지난해 티켓발매기 시장은 2004년에 비해 성장한 양상을 보였다. 총 450대 제품보급에 27억 8천만원대의 매출로 2004년 대비해 배 이상의 시장 증가를 기록했다. 성장률로 보면 반가운 일이지만 워낙 산업 볼륨이 작기 때문에 아직은 가야할 길이 먼 시장이다. 더욱이 작년도 실적은 판매가 아닌 임대장비의 비중도 꽤 많았음에 미루어 볼 때 시장은 여전한 부진 속에 있다 하겠다. 업체들의 의욕만큼 크지 못하고 여전히 가능성의 시장으로 남아있는 티켓발매기 시장. 그렇다면 티켓발매기 시장이 기대만큼 시장성공이 힘든 요인은 어디에 있을 까? 금호 인터뷰에서는 티켓발매기 시장이 안고 있는 현실과 문제점과 진단하기 위해 세원테크의 이광근 사장을 만나봤다. 지난 93년부터 사업을 시작한 세원테크는 부진한 시장 여건 가운데서도 견실한 성장을 해온 기업이다. 누구보다 티켓발매기 시장의 현실을 잘 알고 있는 이광근 사장을 통해 시장 활성화 방안을 찾아 봤다.

(주)프린벨트의 이근성 대표이사는 하이델베르그에서 16년 동안 제품 매니저와 영업이사 등으로 재직하는 등 인쇄업계의 경력이 풍부하다. 이를 바탕으로 내수라벨지 및 패키지용 용지를 필두로 인쇄물 품질 관리 시스템 및 검출 장비, 코팅 장치 및 후가공 장비 등을 도입하고 있으며, 최근에는 스위스 갤루스의 인라인 포장박스 인쇄 및 후가공 설비를 독점 공급하면서 인쇄시장에 신선한 바람을 일으키고 있다. 이근성 대표이사를 만나 그 배경과 앞으로의 비전에 대해 들어봤다.

The purpose of the current study was to investigate the level of market size and market share of domestic research equipments for analyzing the difference of the number and amount of construction by the manufacturing countries in the basic and analytical science fields based on the information of the research equipment invested by the Korean government for the past 14 years. As of January 1 2019, from 2005 to 2018, 20,687 research facilities & equipments (main equipment with a construction cost of 30 million won or more) built in the basic and analytical science fields were selected for this study and their components, standard classification, number of construction, and amount of construction by country of manufacture were analyzed. Differences of the number and amount of construction among manufacturing countries were tested using a single sample chi-square test and one-way analysis of variance, followed by Bonferroni's post-hoc test. As a result of this study, the number of construction (p<.001) and construction amount (p<.05) were statistically different for each manufacturing country. The level of market size and market share was significantly different according to the equipment standard classification (p<.05). Therefore, differentiated strategies of the government and policy research projects will be required for each type of equipment and amount in order to support the policy for the localization of research equipment.

장비 효율화와 복합기와 프린터의 적어진 가격 격차에 따라 전체 출력기기 시장에서 복합기의 비중은 지속적으로 높아져 2009년 73%에서 2012년 82%까지 늘어날 전망이다. 특히 A3 컬러 디지털 복합기의 성장폭이 매우 클 전망이다. 전년 대비 약 40% 늘어난 규모의 시장이 형성될 것으로 보여 A4 레이저 시장이 11% 성장하는 한편, A3 레이저 시장은 무려 21% 이상의 두배 가까운 성장률을 보일 것으로 전망된다. 전 세계적으로 A4 성장률이 높은 반면, 한국 시장의 경우 금액기준 A4는 4.7%, A3는 7.1%의 연평균 성장률을 보이며 A3 시장이 시장 성장을 주도할 것으로 예측된다.

The aim of this study was to examine the scale and market share of Chinese's research facility & equipment in the domestic research equipment market of basic and analytical science field for analyzing the difference of the number and amount of construction by year of acquisition, national research facility equipment standard classification code, and type of institution based on the information of the research equipment invested by the Korean government for the past 14 years. In addition, we analyzed the correlation among the year of acquisition, equipment standard classification code, and type of institution variables. As of January 1 2019, from 2005 to 2018, 50 Chinese's research facilities & equipments (main equipment with a construction cost of 30 million won or more) built in the basic and analytical science fields were selected for this study and their number of construction, amount of construction, year of acquisition, type of institution, and standard classification code were analyzed. Differences of the number and amount of construction with-in and by year of acquisition, standard classification code, and type of institution were tested using a single sample Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-wallis test. The correlation among the three variables was analyzed by using the Chi-square test of cross-tabulation analysis. And there was a statistically significant correlation among the year of acquisition, standard classification code, and type of institution (p<.05). Compared to the 2000s, in the 2010s, high-priced Optical Electronics/Video Equipment was installed at private universities, private enterprises, and government-affiliated research institute. Therefore, the domestic construction status of Chinese's research facility & equipment in the basic science and analytical science field is less than that of the domestic ones, but the number and the amount of construction are increasing statistically. So it is necessary for the government to be able to recognize the possibility that the Chinese's research facility and equipment can encroach on the domestic research industry market and to prepare related provision.

전자광학 기술분야의 선진국들이 다른 나라로의 기술이전에 인색한 이유는 이러한 기술이 현대 국방력을 결정하는 중요한 요소로 작용하기 때문이다. 이와 같이 선진국으로부터의 기술이전을 기대하기 어려우므로, 국내에서의 연구가 절실히 요구되는 이 때에, 본 센터의 연구가 성공적으로 수행된다면 국방력 증강에 크게 기여할 것으로 확신하며, 전자광학 관련 장비의 수입대체 효과를 이룰 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 이러한 기술과 관련된 장비의 세계 시장이 매년 급격히 증가하고, 이러한 장비는 대단한 부가가치가 높은 산업으로 수출을 통해 국가 경제 부흥에 기여할 수 있다고 생각한다.
