The Type Characteristics and Illustration of War Helmets Worn by High Navy Officers during the Period of Japanese Invasion of Korea(1592~1598) (임진왜란기(1592~1598) 상급 수군 투구(胄)의 유형별 특성과 일러스트화)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate war helmets that were worn by high navy officers during the period of Japanese Invasion of Korea(1592~1598). War helmets worn during the War are classified into three types depending on whether they have a visor or 'cheom' and tongues or 'drim'. The war helmets of circumferential type has neither cheom nor drim. Those of cheom type has cheom, but not drim. And those of drim type has both drim and cheom or jeonbi. The war helmets of cheom type consist of a gamtu which is made of steel and looks like a reversed bowl and cheom that surrounds the entire circumference of gamtu. The war helmets of drim type are reclassified into two types in accordance with the shape of the gamtu and whether they have ganju. Of the two types, one type looks like a reversed bowl and has decorations on the top without ganju. The other type looks like a bottle neck and has ganju on the top, decorations above ganju. War helmets were in transition during the period of Japanese Invasion of Korea. Both the war helmets of cheom and drim types were worn during the War. At that time, the officers also wore war helmets having no ganju and looking like a reversed bowl and those having ganju and looking like a bottle neck. During the period, most war helmets were made of steel, but in the 18th and 19th centuries, most of them were made of leather.

  • This study is about the armors that high navy officers of Joseon wore during the period of Japanese invasion of Korea(1592~1598). The kinds of armors that these officers wore during this period are Sueungap, cheolgap, pigap, jigap and myeongap. Sueungap, cheolgap, pigap are all described in literatures, which were released in that period and the early Joseon period. According to publications that were released during that period, Yuyeopgap was a type of an iron armor. Armors that are recorded in only literatures published in the early Joseon period include swaejagap, gyeongbeongap, dujeonggap, hwangdongdujeonggap and dudumigap. Myeongap is found only in publications that were made in the above war time. The styles of armors are largely classified into chalgap and dujeonggap. The chalgap-styled armors used gapchal as their main component. Dujeonggap-styled armors used fabrics and dujeong. The names and the manufacturing methods of the gapchal did not changed since its creation in the early Joseon period until the above wartime. But, their shapes were considerably changed between the two times. This is clearly shown in armors that were found in the moat of the Dongrae-eup fortress. Dujeonggap-styled armors that were used during the period of the Japan-Korea war were a successor to those of dujeonggap-styled armors of the early Joseon period. But the former armors were different from the latter in that they had no gapchal inside. They are well represented by Jeong Chung Sin's armor.

  • In this study, the shapes of po worn by military officers who served During the period of Japanese Invasion of Korea(1592-1598) were investigated. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. Various types of po that military officers usually wore during the period of Japanese Invasion of Korea includes jikryeong, dapho, dopo, cheolik, aekjureum, jangeui, jungchimak and bangryeongpo. Out of these types, cheolik and jungchimak were most often used by the officers. Po that were usually worn by military officers during the period of Japanese Invasion of Korea as above mentioned is characterized as no difference in length between the front and back of the costume, kalgit and a pair of coat strings which are directly attached to po. The sleeves of the costume are bean chaff-shaped in some cases and just narrowly shaped in other cases. Similarly, the outer seop of po was either double-layered or single-layered. For jikryeong and dapho, mu is usually type of outside wrinkle. For dopo, its rear kit has the inner hem whose right and left edges are usually distant, respectively by 6~16cm, from the back center of the costume. Cheolik and aekjureum usually have either fine or broad pleats. For jangeui and jungchimak, mu is usually trapezoid in shape. Among various types of po which were usually worn by military officers during the period of Japanese Invasion of Korea, most representative are jikryeong from the tombs of Bae Cheon jo, dapho from Shin Yeo Gwan, dopo from general Bak and Bae Cheon Jo, cheolik from Nam Yoo and Cho Gyeong, aekjureum from Shin Yeo Gwan, jangeui from Kim Ham, jungchimak from Bae Cheon jo and bangryeongpo from Cho Gyeong.

  • 2017년 상반기 우리 게임 시장의 특징 중 하나가 중국산 모바일 게임의 국내 흥행이라 할 만 하다. 3월 경만 해도 중국 게임사들이 카카오 등 국내 유통 업체 등을 통해 시장에 들어왔다면 7월 이후 우리 시장을 포함한 구글 플레이 마켓에서 초강세를 보이는 소녀전선 등은 국내 시장을 노린 한글화 작업 이외에는 중국, 대만, 홍콩 등의 업계가 제작과 배급을 다 담당하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문은 이러한 국내 모바일 게임 시장에서 강세를 보이는 중국 게임을 플레이하는 국내 사용자들이 중국 게임임을 인지하고 있었는지, 또 어떤 면에서 국내 게임보다 더 선호되었는지를 여러 모바일 게임 사이트를 통한 201명의 설문 조사를 통해 밝히고자 하였다. 중국산 게임의 한국 사용자들은 79%가 남성이고 대부분이 20대 이하였으며 미소녀 함선 게임을 주로 하지만 그런 장르적 특성 이외에 소녀성, 판타지성, 선정성이 강화된 일러스트와 한국 게임과는 다른 과금정책 및 운영정책에 높은 점수를 주었음이 드러났다. 더 이상 한국 모바일 게임이 중국 수출품용이 아니라 오히려 우리가 시장을 방어해야 할 단계가 아닌지 심히 우려되는 상황이라 하겠다.

  • 본 논문에서는 영상의 중요한 특징을 강조하는 점의 분포를 가지는 자동화된 점묘화(stippling) 제작 방법을 제시한다. 예술가의 점묘화 일러스트 작품을 살펴보면 영상의 특징을 강조하는 방향성이 있는 점들을 사용해서 회화적인 느낌을 살림과 동시에 사물의 형태를 좀 더 명백히 파악할 수 있게 해준다. 하지만 컴퓨터 그래픽스 분야에서 연구된 기존 점묘화 기법 알고리즘은 입력 영상의 특징적인 형태를 고려하지 않고 색조에 따른 점의 밀도 변화만으로 사물을 표현하기 때문에 사물의 형태가 제대로 드러나지 않는 단점이 있다. 본 방법에서는 점의 분포가 대상의 형태를 반영하며 분포되게 하는 알고리즘을 적용하여 사물의 특징적인 형태를 강조한다. 이를 위해 영상의 특징선으로부터 추출한 특징 흐름(feature flow)을 따라 점을 배치시키는 방법을 사용한다. 그리고 입력 영상의 색조(tone)를 점묘화에 반영하기 위해 점의 크기가 입력 영상의 색조에 따라 자동으로 결정되도록 한다.

  • Nous conduisons tous les codes graphiques specifiques d'un genre de la bande dessinee coreenne, sounziang manwha, e la "decorativite". Afin de mieux rendre compte de cette decorativite, nous suivons un chemin qui aborde des divers etats de cette specificite. Etant donne que la decorativite n'est pas originaire, ni propre totalement au genre, nous nous interessons e ses formes differentes dans les genres precedentes : dessin de mode, dessin lyrique, illustration, affiche, shojo manga, etc. Ils nous permettent e voir des ressemblances et des differences dans les styles graphiques. Nous parvenons enfin e comprendre ce que la decorativite en bande dessinee est attachee intimemnt aux traits fictifs et irreels du diegese.

An Analysis of the Infographics Features of Visualization Materials in Section 'Information and Communication' of Physics I Textbook (물리 I 교과서의 '정보와 통신' 단원에 제시된 시각화 자료의 인포그래픽 특징 분석)

  • In this study, we try to examine its features by using the methods of systematic infographics analysis for visualization materials that are used in Physics I textbooks. Thus, after developing the analytical framework infographics, visualization materials is described in the section "information and communication" and have been analyzed separately as "data visualization" and "Infographics." The results of this study are as follows. First, the analysis framework of infographics can be classified contents of the information, visual representation, and media method. Second, the visualization materials that are displayed in the section "information and communication" of Physics I textbook are of higher quality than most schematized data that are graphically, simple information. Third, the features of visualization materials in textbooks have many relations & functions on 'information content', text & metaphor on 'visual element', illustration & comparison on 'expression type', graphic on 'expression mode', printed matter on 'media method', and horizontal & vertical type on 'the flow of attention'. From the analysis results, in the section "information and communication" of Physics I textbook uses a lot of visualization materials, however it does not provide rich infographics but only simple graphical materials. By utilizing the results of the analysis of textbook and analysis framework of infographics, which has been developed through the this study, let us hope that the opportunity to be able to grasp the importance of infographics in science education be provided.

An Analysis of the Infographics Features according to the Scinece Content's Domains in Middle School Science Textbooks (중학교 과학 교과서에서 과학 내용 영역에 따른 인포그래픽의 특징 분석)

  • This study classified the visualization's materials presented in two types of middle school science textbooks to data visualization and infographics, thereafter characteristics of infographics according to science content's domains were analyzed using an analytical framework for infopraphics. The results of this study are as follows : First, visualization materials in middle school science textbooks had more data visualization (23.2%) than infographics (76.8%). Second, there were many differences in information content's category among the science subject's domains. The relationship type of information content in the domain of energy and matter, the function type in life domain, and the location type in the earth domain were prominent. In visual representation's category, the illustration type and comparative analysis type were the most dominant in the all science domains. The horizontal type in layout category occupied the largest proportion in all science domains. Therefore, it is necessary to present the visualization materials with the infographics conveying many informations than the data visualization in middle school science textbooks. And the infographics need to be developed and distributed in various formats in each science domain.

  • We could use a social networking service such as data communication, personalized service through smart devices as Tablet computers and smart phones. Because of these characteristics, suitable lectures are provided to mobile device. especially, in Korea Cyber University already had built a lot of infrastructures. But, many mobile devices are used in a small display environment. it could effect on reduce Students' efficiency from taking courses. Therefore, we need effectively in a small display content layout for overcome these problems. In this paper, proposed the platform for Improve learning effect in smartphone education. It studied based on golden section and golden spiral theory. and also, we developed layout for content development using vector method illustration program.

The Effect of Physics Instruction Using Infographics Based on Visual Thinking in High School (고등학교에서 시각적 사고에 기반한 인포그래픽 활용 물리 수업의 효과)

  • In this study, we tried to find the effects of carrying out infographics instruction based on visual thinking with the infographics materials presented in physics textbooks targeting specialized vocational high school students. Thus, 60 students were divided into the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group had 25 classes composed of 'infographics concept formation, infographics understanding activity, and infographics configuration activity', on the other hand, the control group were instructed by lecture-type class. The results of this study are as follows: First, features of the infographics created by the students include changes in types of presentation from 'simple arrangement' to 'simple reconfiguration' and from 'illustration' to 'comparative analysis', which were made by the visual thinking of the students activated in accordance with the increase of their configuration times. Second, instruction by using infographics, visual thinking significantly improved in the level of understanding, visibility, usability, and communicability. Third, after instruction using infographics, the mean score of the experimental group's achievement significantly improved. Fourth, there was a significant improvement in the area of 'normality of scientist, attitude on scientific inquiry, and scientific attitude' in the test of attitudes toward science. From the analysis results, we could conclude that instruction using infographics enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts and communication capability by improving visual thinking abilities, which have a positive impact on academic achievement and attitudes toward science.
