  • 본 연구에서는 스마트 홈 솔루션 IoT 허브 시스템의 하드웨어를 개발한다. IoT를 통해 스마트기기의 상태를 모니터링하다가, 특정 센싱값을 받으면 제어를 통해 스마트기기를 제어할 수 있도록 개발한다. 미세먼지 측정과 온습도를 조절하고, 가정 온도를 측정하여 전자제품의 전원을 조절하는 등 홈을 자동 제어하기 위한 소프트웨어도 함께 개발한다.

  • 최근 후쿠시마 원전, 쓰나미, 홍수와 눈사태와 같은 자연 재난들의 발생으로 인해 엄청난 수의 사상자와 막대한 재산피해가 초래되었다. 이런 재난을 미연에 방지하고자 하는 자동화된 조기 경보 시스템의 연구, 지능형 영상감지 기술 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러한 지능형 영상감시기술을 적용하여 재난유형별 위험상황을 감지, 판독, 분석, 표출할 수 있는 기능을 구현하고자 통합된 카메라 영상정보를 활용하여 영상변화를 감지하여 자동식별과 판독을 통해 기준 값 이상의 변화감지 시 경보알림 및 해당 영상 표출을 제공하였다. 본 논문은 기존의 수위상승 감지는 수위계나 교량에 표시된 수위표의 숫자를 읽어 자동적으로 위험을 알려주거나 사람이 수위감지를 위해 설치된 카메라를 모니터링 하여 위험을 감지하도록 되어있던 점을 개선하여 기존 수위감지 목적으로 설치된 카메라의 영상을 분석하여 수위상승 위험을 알려주는 알고리듬을 제안하였다.

  • In this study, it was intended to present solution for learners to understand and utilize photogrammetry more easily using economic medium except expensive measuring equipment. For this, 3D point data was analysed by generating event to stereo image on monitor, and input to CAD system automatically. so, real time vector editing and drawing with coordinates measurement were possible. The system was verified, and the monitoring for real construction was performed. so, it is expected to be utilized as a practical use software in related fields.

  • For the purpose of maintenance and prevention of earth fill dams against damage from natural hazards, automatic monitoring through various measuring instruments and resistivity survey has been carried out. Reservoirs and embankments have the structural vulnerability on the agricultural usages since most of them were built more than thirty years ago. The main aim to use monitoring method is to verify the safety and integrity of the dam. Resistivity survey can detect potential weaknesses, such as defective zones, anomalous seepages or internal erosion processes. Permanent resistivity monitoring systems were installed at a reservoir, which daily measurements have been taken every 6 hour. Using monitoring data for one year, anomalous seepage and structural defects were clarified for dam safety. Annual water level fluctuations are around 10 m. During their operation, reservoir dams are subject to a never-ending hydraulic load from the reservoir, which over the years may cause changes in the properties of the inner parts of the dam construction. Detailed analysis of the monitoring results was performed and showed that resistivities at most locations have been very stable over the full monitoring period excluding the effects of water fluctuation and seasons. To investigate the detectability of weak zone using the DC resistivity monitoring, numerical modeling with a simplified model for the drainage at a reservoir dam was also performed. The results showed that the seepage zone near drainage in a reservoir dam could be detected by resistivity response change.

IoT based Mobile Smart Monitoring System for Solar Power Generation (IoT 기반 모바일 스마트 태양광 발전 모니터링 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose and implement an IoT based mobile smart monitoring system in the view point of safety inspection for solar power generation. The main features and contributions of proposed system are as follows. First, the proposed system model can evaluate periodically in the view point of safety inspection the conditions of the system and structure of solar power generation. Second, the proposed system automatically re-processes the measurement data of the system and structure for solar power generation and save it into database. Third, using the re-processed and saved information, the proposed system can provide the monitoring information with webpage form to both administrator and owner of solar power generation system, thus they can measure and confirm directly in the view point of safety inspection the conditions of the solar generation structure without visiting those places. Fourth, the provided web pages for the monitoring of solar power generation can be accessed regardless of the system structures. The performance evaluations of the proposed system show that the proposed monitoring system can save efficiently the data received from the sensors installed in the structure of solar power generation into the data base in the collecting server. And the proposed system can support that both administrator and user of solar power generation system access webpage in real time without considering places by using mobile phone and desktop computer and obtain the information for the conditions of the system and structure of solar power generation with graph forms.

  • In recent days, the demand for the remote ECG monitoring system has been increasing and the automation of the monitoring system is becoming quite of a concern. Automatic detection of the abnormal ECG beats must be a necessity for the successful commercialization of these real time remote ECG monitoring system. From these viewpoints, in this paper, we proposed an automatic detection algorithm for the abnormal ECG beats using QRS width and RR interval patterns. In the previous research, many efforts have been done to classify the ECG beats into detailed categories. But, these approaches have disadvantages such that they produce lots of misclassification errors and variabilities in the classification performance. Also, they require large amount of training data for the accurate classification and heavy computation during the classification process. But, we think that the detection of abnormality from the ECG beats is more important that the detailed classification for the automatic ECG monitoring system. In this paper, we tried to detect the VEB which is most frequently occurring among the abnormal ECG beats and we could achieve satisfactory detection performance when applied the proposed algorithm to the MIT/BIH database.

  • This paper deals with the automatic flight control system for an unmanned target drone which is operated by an army as an anti-air gun shooting training. By automation of unmanned target drone that is manually operated by external pilot, pilot can reduce workload and an army can reduce the budget. Most UAVs which are developed until today use high-cost sensors as AHRS and IMU to measure the attitude, but those are contradictory for the reduction of budget. This paper says the development of low-cost automatic flight control system which makes possible of automatic flight with low-cost sensors. We have developed the integrated automatic flight control system by integrating electricity module, switching module, monitoring module and RC receiver as an one module. We also prove the performance of automatic flight control system by flight test.

  • This study aimed to verify the criteria of the driver monitoring systems proposed by UNECE ACSF informal working group and the ministry of land, infrastructure, and transport of South Korea using driving behavior data. In order to verify the criteria, we investigated the safety regulations of driver monitoring systems in a conditional autonomous vehicle and found that the driver monitoring measures were related to eye blinks times, head movements, and eye closed duration. Thus, we took two different experimental data including real-world driving and simulator-based drowsy driving behaviors in previous studies. The real-world driving data were used for analyzing blink times and head movement intervals, and the drowsiness data were used for eye closed duration. In the real-world driving study, 52 drivers drove approximately 11.0 km of rural road (about 20 min), 7.9 km of urban road (about 25 min), and 20.8 km of highway (about 20 min). The results suggested that the appropriate number of blinks during the last 60 seconds was 4 times, and the head movement interval was 35 seconds. The results from drowsy driving data will be presented in another paper - part 2.

Thus, we took two different experimental data including real-world driving and simulator-based drowsy driving behaviors in previous studies. The real-world driving data were used for analyzing blink times and head movement intervals, and the drowsiness data were used for eye closed duration. In the drowsy driving study, 10 drivers drove approximately 37 km of a monotonous highway (about 22 min) twice. The results suggested that the appropriate duration of eyes continuously closed was 4 seconds. The results from real-world driving data were presented in the other paper - part 1.

Mobile exercise monitoring for personalized exercise prescription (맞춤형 운동처방을 위한 모바일 운동 모니터링)

  • This study was carried out the exercise monitoring utilizing mobile device which is easily accessible and personalized exercise prescription based on it. For this, a variety of exercise monitoring and status of those were investigated and suggested the potential of personalized exercise prescription. If individual users send their body and vital informations using a mobile device, all informations are collected in u-Fitness center. After then exercise expert provide a customized prescription based on the collected information and feed data into database of u-Fitness center. System of U-Fitness center will provide the best personalized exercise prescription by automatically connecting to the content providers. In the future, a variety of mobile devices and services will work together and it can be evolved as an open platform that can be used for multiple services according to the needs of individual users on a single platform.
