Food-Networks and Border-Crossing of Transnational Marriage Migrant Households (초국적 결혼이주가정의 음식: 네트워크와 경계 넘기)

  • This paper is to consider conceptually a formation of food-networks and border-crossing of transnational marriage migrant households on the basis of actor-network theory, and to analyze empirical data on the issues collected by interview with marriage migrant women living around Daegu, S.Korea. Some research results can be argued as follows: First, food can be seen, not as a single material object, but as a multiple and hybrid network of human and nonhuman (material and institutional) actors, in which activities of food cooking and eating are regulated by and (re)construct social relations and placeness of households. Secondly, food-networks in marriage migrant households implement relationships of micro-power (and attachment) in the process of its (re)formation, and hence the food-network, it can be argued, is a field of power in which conflicts and compromising around food cooking and eating are intersecting each others. Thirdly, food-networks in marriage migrant households in both their origin country and in the Korean home are not only affected by macro natural and social environments but also by micro placeness of the households, both of which constitute the food-networks and operate in relations with other actors in the netwroks. Finally, food-networks in marriage migrant households reflect multiple and multi-scalar spatial mobility and placeness of transnational food culture, through which they express topologically 'fluid space' and 'absent presence', in which marriage migrant women can (or cannot) conduct social and cultural border-crossing.

'스마트 홈'은 현실과 거리가 먼 이야기 같지만 오는 2007년까지 전체 가구의 60%인 1000만 가구에 홈 네트워크가 보급되고 차세대 광대역통합망(BcN) 구축이 완료되면 '인터넷'만큼 우리에게 친근한 일상으로 자리 잡을 것이다. 2007년 어느 주부의 일상을 통해 홈네트워크가 변화시킨 스마트 홈 세상을 잠시 엿보자.

Social Commerce Food Coupon Recommending System Based On Context Information Using Bayesian Network (베이지안 네트워크를 이용한 상황정보에 기반을 둔 소셜커머스 음식 쿠폰 추천시스템)

  • More sales of food and beverage coupons have been made using SNS on social commerce recently. If one buys coupons on social commerce, he/she can enjoy products at a lower price; however, there are drawbacks that one must consider such as location, service hours, and discount rate. Thus, this paper suggests a system that recommends food and beverage coupons on social commerce for users that considers a user's personal context of location, time, and purchase history. In order to reflect a user's context awareness and continuous preference, this paper suggests a method based on the Bayesian network. In order to reflect personalized weighting on the standard of coupon selection to match a user's preference, a measurement and classification of weighting preferences is performed on the basis of AHP. 20 experiments in one month involving 12 students were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the system, resulting in an 80% satisfaction level.

  • 자원을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 분산 처리 분야의 활용도가 높아지고 있는 가운데 P2P 기술의 유용성이 분산 환경에서 입증되고 있다. 이러한 P2P 시스템에서 다양한 컨텐츠를 이용하여 정보 제공의 역할을 하는 서버와 피어들로 구성된 P2P 시스템은 일반적인 자원 보유 서버로 구성된 시스템에 비해 서버의 부하가 적은 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 식당에서 음식 메뉴를 제공함에 있어서 소셜 네트워크 기반의 공동 구매에 있어 개선된 정보와 연계되어 효과적으로 진행되는 P2P 시스템을 제안한다. 소셜 네트워크 기반의 공동 구매 정보는 P2P 시스템을 이용하는 피어에 의해 제공되고, 이러한 중계 정보는 P2P 서버에 의해 제공되는 형태이다.

  • In these days, recommendation service in mobile environments is in the limelight due to the spread of mobile devices and an increase of information owing to advancement of computer network. The restaurant recommendation system reflecting user preference was proposed. This system uses Bayesian network to model user preference and analytical hierarchical process to recommend restaurants, but static inference model for user preference used in the system has some limitations that cannot manage changing user preference and enormous user survey must be preceded. This paper proposes a learning method for Bayesian network based on user requests. The proposed method is implemented on mobile devices and desktop, and we show the possibility of the proposed method through experiments.

  • P2P technology is the concept to share resources efficiently in distributed environments that a lot of research is underway. a lot. In these P2P systems, the server to support the contents-information have less overloads than the composed system as the server to have resources generally. In this paper, we suggest a P2P system to support conveniences to choice time for users that were connected with the information of joint-buying based on social network. Social networks based on co-purchasing information and price alerts using the P2P system is provided by the peer, this relay information is provided by the P2P server.

  • A sensor network which is composed of a large number of sensors that perform various sensing is applied in a variety of fields. The sensor networks can be widely used for various application area like as home automation, fire detection and security area. Development of new sensor to have appropriate functions and deployment of networks for suitable application are served actively. In this paper, we design and implement a system that monitors various factory facilities by deploying sensor network at a working place which threatens the worker's safety. A sensor node reports its sensing data like as temperature and humidity to monitor facilities to a sink node. And the server which is connect to the sink node gathers and provides information by user interface. In addition, digital data which are generated at a work place can be transferred via the sensor network to increase the efficiency of works. The proposed sensor network provides the convenience of working, since it is deployed at a garbage collection company to monitor a temperature and humidity of garbage and to transmit data about the weight of trucks which enters the company.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, we are living in a flood of information. It is very difficult and complicated to find the information people need in such an environment. Therefore, in the flood of information, a recommendation system is essential. Among these recommendation systems, many studies have been conducted on each recommendation system for movies, music, food, and clothes. To date, most personalized recommendation systems have recommended clothes, books, or movies by checking individual tendencies such as age, genre, region, and gender. Future generations will want to be recommended clothes, books, and movies at once by checking age, genre, region, and gender. In this paper, we propose a recommendation system that recommends personalized clothes and food at once according to the user's emotions and weather. We obtained user data from Twitter of social media and analyzed this data as user's basic emotion according to Paul Eckman's theory. The basic emotions obtained in this way were converted into colors by applying Hayashi's Quantification Method III, and these colors were expressed as recommended clothes colors. Also, the type of clothing is recommended using the weather information of the visualcrossing.com API. In addition, various foods are recommended according to the contents of comfort food according to emotions.

  • Recently, Many deliveries have sprung up and those are beginning to receive much attention from consumers. Like this, the application makes our lives more comfortable. Now, the delivery food application uses only static information of the user and the users only makes oder. In this thesis, however, the studies suggested that designed food application uses the user's location for mesuring a distance of delivery and estimated arrival time is displayed in the delivery application and The application provides a graphical view of the location of the user in real time.
