, System convenience, system quality, interaction had a positive impact on learning immersion Third, Online education on service value had a positive impact on Major Satisfaction. Fourth, Learning immersion had a positive impact on Major Satisfaction.

In this paper, In this paper, we study the recognition of undergraduate students and professors about the relation between mathematics learning contents of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. We chose 155 undergraduate students and 6 professors at college of business administration in M university and investigate their recognition about the relation between mathematics learning contents of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. We found following facts. First, mathematics education in high school should be based on understanding of mathematical conceptions and principles rather than problem-solving skills to intensifying the relation between mathematics of high school liberal arts course and major fields of college of business administration. Second, we have impressed upon them, whom are going to college of business administration, the need for more mathematics to study a major field.

최근 건강-의료 분야의 학과 신설 및 전공자가 급격하게 늘어남에 따라 해부학 교육의 질적 향성 및 학습자의 학습효과 증진을 도모하기 위해서는 새로운 강의방식의 도입이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 해부학 교육에 있어 면대면 강의에 사용한 내용을 바탕으로 가상강의 컨텐츠를 자체개발하였고, 2007-2009년 간호학과 및 스포츠과학부의 전공필수 과목인 해부학 강의를 가상강의 방식으로 실시하였다. 이 과목을 수강한 2개 학과 231명을 대상으로 강의 종료 후 가상강의실 게시판 및 컨텐츠 활용 빈도, 개별 설문조사, 학기말 성적을 확보하여 가상강의실 활용도, 만족도 및 학업성취도 상호간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 학생들의 만족도, 난이도, 흥미도, 평가의 적절성, 전공연계성 등에서 긍정적인 평가를 받았다. 또한 가상강의실의 로그인 횟수와 게시판에 대한 학생들의 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 학업성취도는 난이도 (r=0.411, p<0.01)와 높은 상관관계를 나타내었고, 만족도-흥미도(r=0.407, p<0.01), 만족도-전공연계성 (r=0.507, p<0.01), 흥미도-전공연계성 간에도 높은 상관관계를 보였으나 흥미도-전공연계성(r=0.474, p<0.01) 등에서 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 건강-의료 분야의 전공자뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야에서 폭넓게 요구하고 있는 해부학 강의수요를 효과적으로 흡수함과 아울러 해부학교육에 있어 새로운 지평을 열수 있는 가상강의에 대한 연구로서, 향후 해부학 교육에 있어 충분한 활용가치가 있는 효과적인 교수법이 될 것으로 사료된다.

The Purpose of this study was to exam the relationships among nurse image, nursing professionalism and major satisfaction and mediating effect. A convenience sample of 200 nursing students were recruited from a college in G city, from May 12 to 16. 2014. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS/PC ver 21.0 programs. There were significantly positive correlations between nurse image, nursing professionalism and major satisfaction. Nursing professionalism fully mediated the relationship between nurse image and major satisfaction. These findings indicate that increasing nursing professionalism can be an effective way to change nurse image more positive among nursing students, especially before clinical practice. A collaborative effort among nursing education and nursing leaders in practice is needed to change nurse image more positive.
