The interviews were made to 958 elderlies in urban and rural areas from March 1 to May 31, 2009. The mean scores of QOL among all subjects were $55.4{\pm}15.62$(Grade I; $49.7{\pm}14.17$, Grade II; $56.8{\pm}14.62$, Grade III; $59.4{\pm}16.36$), and they were lower according to the higher grade of long-term care insurance. The multiple regression analysis was used to reveal the explanatory powers of factors influencing on the level QOL. Such factors as educational level, monthly income, subjective health status, depression and MMSE-K were shown to affect their QOL in Grade I, Grade II, and Grade III with explanatory powers of 45~62%.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze how much demographic and disability-related characteristics influence the quality of life that employed and unemployed disabled people, and determine difference in the influence of those factors between the two disabled groups. For this purpose, the study utilized 1st-year(2016) data from the 2nd wave of the Korean Panel Study on Employment for the Disabled. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, employment is a critical factor that influences the disabled's quality of life. Besides, there are some financial, socio-relational and physical factors on which that quality is heavily dependent. Second, employed disabled people's quality of life is even more influenced by financial factors, socio-relational factors and health state than demographic factors. Third, unemployed disabled people's quality of life is significantly influenced by some demographic factors like gender and age and some physical factors like disability grade and disability period as well as by factors found influencing employed disabled people's quality of life. Thus, the two disabled groups are different from each other in which factors influence their quality of life. Based on these findings, this study made suggestions for the disabled's better quality of life.

  • This study was conducted to identify the actual condition of exercise and the fact of influence to exercise in the disabled. The subject was consisted of 369 disabled. 84.5 percent of subject did exercise regularly. There was statistically significant in cause of disability(p<.001), type of disability(p<.001), grade of disability(p<.01), education(p<.01), economic state(p<.05), aim of rehabilitation exercise (p<.001). Chance to practice exercise in subject who intend to exercise was 16.18 times high than them who have no intention(95% CI =7.45~37.14). Regular exercise intervention is needed to disabled people in community.

  • Care of people with severe disabilities requires care throughout their life cycle compared to non-disabled families. For this reason, carers of severely handicapped families are highly likely to have negative feelings throughout the family as well as daily stress. Disabled families also have a high rate of experiencing difficulties between non-disabled children or married couples in life centered on the disabled. In particular, the rapid aging in Korea affects the lives of the elderly disabilities along with the aging of the caregivers. The study explored alternatives to realistic support through the past and present experiences of caregivers with disabilities through qualitative research methods, and derived hopes and expectations for the future as follows.First, after confirming the disability for infants and toddlers with disabilities, information about the support system or system is provided from the rating agency. Second, providing "customized care support" suitable for the type of disability or individual characteristics at the social, political, institutional, and economic levels. Third, the provision of programs for non-disabled children and the provision of healing programs only for families with disabilities or those with disabilities. Fourth, the provision of spaces and programs that provide rest and rest for adults with disabilities. Fifth, the application of a long-term care system for the elderly reflecting the aging age of the disabled and institutionalization of community care for the disabled. The research is meaningful in that it presents discussion points for improving the quality of life of adults and the elderly with disabilities.

  • The significance of self-reported voice assessments concerning patients' chief complaints and quality of life has increased. Therefore, readability assessments of questionnaire items are essential. In this study, readability analyses were performed based on text grade and complexity, vocabulary frequency and grade, and lexical diversity of the 11 Korean versions of self-reported voice disorder questionnaires (KVHI, KAVI, KVQOL, K-SVHI, K-VAPP, K-VPPC, TVSQ, K-VDCQ, K-VFI, K-VTDS, and K-VoiSS). Additionally, a comparative readability assessment was conducted on the original versions of these questionnaires to discern the differences between their Korean counterparts and the questionnaires for children. Consequently, it was determined that voice disorder questionnaires could be used without difficulty for populations with lower literacy levels. Evaluators should consider subjects' reading levels when conducting assessments, and future developments and revisions should consider their reading difficulties.

  • This study aims to identify parents' recognition of school-enterprise convergence by type of disability. To this end, it analyzes 150 parents with children attending special school in region D, K, and S. As a result, first, parents preferred their children's vocational ability development, employment rate improvement, and manufacturing and supplying method of goods requested by industrial bodies in the community the most and hoped to complete educational courses for the professional education of a job that they wanted to learn and learn the basic ability education for the job. Second, they preferred participation in practical hours and after-school activities and hoped all 2nd and 3rd high school graders to be selected if they wanted, and as compensation for them, wanted appropriate adjustment of class hours or tasks. This suggests that active participation in classes and selection of various types of business seem to be necessary.

  • In order to understand those factors to influence the hearing-impaired in connection with their using hearing aids, this study analyzed a total of 521 hearing-impaired people examined by a fourth-year Korea panel survey of employment for the disabled. For the analysis, the study, first, used Andersen-Newman service use model to categorize any influential factors into precedence factors, possibility factors and desire factors, and second, in order to look into how these factors would work on the hearing-impaired's using the hearing aids, the study conducted the logistic regression analysis. According to the results of the analysis, in terms of the precedence factors, when the hearing-impaired people are older and more highly-educated, they would be happier to use the hearing aids while when it comes to the possibility factors, when the gross income of these people is lower but when they are more willing to accept the fact that they have a disability, they would have a fewer problems with using the hearing aids. In addition, regarding the desire factors, when the hearing-impaired people can hear relatively better than the other hearing-impaired, they would be more significantly willing to use the hearing aids. In the light of what has been learned, the study discussed the limits of its research and proposed implications.

  • Various methods using machine learning and big data have been applied to prevent failures in Data Centers. However, there are many limitations to referencing individual equipment-based performance indicators or to being practically utilized as an approach that does not consider the infrastructure operating environment. In this study, the performance indicators of individual infrastructure equipment are integrated monitoring and the performance indicators of various equipment are segmented and graded to make a single numerical value. Data pre-processing based on experience in infrastructure operation. And an ensemble of RRCF (Robust Random Cut Forest) analysis and Prophet analysis model led to reliable analysis results in detecting anomalies. A failure analysis system was implemented to facilitate the use of Data Center operators. It can provide a preemptive response to Data Center failures and an appropriate tuning time.
