  • Recently, as the use of the applications like online banking and stock trading is increasing by the rapid development of the network, security of data content is becoming more and more important. Accordingly, public key or symmetric key encryption algorithm is widely used in open networks such as the internet for the protection of data. Generally, public key cryptographic systems is based on two famous number theoretic problems namely factoring or discrete logarithm problem. So, public key cryptographic systems is relatively slow compared to symmetric key cryptography systems. Among public key cryptographic systems, the advantage of ECC compared to RSA is that it offers equal security for a far smaller key. For this reason, ECC is faster than RSA. In this paper, we propose a efficient key generation method for elliptic curve cryptography system based on the real number field.

CompGenX: Component Code Generation System based on GenVoca and XML (CompGenX: GenVoca와 XML 기반의 컴포넌트 코드 생성 시스템)

  • Software product lines are to attain the rapid development of qualify applications by concretizing the general components populated in software assets and assembling them according to the predefined architectures. For supporting the construction of the software product lines, this paper proposes a component code generation techniques based on GenVoca architecture and XML/XSLT technologies, In addition, CompGenX(Component Generator using XML), a component code generation system, is proposed on the basis of this techniques. By providing reconfigurability of component at the time of code generation, CompGenX allows the reusers to create the component source code that is appropriate to their purpose, In this system, the process of the component development is divided into two tasks which are the component family construction task and the component reuse task, For the component family construction, CompGenX provides the feature modeling tool for domain analysis and the domain architecture definition tool. Also, it provides the tool for building the component configuration know1edge specification and the code templates, For the component reuse task, it offers the component family search tool. the component customizing tool and the component code generator. Component code generation techniques and system in this paper should be applicable as basic technology to build the component-based software product lines.

  • Recently for software development productivity a lot of researches in the field of software engineering hove focuses on the component-based software product lines which allows the reuse of forger-granularity software components Its purpose is to develop the specific software application of quality more rapidly by instantiating and assembling the components populated in software product line assets The essential part to build the component-based software product lines is the quality of components, and one of the most important features determining the quality of components is 'reconfigurability' Component reconfigurability means the extent to which the reusers can change the functions and architecture of the component according to their context and environment. This paper proposes the component code generation technique which provides the reconfigurability at the time of code generation using The feature diagram and XML/XSLT technologies The approach of this paper allows the component reusers to get automatically their own component source code by providing only the values of variabilities represented in the feature diagram of the component family. The real world example, the code generation system for o list container family, shows the applicability of the feature model and XML related technologies in the area of the generative programming. Our approach should be basis to build the component based software product lines and extensible to support the larger graularity components.

  • This paper introduces a manufacturing facility visualization system for the monitoring of smart factories. With the development of technology and the emergence of such terms as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Industry 4.0, technologies for smart factories are becoming more important. A Manufacturing Execution System that can improve productivity and help decision making by monitoring production plants in real-time is one of the key technologies for smart factories. The application of digital twin technology for more accurate monitoring technology is also an important issue. However, digital twin implementations require an integrated infrastructure that can integrate facility data from multiple manufacturers. Therefore, this paper designs and develops a visualization program that can verify real-time information of facilities using data collection system based on international standard protocol for heterogeneous collection and monitoring of facility data. This allows a factory to consolidate equipment data from multiple manufacturers and to view them in real-time.

  • TCP is needed as a transport protocol to provide reliable end-to-end message delivery for MANETs in order to achieve a smooth integration with the fixed Internet. Particularly, TCP has its variants, namely TCP-Reno and TCP-Vegas. However, there has been no research work on extensive performance comparison of TCP-Reno and TCP-Vegas over AODV and OLSR. This paper is the first trial to perform the research by using ns-2 simulator. Through the extensive simulations, we found that which to select among routing protocols is more important than which to select among TCP variants, because the performance difference between TCP-Reno and TCP-Vegas over uy selected routing protocol is not so much outstanding. Particularly, TCP-Vegas relies on an accurate BaseRTT estimation in order to decide the sending rate of a TCP Sender. However, it cannot be directly applied to MANET because a route change makes the Base an used over a Previous Path obsolete. Therefore, we propose a technique for improving the performance of TCP-Vegas by considering the route change, and show the performance improvement through simulation study.

  • In these days, 3D dynamic simulation is closely related to many industries. In the past, physically-based 3D simulation was used mainly in the car crash or construction related fields, but it also plays an important role in movies or games today. Many mathematical computations are needed to represent the 3D object realistically, but it is difficult to process a large amount of calculations for simulation of application based on CPU in real-time. Recently, with the advanced graphic hardware and improved architecture, GPU can be utilized for the general purposes of computation function as well as graphic computation. Many approaches using GPU have been applied for various research fields. In this paper, we analyze the performance variation of two cloth simulation algorithms based on GPU according to the change of execution properties of GPU shaders in oder to optimize the performance of GPU-based cloth simulation. Cloth simulation is implemented by the spring centric algorithm and node centric algorithm with GPU parallel computing using compute shader of GLSL 4.3. We compare the performance of between these algorithms according to the change of the size and dimension of work group. The experiment is repeated to 10 times during 5,000 frames for each test and experimental results are provided by averaging of FPS. The experimental result shows that the node centric algorithm is executed in higher speed than the spring centric algorithm.

Connection between Fourier of Signal Processing and Shannon of 5G SmartPhone (5G 스마트폰의 샤논과 신호처리의 푸리에의 표본화에서 만남)

  • Shannon of the 5G smartphone and Fourier of the signal processing meet in the sampling theorem (2 times the highest frequency 1). In this paper, the initial Shannon Theorem finds the Shannon capacity at the point-to-point, but the 5G shows on the Relay channel that the technology has evolved into Multi Point MIMO. Fourier transforms are signal processing with fixed parameters. We analyzed the performance by proposing a 2N-1 multivariate Fourier-Jacket transform in the multimedia age. In this study, the authors tackle this signal processing complexity issue by proposing a Jacket-based fast method for reducing the precoding/decoding complexity in terms of time computation. Jacket transforms have shown to find applications in signal processing and coding theory. Jacket transforms are defined to be $n{\times}n$ matrices $A=(a_{jk})$ over a field F with the property $AA^{\dot{+}}=nl_n$, where $A^{\dot{+}}$ is the transpose matrix of the element-wise inverse of A, that is, $A^{\dot{+}}=(a^{-1}_{kj})$, which generalise Hadamard transforms and centre weighted Hadamard transforms. In particular, exploiting the Jacket transform properties, the authors propose a new eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) method with application in precoding and decoding of distributive multi-input multi-output channels in relay-based DF cooperative wireless networks in which the transmission is based on using single-symbol decodable space-time block codes. The authors show that the proposed Jacket-based method of EVD has significant reduction in its computational time as compared to the conventional-based EVD method. Performance in terms of computational time reduction is evaluated quantitatively through mathematical analysis and numerical results.

  • The growth of mobile devices in Internet of Things (IoT) leads to a number of intelligent buildings related IoT applications. For instance, home automation controlling system uses client system such web apps on smartphone or web service to access the home server by sending control commands. The home server receives the command, then controls for instance the light system. The gateway based RESTful technology responsible for handling clients' requests attests an internet latency in case a large number of clients' requests submit toward the gateway increases. In this paper, we propose the design tasks of the IoT gateway for handling concurrency events. In the procedure of designing tasks, concurrency is best understood by employing multiple levels of abstraction. The way that is eminently to accomplish concurrency is to build an object-oriented environment with support for messages passing between concurrent objects. We also investigate the performance of event-driven architecture for building IoT gateway using node.js on one side and communication protocol based message-oriented middleware known as XMPP to handle communications of intelligent building control devices connected to the gateway through a centralized hub. The Node.JS is 40% faster than the traditional web server side features thread-based approach. The use of Node.js server-side handles a large number of clients' requests, then therefore, reduces delay in performing predefined actions automatically in intelligent building IoT environment.

  • Generally, small and medium scale enterprises have conventionally been performing diligence and indolence management by hand, but many of them have been recently costing a lot of money for their diligence and indolence management and security maintenance. But yet, they have annoying sides due to the initial stage cost for the introduction of the system which is consisted of a terminal for reading a card, an RFID card, an administrative sewer and an application program for the diligence and indolence management as well as the insufficiency of the fixing skill being able to cope with the problems originating from hardware and software troubles. For this reasons, we developed a new diligence and indolence management system that the initial stage cost is moderate because it is needless to purchase a new server and to issue a new card, and the operation and management of the system is convenient because an RFID card reader communicates with a central administrative server in IDC(Internet Data Center) over internet for the diligence and indolence management.

  • Smart phones mixed with mobile devices and computers are biggest change of information technology and user-installed applications of them provide various information and services which were only possible on PC and Internet in the past. They are expected to be used by thirty million people in 2012 and people with disabilities can get easily information and location of disabled facilities using them. In this paper, we design a mobile information service system for person with disabilities, which provides various information and location of disabled facilities. We build information of disabled facilities using acquisition information through existing web sites and provide location based service with user's location. We also implement and service the proposed system and we show efficiency of our system.
